‘오페라읽기’ 수강 전후(前後)의 음악에 대한 태도 및 자기인식 비교

This study compared undergraduate student' self-awareness & attitude about music before and after 'Reading Opera' take. Subjects were 107 students at university in Jollanam-do. The survey used a questionnaires including 4 variables, self-awareness & attitude about music, musical involvement and changes of understanding opera music. To determine the level of understanding of the changes in the opera music was only for the last time to respond to applicants open ended questionnaire. Data analysis was used as the SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) for windows 18.0 statistic Package. Frequency & descriptive statistic analysis for research problems set, 'Reading Opera' take the T-test was conducted to know the difference before and after. The musical involvement before and after taking 'Reading Opera' there was a significant difference(t=3.90, p<.001). Differences were observed in mean scores before and after 'Reading Opera'. The difference of musical emotion was a significant difference(t=4.13, p<.001) in the character formation variables did not show a difference. Classical music is a difference in the level of understanding of the significant differences(t=3.82, p<.001) in personality formation . The self-awareness about difficulty of opera music before and after taking 'Reading Opera' there was a significant difference(t=3.69, p<.001). In addition, students could bring a change of thinking carefully such that broaden the understanding level for the opera. In the future, the university needs to take liberal lectures about music and have to be developed and can get to know the various music program including opera music. 본 연구는 ‘오페라읽기’ 교과목을 이수한 대학생들을 대상으로 수강 전후(前後) 음악에 대한 자기인식과 태도를 비교한 것이다. 인구통계학적인 변인, 음악적 관여도, 음악에 대한 태도와 자기인식을 조사하기위한 5점 리커트형의 질문지를 이용하여 조사하였으며 분석 가능한 107명의 응답 자료를 통계 분석하였다. 오페라 음악에 대한 이해수준의 변화를 알기 위해서는 한 학기 강의가 모두 끝난 후에 희망자에 한하여 자유 기술형(open ended question) 질문지에 응답하도록 하였다. 자료 분석 방법으로는 SPSS(Statistic Package for the Social Science) for windows 18.0 통계 Package를 이용하였으며 설정한 연구문제를 위해 빈도분석(Frequencies), 기술통계 분석(descriptive statistics), ‘오페라읽기’ 수강 전 후의 차이는 T-test를 통해 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 오페라읽기’ 수강 전과 후 음악적 관여도 변인에서는 유의미한 차이(t=3.90, p<.001)가 있었다. 음악적 정서 변인에서는 차이를 보이지 않았고 인격형성 변인에 있어서는 의미 있는 차이(t=4.13, p<.001)가 나타났다. 클래식음악에 대한 이해수준 변인에서는 의미 있는 차이가 나타나지 않았으나 인격형성변인에서는 의미 있는 차이(t=3.82, p<.001)가 있었다. 오페라 음악에 대한 자기인식 변인에서는 의미 있는 차이가 나타나지 않았고 오페라는 어렵다고 하는 자기인식 변인에 있어서만 의미 있는 차이(t=3.69, p<.001)가 나타났다. 또 ‘오페라읽기’를 수강한 학생들은 오페라에 대한 이해수준을 넓히고 있는 등 조심스럽게 생각의 변화를 가져오고 있었다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 대학교에서는 교양 강의들을 잘 활용하여 음악을 자주 접할 수 있는 기회를 갖도록 할 필요가 있고 오페라 음악을 포함하여 다양한 음악과 친해질 수 있는 프로그램들이 지속적으로 개발되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

