한국어교육에서 문장부호 교육의 필요성과 교육 방향에 대한 연구 - 외국 문장부호와의 비교를 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to investigate the necessity for teaching punctuation in Korean language education and to suggest an efficient direction for teaching punctuation. Punctuation, which reveal the structure of a sentence and convey the writer's intention, are very important in written Korean. However, it is not covered as educational content in Korean language education. Therefore, this study compared and reviewed the punctuation rules in Korean and other languages and discussed why it is necessary to teach punctuation in Korean language education and how it should be taught in Korean language education. This study can be meaningful in that it has developed a discussion on teaching punctuation, to which not much attention has been paid in the Korean language education.
