AGCS is a technology that enables to increase vehicle stability by increase rear-wheel toe at a high speed cornering. The Actuator of existing AGCS has to be big because the system works against the side force. This is a factor of rising cost and makes AGCS optional system of high trim level. In order to improve this, AGCS- is decided to Ⅱ develop by reducing cost through optimization of mechanism.
촉매코팅 DPF의 Soot loading에 따른 압력강하와 열전달에 관한 실험적 연구

When soot particles are loaded in a diesel particulate filter, the filter causes increase of back pressure in exhaust system. To minimize pressure drop due to DPF, the filter must be regenerated when it collects a certain quantity of soot. It is a crucial topic to estimate a correct amount of loaded soot measured by pressure drop. This study presents characteristics of pressure drop according to amount of soot loading in a DPF. Furthermore, characteristic of heat transfer in a DPF is another major parameter to avoid thermal crack during regeneration period. This study also determined heat transfer characteristics in a filter when a high temperature gas flows into DPF. Several tests were performed in DPF samples that have different amount of catalyst coating. Experimental results indicated that amount of catalyst coating has no strong influences on pressure drop. However, increased catalyst coating may lead to an improvement of heat transfer that is helpful to reduce thermal stress.