현대 오페라 ‘해변의 아인슈타인’의 무대의상에 관한 연구

Modern opera "Einstein on the beach" was first performed at the Avignon Festival in France in 1976. After about 40 years later, this opera was performed as opening program of AAT(Asian Arts Theatre) in Gwangju, South Korea. Opera "Einstein on the beach" can be described as a very meaningful work as prescribed season program to celebrate the opening of the Asian Art Theatre. This study intended to research on the stage costumes of the modern opera "Einstein on the beach" shown in Asian Arts Theatre of Gwangju in 2015. First, it was investigated on theoretical information and artists on the opera "Einstein on the beach". And also investigated historical background of the 1970s fashion trends. Take the social issues were in the 1970s, and their influence was noted that changes in fashion trends of the 1970s. In particular, it were investigated 'baggy pants' and its symbolism on the stage the opera "Einstein on the beach" process. Based on the theoretical consideration, it was studied the symbolism and distinctive expression of the "Einstein on the beach" stage costume and summarized the meaning of the opera "Einstein on the beach" stage costume. On the stage of opera "Einstein on the beach", symbolic characteristics were well reflected. And there was a trend of fashion trends can be also see minimalism. Especially at the time, influenced by the emergence of the concept of gender equality, unisex style can be seen that this fashion trend is also reflected the stage costumes. It could be confirmed the adoption costumes of historical eclecticism. This production, "Einstein on the beach : world tour from 2012 to 2015", would be forever discard after the last stage of Gwangju. Therefore, the results of this study are considered to make the data meaningful to the stage production, including the future of stage costumes planning. 현대오페라 ‘해변의 아인슈타인’은 1976년 프랑스의 아비뇽음악제에서 처음 공연되었고 그로부터 약 40년 후에 국립아시아문화전당 개막공연으로 한국의 광주를 찾았다. 아시아문화중심도시로 거듭나고자 하는 지역의 열망을 담아 예술극장의 개관을 기념하는 시즌프로그램으로 선정된 매우 의미 있는 작품이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 2015년 광주 아시아 예술극장에서의 오페라 ‘해변의 아인슈타인’이 보여준 무대의상에 대하여 연구하고자 한 것이다. 우선 오페라 ‘해변의 아인슈타인’을 만든 예술가들과 오페라 전반에 관한 내용 및 1970년대 당시의 시대적 배경과 패션 트렌드에 대하여 고찰하였다. 1970년대에 있었던 사회적인 이슈들과 이들의 영향을 받아 변화했던 1970년대의 패션 트렌드에 주목하였고 특히 오페라 ‘해변의 아인슈타인’의 전 4막이 진행되는 동안 무대에 계속 등장하였던 ‘배기팬츠(baggy pants)’와 그 상징성에 대하여도 고찰하였다. 이와 같은 이론적 고찰을 바탕으로 오페라 ‘해변의 아인슈타인’ 무대의상의 특징적인 표현들을 조사 연구하여 오페라 ‘해변의 아인슈타인’ 무대의상의 의미를 정리하였다. 오페라 ‘해변의 아인슈타인’에서는 1970년대 당시의 상징주의적 특성(symbolic characteristics)이 잘 반영되었고, 당시 대세였던 미니멀리즘(minimalism)의 패션 트렌드도 확인할 수 있었다. 또 당시에는 여성의 사회진출이 활발해지면서 등장한 양성평등의 개념에 영향을 받아 유니섹스 스타일(unisex style)이 유행하였는데 이러한 패션 트렌드 또한 무대의상에 그대로 반영되었음을 알 수 있었다. 전 막을 통하여 역사적 절충주의(historic eclectism)의 무대의상을 채택하였음도 확인할 수 있었다. 2012년부터 2015년까지 월드투어를 진행하면서 광주의 마지막 무대를 끝으로 영원히 폐기된다는 상황에서의 본 연구 결과는 앞으로의 오페라 무대의상 기획 및 무대 연출에 의미 있는 자료가 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

지역문화축제행사로서의 패션쇼 기획에 관한 사례 연구

This study is to research and present cases about successful and unique fashion show planning which has been frequently a part of recent local festivals to promote development of the regions according to revitalization of local culture festivals. In general this study is about planning on new styles of fashion show at local culture festivals, which cultivates new ideas based on regional history. Indigenous products and cultural items as a whole, draws residents' participation and develops unique stories suited for characteristics of local culture festivals. Accordingly, this study looks into festivals, dress and ornaments at festivals and literatures concerning local culture festivals and fashion shows. Based on these findings, it presents fashion show planning as a local culture event. In other words, the study includes research and development of overall cultural aspects related with fashion show planning. It also provides participation plans for people involved such as residents, event participants, audience and experts. To this end, researchers took an empirical study centered on Fashion Show at Youngsan River Festival in Naju City. This study discusses the following major points. First, fashion show planning for local culture events should contribute to improvement of festivals by adopting historical background of the region and indigenous products, and raising values and artistry of them. Second, fashion show planning should reflect current trends and make the most use of mass media. In addition, it should take stories which contain historical facts as well as cultural aspects with creativity. Third, fashion show should be planned to offer high quality cultural experiences to every participant at local culture festivals. It is expected that this study will provide useful sources for all people concerned in local culture festivals, experts on fashion show as a local culture event, professionals on fashion show planning and ordinary people who have an interest in this subject.

