The border among paintings, sculpture, fashion and design of modern art style in capitalistic society has been being fallen down with their own unique expression style which is far from typical stereotype. This kind of passion to express oneself is being appeared to be various form with the progress of arts.<BR> Kitsch which has been appeared since the industrial revolution of 19th century has become a new cultural arts which links pop culture and high class culture.<BR> This feature of Kitsch speeds up accord with modern arts and takes a part in modern social and cultural arts, which affects on mutually and became a ground work that changes modern system of consciousness.<BR> In modern society, personal taste becomes important.<BR> Absolute "beauty" does not exist any more. The notions of "Beauty" has been expanded. Kitsch has expanded its influence in modern society on the base of the public as a category of beauty which has modern characteristics.<BR> We can find various type of fashion in our ordinary life. We express social class, living standard and social approval as well as the sense of beauty through fashion.<BR> 1) Fashion shows internal and external world of beauty of a person reflecting politics, society, culture, arts and religion of the times.<BR> Make-up is also a formative arts which expresses on the human body. It is inseparable relation with fashion design and should not be treated careless in performing total image. These days make-up designers have a tendency to make peculiar design which is harmonized with the spirit of the times and formative style expressed on the human body. They present new way of expression such as new theme and new material and also they broaden the field of traditional arts to modern style of arts. That is an approaching method to a new motif or new expression method, that is, Kitsch.<BR> In this study, you will find how Kitsch has an effect on modern make-up design and how make-up design should go forward.<BR> The study on the Kitsch which has been actively discussed in the field of arts and aesthetics will be very meaningful. Kitsch which has been shown in modern fashion show make-up endows real life with sense of humor and wit with diversity.<BR> It also acts as an essential part to express total images of new fashion coming future. Kitsch will take an important role to expand the field of arts to pursue beauty through various attempt for new style of arts.

Eight new D-1.3-dioxolanyl and L-1,3-oxathiolanyl nucleosides containing 5-phenyl- selenyl pyrimidine bases which are expected to have antiviral activity were synthesized. Condensation of D-1,3-dioxolane acetate and L-1,3-oxathiolane acetate with 5-phenylselenyl pyrimidines gave anomeric mixtures of their nucleosides which were separated by silicagel column chromatography.

This paper introduces an optimized design for a sensor bracket used to measure the wear amount of an automobile brake pad, based on a dynamic kriging surrogate model. During testing, the temperature of the brake pad can increase beyond 600℃, which often causes sensor malfunction. Therefore, it is essential to optimize the shape of the sensor bracket to minimize heat transfer. To reduce the computational cost of the optimization, the heat-transfer simulation is replaced by a dynamic kriging surrogate model. Dynamic kriging utilizes the best combination of correlation and basis functions and constructs an accurate surrogate model. Following optimization, the temperature of the sensor position decreases by 7.57%. The results from the surrogate model under optimum conditions are verified by a heat-transfer simulation, and the design optimization using a surrogate model is found to be effective.
