The elastic coupling system, which has a non-linear spring as an element and pendulum type absorber(PA) is studied numerically. The behavior of the viscoelastic damper model shows non-linear curves which is qualitatively similar to those of real elastic materials. A Damping of the elastic materials have an Influence on a system-behavior. The frequency-response curves show non-linear character and absorber effect.

The Driveline, which has a non-linear elastic coupling as an element and a Revolution adaptive Absorber (RAA) is studied experimentally. Measurement system have an Influence on a effect of the RAA. The frequency-response curves of the rotation angle and the relative rotation moment show absorber effect.

This paper discusses vibration mode of the drivesystem considered the vehicle body's dynamic characteristics to study the influence of the vehicle body's dynamic characteristics on the vibration mode of the engine mount system and the ride quality of a vehicle. The simulation model consists of the engine mount system, the powertrain and the rigid or elastic vehicle body. Variables used in this study are the stiffnesses of an engine mount system and the excitation forces. The Goals of the study are analyzing both the vibration transmitted to the vehicle body including the drivesystem and the influence of the vehicle body's dynamic characteristics on the engine mount system. The mode of drivesystem with rigid and elastic vehicle body was compared. From the result of the forced vidration andlysis for the drivesytem with a elastic vehicle body, it is shown that the vehicle body’s dynamic characteristics influence on engine mount system reciprocatly

In order to control the railway noise, the radiation characteristic of the noise when the train passes by should be analyzed. Generally, the major noise sources of the Korea Train Express are the rolling noise and power unit noise up to 300km/h. In this paper, a train model that is considered to be a row of point sourcesis introduced to analyze the radiation characteristic. The analysis results are compared with the measurement ones. It is shown that the propagation characteristic of the rolling noise is a dipole type and the noise generated by the power unit is radiated as a cosine type. With increasing of the train speed, the noise level at a receiving point is increased in the direction of motion and reduced in the direction opposite to the motion. The analysis results including the moving effect of the noise source at 300km/h show good agreement with the measurement results.
