본 연구는 사출 성형기의 제어 방법에 따른 정밀 검사에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 실험을 통하여, 유압사출 성형기와 전동식 사출성형기의 스크루 스트로크, 보압, 용융 수지온도에 대하여 정밀도에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 또한, 실험에서 얻어진 데이터 편차에 대한 가설 테스트를 수행 하였다. 연구를 통하여 스크루 스트로크, 용융 수지온도, 보압 순으로 편차가 크게 발생하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 유압식 사출성형기가 전동식 사출성형기에 비해 제품 간의 산포가 크게 발생하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 통계프로그램인 미니탭을 활용하여 스크루 스트로크, 용융 수지온도, 보압에 대한 가설을 설립 한 후 P값을 확인하여 스크루 스트로크, 용융수지온도는 귀무가설(H0)을 채택하였으며, 보압은 상호차이가 발생한 대립가설(H1)을 채택하 였다. A study of a precision test according to the control method of an injection molding machine was carried out. The effects of the screw stroke, holding pressure, melt temperature on both the hydraulic and electric injection molding machine were examined. In addition, hypothesis testing was performed to determine the deviation of the data obtained in the experiments. The conclusions obtained in this study were as follows. Significant deviations in the screw stroke, melt temperature and holding pressure occurred in that order. The hydraulic type showed significantly more variation between the products compared to the electric type. In addition, using a mini tab from the statistics program, a hypothesis was proposed and the P value of the injection stroke, holding pressure, melting temperature injection stroke and melting temperature had adopted a null hypothesis (H0). The holding pressure, which showed mutual differences, adopted an alternative hypothesis (H1).

In the data from synthetic resin makers, there is no shrinkage deviation through injection molding. But, after making the required products, even in the same conditions, there are some size-deviation in colors. Into our research, we checked main factor by the injection molding conditions. Our tests have shown this results, there are some shrinkage deviation in collors and, in the injection molding conditions, packing pressure is the main factor.

The screw in the injection molding machine mixes with plasticization. This study uses a standard screw and barrier screw to verify whether the screw shape in the mold affects the melt mixing. The relationship between the mixing of the molten resin and the weight and density of the injection molding was tested and the statistics were confirmed. The results show that color lines were generated only in the standard screw during the mixing of the master batch. The average weight of the injection products with the barrier screw was larger than that with the standard screw by 1.09% and the density was about 1.01%. The average distribution of the weight was lesser for the barrier screw than for the standard screw. Through statistical analysis, we confirmed that the screw shape affects the melt mixing and density, and the density of the barrier screw can be used to stabilize the densities.

In this study, an experiment was conducted using a 3D scanner, commonly used in reverse engineering techniques, and the newly introduced CT measuring machine. The hole, width, and angle of specimens having various shapes were designated, the error rates in dimensional modelling generated during scanning with each device were compared, and the models were printed using a 3D printer. A secondary comparative analysis of the two printed specimens was conducted; the causes of dimension errors that occur during the printing process after scanning with each device and the differences associated with variation in shape were also analyzed. Based on the analysis results, the featured shape for each scanning application method and issues to consider in reverse engineering were presented, and the use of the CT measuring machine was recommended as a method to minimize error rates in dimensions and ensure efficient reverse engineering.

The performance of injection molding machine’s control system, such as reproducibility, repeatability, etc, is widely studied nowadays. Since screw stroke, injection cylinder body pressure and barrel temperature are the most important terms of injection unit, interval linearity and repeatability to each parameter are analyzed here. Barrel temperature is analyzed according to the repeatability of the thermocouple at 150℃, 210℃, 300℃using a precise oven. The result temperature is within ±0.5℃ Through the reliability evaluation of the most important terms of injection unit, the method of evaluating the linearity and repeatability is proposed and verified.

This paper studies the relation between the deformation of platen caused by clamping force, the bending stress and elongation at the tie-bar in injection molding machine of toggle type. These data are analyzed through analytical molding and numerical approach by tensile tester. The effect of bending stress on the stress concentration of teeth and nut system is also analyzed by 2 dimensional numerical approach. The bending stress of tie-bar caused by platen deformation becomes less than 20% of average tensile stress. And the effect of bending stress on stress concentration at teeth and nut system of tie-bar is found to be small.

It confirmed high deviation as injection stroke > holding pressure> temperature according to measurement.
