강압제의 약효 평가에 24시간 활동혈압에 의한 방법을 도입하는 시도로 일차적으로 ACE inhibitor인 enalapril을 투여한 6명에서 office BP와 ambulatory BP를 투약 전후 비교하여 후자가 임상 평가와 상관이 큰 것을 확인하였다. Two recordings of ambulatory blood pressure obtained before and after treatment with RenitecR 10mg qd in 6 male patient with essential hypertension were analysed and summarized as follows ; 1.Once daily dose of Enalapril resulted in marked BP fall in 2 patients, moderate in one and in another 3 with combination therapy with dichlorothiazide 25 mg and prazosin 1 mg. 2.Enalapril (RenitecR 10mg) lowered BP definitely during day-time in contract to night-time which were not conclusive by this limited observation. 3.The means of ABP were more correlated with clinical assessment than office BP. 4.The prevalance of abnormal BP among multiple measurements would be a good criteria for evaluation of antihypertensive effect.

When and Why Does a Firm Choose a Certain Type of Internet Channel?YOO, Weon-Sang*This study explores the choice of Internet channels in the trucking industry. Two of the main Internet channels are considered: electronic transportation exchanges and company Websites. Six case studies are conducted in order to identify the key factors that influence a firm’s choice concerning the adoption of Internet channels. Based on these case studies, we generate a set of testable propositions that can be used as a foundation for future theoretical and empirical research. The case analyses highlight five main factors that influence the adoption of the Internet channels: size of the firm, percentage of business on the ongoing relationships, degree of fragmentation of the industry, transaction size, and size of the network.

During the emergency situation such as cardiac arrest, cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) is the most important treatment to maintain patient's blood circulation. Since the quality of CPR can not be easily measured or evaluated by the eye, an assistive device with an accelerometer can help to assess the pressure depth of CPR. In this study, we propose a single frequency analysis method to reduce the error of the accelerometer by extracting only one frequency component from the Fourier transform process. To verify the effectiveness of the single frequency analysis, acceleration data at CPR conditions were measured at a sampling rate of 50 / sec using a wristband equipped with an acceleration sensor. Then, We compared the existing distance estimation method and the single frequency analysis method using the measured data. The amplitude value proportional to the compression depth was obtained by applying the single frequency analysis method.
