시설 보호 아동의 또래관계 증진을 위한 사회적 역량 프로그램의 효과

The program implemented in this study consisted of 4 parts : positive self perception, understanding and expression of emotion, communication skills, and interpersonal problem solving competence. Implementation took place once a week In 12 60-90 minutes sessions. The subjects were 33 11- to 13- year old children residing in 2 institutions similar to each other. The experimental group consisted of 11 boys and 7 girls and control group of 7 boys and 8 girls, respectively. Implementation was bracketed by pre- and post-tests. After the 12 weeks intervention program, there were significant differences between the experimental and control groups. The experimental group improved in social and communication skills. Both the experimental and control group didn`t improve in self-esteem.

이 연구는 시설 청소년의 발달과 적응에 영향을 미치는 자아 및 환경 지각을 구체적으로 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울시 소재 11개의 육아시설에 거주하는 만 11세와 만 14세 101명의 청소년을 대상으로 투사검사의 일종인 문장완성검사를 실시하였다. 연구 대상자의 반응을 내용 분석하여 시설 청소년의 현실자아와 이상 자아에 대한 지각과, 1차적 환경 맥락인 가족 환경, 학교 환경, 또래환경에 대한 지각을 살펴보았다. 또한 양적인 통계방법을 사용하여 연령 및 성별에 따른 시설 청소년의 자아 및 환경지각을 규명하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 시설 청소년들은 현재와 미래의 자신의 모습에 대해서 상당히 긍정적인 지각을 하고 있었다. 둘째, 시설 청소년들은 가족환경, 학교환경 및 또래환경에 대해서도 전반적으로 긍정적인 지각을 나타내었다. 셋째, 시설 보호 여자 청소년의 현실 자아에 대한 지각이 시설 보호 남자 청소년보다 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 시설 보호 남자청소년은 시설 보호 여자 청소년보다 또래에 대해 긍정적으로 지각하였다. 다섯째, 연령이 높은 집단의 시설 청소년들이 학교 환경에 대해 더 부정적으로 지각하였으며, 학교환경에 대한 하위 영역 중 특히 학업에 대한 지각이 높은 연령 집단에서 더 부정적인 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 중심으로 연구의 시사점과 시설 청소년을 위한 지원이 논의되었다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception about self and environment among institutionalized adolescents. The subject were 101 adolescents aged 11 & 14 years, who were enrolled in 11 child welfare facilities in Seoul. Adolescent`s per -ception about self and environment was measured by‘Sentence Completion Test’. According to the results, institutionalized adolescent s seemed to have comparatively positive perception about real self, ideal self, family environment, school environment, and peer environment. Girls perceived more positively about real self than boys, whereas boys perceived more positively about peer environment than girls. Older group showed more negative perception about school environment than younger group, and especially for study. The findings of this study suggest that various programs should be provided to support institutionalized adolescents` development, and that concerns should be directed toward improving the quality of environment for institutionalized adolescents.

This study examined the relation between mother-child verbal interaction strategies and children`s narrative competence. Forty-eight 4-year-old middle class children(25 girls and 23 boys) and their mothers were observed in their homes. All the children were asked to produce a new story. Mothers used more descriptive statements and questions, more inferential questions and more evaluative questions than children. Children gave more answers and used more negative feedback than mothers. Mother`s use of high-mental demanded question and positive feedback strategies were positively correlated with children`s level of narrative structure. Mothers` use of inferential and evaluative questions were positively correlated with narrative length. Children`s use of high-mental demanded statements and positive feedback strategies were positively correlated with their level of narrative structure and their use of descriptive and high-mental demanded strategies were positively correlated with narrative length.
시설청소년과 일반청소년의 사회적지지 지각과 공격성간의 관계

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation of social support and aggression of early adolescents. The subject were 220 adolescents aged 11 & 14 years, who were enrolled 11 child welfare facilities or 6 public schools(3 elementary & 3 middle schools) in Seoul. That is, 110 institutionalized(IA) & 110 middle class home-reared adolescent (HA)s were examined. They subjects were asked to complete the questionnaire on social support and aggression. According to the results, 1)IAs perceived less support from peers or adults and showed more aggressive behaviors than HAs. 2)Significant sex difference was observed in aggression. Girls showed lower level of aggression than boys. 3)Adolescents' aggression was significantly correlated with social support. The more support from friends, classmates, and parents HAs perceive, the less aggression they reported. Though support from peers was correlated significantly only with anger expression, support from parents was correlated significantly with all the components of aggression. And the more support from friends and classmates IAs perceive, the less aggression they reported. These findings implicate that social support is a important factor in preventing aggressive behaviors of early adolescents.
