        촉각 중심의 아동 화예 감각교육 프로그램 가이드라인 개발

        Children are immature but they have infinite potential. How the latent abilities are materialized depends on the quantity and quality of experiences during infancy. These potential abilities can be developed through various sensory learning programs including fine arts, music, and craft. Floral arts learning also performs such a function. As they deal with natural materials, floral arts can provide various stimuli supplied by natural objects, and children can have opportunities for comprehensive sensory experiences from active utilization of sight, smell, touch, etc. This study focused on the development of touch sensation, which has been relatively neglected in research on sensory experiences. The reason for this study is that touch sensation during childhood is one of basic senses and the integrative use of the senses through the balanced development of the senses can provide useful experiences and insights. Therefore, this study developed guidelines for childhood sensory education programs centering on touch, one of instinctive human senses, based on floral arts formative education as cultural education for developing children`s potential abilities. For this purpose, we collected materials on touch sensation from the Internet, magazines, publications, etc. and analyzed behavioral scenes based on the grounded theory methodology, and then derived 9 concepts in an inductive way through description, type classification, concept definition, and theorization. The derived outcomes are concepts related to situation, phenomenon, environment, environment comparison, sensory activation, transfer, sociality, expression, and relationship, and detailed guidelines, which suggested possibility for new directions of education. Ultimately the results of this study are expected to be useful in developing creative floral arts sensory education programs for children.