'Art to Wear'전시에 나타난 국내외 의상의 유형별 분석 연구 -광주비엔날레 국제미술 의상전시회를 중심으로-

The costume has to developing with the infinite possibilities of expression as representing to aesthetic consciousness and psychology of our contemporaries. It become more important in the culture. Especially, aesthetic movement create various forms of costume and continue to grow in the early 20th century which art included the costume. Since the mid-19th century, 'Aesthetic Movement' propose a new concept of art including costume. people are interested in the phenomenon of ‘Art to Wear Movement' from the late 1960s to 1970s with America as the center. 'The international art to wear' exhibited in the Gwangju biennale for 5 times over the last decade. The interest of 'Art to wear' spread into many related organizations and exhibition was rapidly grow. I was faithful to continuing role in Gwangju biennale 'The international art to wear ' and feel the need to research for the 'The international art to wear' which was representing to movement of the 'Art to wear' on the international stage. In this study, I analyzed into types for the meaning and art works. The exhibition consisted of art work which was emphasized central aspect of the theme and divided in to two types which were wearable and unwearable. The concept of 'Art to wear' was in the main theme of the biennale exhibition. In this research, I found out the relation with development of American or Europe and change of the aesthetic value of a sculpture, symbolism and image by exhibitions. The costume as an art, 'Art to wear' is the art work which take position near human body. It is basically identical with paintings or sculpture to display on the wall and appreciate art. Follow advanced cultural country, costume is one of important product display both in the showcase and art gallery or museum. In Korea, it is our expectation that costume related exhibition will held in the museum and gallery frequently. From this research, I look forward to massive development in field of 'Art to Wear' and to create with specialist and interest for 'Art to Wear'. 현대인들의 미의식과 심리를 반영하는 다양한 표현수단으로서, 문화적 중요성이 더욱 커지고 있는 의상은 무한한 표현의 가능성을 가지고 발전하고 있다. 특히 20세기 초 의상을 포함시켜 이루어졌던 예술분야의 많은 움직임들이 의상을 다양한 형태로 계속 발전시켜왔다고 할 수 있다. 19세기 중반 영국에서 시작된 'Aesthetic Movement'는 의상을 포함한 예술에 대한 새로운 개념을 제시하였고, 1960년대 후반에서 1970년대에는 미국을 중심으로 ‘Art to Wear Movement'현상이 관심을 받게 되었다. 우리나라에서는 순수미술의상행사인 광주비엔날레(1995-현재)에서 ’국제미술의상전시회‘가 10년 동안 5회에 걸쳐 개최된 바 있다. 이를 계기로 예술 의상에 대한 관심이 확산되어 관련단체와 전시회가 급속하게 늘어나게 되었다. 광주비엔날레 ’국제미술의상전시회‘에서 지속적인 역할을 담당해온 본 연구자는 한국에서의 ’Art to Wear'에 대한 관심의 시발점이자 수도권을 중심으로 한 다른 지역, 또 국제무대에서 한국의 ’Art to Wear'의 움직임을 보여준 광주비엔날레 국제미술의상전시회에 대한 연구가 필요하다고 판단되어 그 의미와 출품작품들에 대한 유형별 분석을 하였다. 광주비엔날레 ‘국제미술의상전시회’는 미술행사인 본전시의 주제에 맞추어 의상의 예술적인 측면을 강조한 작품들이 주류를 이루며 Wearable과 Unwearable의상이 함께 전시되었다. Art to Wear의 Item이나, Silhouette, Material은 비엔날레 전시주제와 그 맥락을 같이 하였고 출품된 Art to wear작품의 조형성, 상징성 및 Image에서도 전시 차수에 따른 변화는 물론, 유럽 또는 미국의 예술 의상의 발달과 서로 관련성이 있음을 파악할 수 있었다. 예술로서의 의상, 'Art to wear'는 벽에 걸어놓고 감상하는 회화나 조각 작품처럼 인체와 가장 가까이 위치하는 예술품의 하나로도 볼 수 있었다. 의상도 상품의 진열장에서 뿐 아니라 미술관 또는 박물관에서 전시되는 중요한 예술품의 하나인 문화선진국의 예처럼, 우리나라에서도 앞으로 많이 확충이 될 박물관과 및 갤러리에서 예술의상 관련 전시회가 빈번하게 이루어질 것으로 예견된다. 따라서 이 연구를 계기로 ‘Art to Wear’에 대한 많은 관심과 전문가의 탄생으로 ‘Art to Wear’분야의 더욱 큰 발전을 기대한다.

대학생들의 음악에 대한 관심, 음악을 통한 정서변화 및 음악활동에 관한 조사 연구

음악은 인류의 시작과 함께 존재했으며 인류 역사에서 음악이 없었던 인간 사회는 없었다. 이러한 음악의 특성은 음악에 전문적으로 관여된 사람이나 그렇지 않은 사람 모두에게 관심의 대상이 아닐 수 없을 것이다. 또 음악에 대하여는 지금까지 수 없이 많은 사람들에 의해 인간생활에서의 음악의 중요성과 여러 가지 기능은 물론 음악이 인간에게 주는 기쁨과 희열에 대하여 다양한 시각에서 논하여 오고 있다. 그러나 음악을 잘 알고 또 이해하여 인간생활에 이롭게 되기까지는 어느 정도의 노력이 필요하다. 우선 사람들의 음악에 대한 전반적인 생각과 활동에 관한 정확한 실태를 파악하는 것이 중요하다고 본다. 한편 대학은 자유로우면서도 다양한 접근이 가능하고 또 가장 일반적인 대중성을 가진 시기라고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 실태 조사를 통해 음악 경험, 음악 감상, 음악 연주 등의 다양한 음악활동을 파악하기에 적절한 시점이라고 본다. 따라서 본 연구는 대학생들의 음악에 관련된 생각과 활동들을 조사하고자 한다. 학문을 익히는 것과 동시에 사회성을 배워가는 대학 생활에서 음악에 대한 관심과 음악을 통한 정서변화 및 음악활동 경험의 실태에 대하여 설문 조사하고 이를 분석하여 논의하고자 하였다. 조사 분석 결과, 대학생에게 음악은 매우 중요한 것으로 그들의 생활에 지대한 영향을 끼치고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 대학생들의 음악활동들은 정신적인 그리고 정서적 측면에서 그 영향력이 큰 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 대학생들에게 음악활동은 단순한 여가 활동을 넘어 정신적, 사회적 그리고 도덕적적 가치를 가진다고 인정하고 있었다. 이러한 측면에서 대학 입학 이후 대학생들의 음악 활동은 심신의 안정 및 다양한 사회성을 향상시키는 대 일정한 역할을 수행할 수 있다고 본다. 대학 생활을 하는 동안 전문적인 전공에 대한 학습뿐만 아니라 음악관련 수업, 음악활동 등을 통해 교양의 수준을 높일 수 있는 욕구가 있다는 사실을 잘 보여주는 결과이다. 따라서 바람직한 음악 감상 방법이나 공연관람과 같은 적극적인 음악 관여의 기회를 만들어서 자주 접하게 한다면 음악으로부터 많은 정서적 혜택을 얻을 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 생각된다. 대학교에서는 음악 관련 교양 강의들을 잘 활용할 필요가 있고 바람직한 내용으로 전개할 필요가 있다고 본다. 이와 함께 가정 또는 사회에서도 지속적으로 음악과 가까이 할 수 있는 문화적 교육적 프로그램 개발과 아울러 관련 정책의 연구와 지원이 매우 절실하다고 본다. Music is always be together since the beginning of mankind. In that musical quality, all the people whether they are engaged in music or not, are interested in music. For that kind of reason, people discuss not only the importance and variety functions of music but also the joy with differing perspective. However, it requires much effort to be beneficial for human life through understanding of music. College life in the music associated with a wide range of cultural activities are free and can be accessed. also because of its common popularity, it is time to give effective direction for a variety of music activities such as music experience listening to music, playing music on the exact survey through overall thoughts and activities for students of music. The study intend to do the research about the opinion and activities on music of university student. It conducted a questionnaire survey of overall music such as attention of music, emotional changes through music and experience of music activities in college life which makes the student to learn both professional majors and socialization. The analysis shows that the music is very important for university student. They are affected a lot in their life by music. Especially music activities of university student influenced in their mental health and emotional stable. Also, it places a value on psychology, social and morality over leisure activities in their mind. In this aspect, music activity of university student plays a certain role to relax their physically and mentally and to improve their sociality. The survey prove the student is being desired to increase the level of refinement through activities, such as music-related lessons, music learning as well as learned professional majors during college life. Therefore teaching how to listen to music properly or giving a chance to musical activity frequently, it will be good opportunity to get emotional benefits from music. There is a need to make good use of music-related educated lectures that need to be deployed to the desirable content. For this, home or in society, constantly be closer to the music and the development of cultural and educational programs, as well as related research and policy support is very urgent need.
