The purpose of this study is to analyze composition of multipurpose space at modernized elementary school in Busan. The results of this analysis indicate the followings; 1)The multipurpose space, multipurpose hall and audio-visual room in resent years is organized at almost schools. 2)The area of multipurpose space is 40㎡-50㎡ per and their depth os gradually increasing over 6m. 3)The multipurpose space which are located parallel to each classroom and separated by movable partition is most common type in modernized elementary schools.

The quality of the physical environment of public schools is one of the most important factors in the making of better society and human development. It is widely accepted that the school agegroups (especially elementary schools) are most sensitive and responsive to their physical environment in their environment behavior interactions. However, the standardized school designs which have been recommended or regulated by the goverment's institutional generalization-standard rules used to be stereotyped and fall short of local variation and possibilities of environmental design innovation. The objective of this study is to develop on the methodology for user participation in a public school design process.
아파트 住居者의 入浴패턴과 衛生空間의 空間 構成慾求에 관한 硏究

Accroding to the diversity of life, the demand of each kind space is increasing in apartment, but, owing to the limits of space itself, many problems are being exposed. That is to say, the result of preceding many study, the sanitary space has been reporting strong discontentment. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to present direction of plan for the new sanitary space composition by the analysis of current problem accroding to the unification of three space, washing space, bathing space and toilet.
誘導 된 敗血症 모델에서 Aprotinin 과 Insulin 이 iNOS m-RNA 에 미치는 영향

Background : Nitric oxide(NO) has been known to have antimicrobial activity, and the increased NO production in case of sepsis may play as a physiologic defense mechanism. However the increased formation of NO by the inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS) has been known to be implicated in pathophysiology of a variety of disease, including circulatory and septic shock. We measured the iNOS activities of mouse macrophage after application of various drugs with lipopolysaccharide(LPS) and γ-interferon(IFN). The purpose of this study is to evaluate the inhibiting properties of various drugs to iNOS in case of sepsis. Method : Thirty ICR(Institue for Cancer Research) mouse weighting 30∼40 gm were anesthetized with diethyl ether, and thiogycol broth was injected into peritoneal cavity. Two days later macrophages were collected from peritoneal cavity, and incubated for 24 hours in the CO2 incubator with LPS and IFN mixture and various concentration of dexamethasone, pentoxifylline, aspirin, aprotinin, regular insun(RI) and neutral protamine hagedorn insulin(NPH). NO concentration were calculating by measuring nitrite concentration which represent the magnitude of NO production. The activities of iNOS in macrophages were measured by analysing iNOS m-RNA expression by Northern blot analysis with autoradiography using polymerase chain reaction(PCR) method. Result : The basic NO concentration was 13.0 8.0 M. With LPS and IFN, NO concentration was increased to 104.4 31.9 M. The increase in NO production by LPS and IFN was attenuated by dexamethasone(10 6 M only), pentoxifylline(above 10 10 M), aprotinin, RI, and NPH in dose dependent manner. The addition of LPS and IFN in the culture media caused increase in the iNOS m-RNA production. The aprotinin, RI, and NPH attenuated the increase in iNOS m-RNA production by LPS and IFN. Coclusion : These results suggest that the aprotinin, RI, and NPH prevent the LPS and IFN induced increase of NO production by attenuating the iNOS activity. These properties of aprotinin and insulin may be applied to the treatment of septic shock to block the enhanced formation of NO production. (Korean J Anesthesiol 1998; 34: 1086∼1096)
대학캠퍼스계획의 기본방향에 관한연구 : 공간계획의 경향을 중심으로 With Reference to Recent Trend in Space Planning

This study is on basic patterns required for University campus planning. The conclusions are as follows : 1) University campus planning should be designed in accordance with such factor as characteristics and environmental, conditions of each university and once completed space will work as an important element which determince the character of the university. 2) Space program is a necessarily condition to create a good campus and therefore it is flexibility should be given full consideration and progressively reviewed. 3) It seems that the building site area required to provide better education and study environment is over 100M² per a student. The average of total construction area is found to be 16M². 4) The approximate ratios of education facility, education supporting facility, auxiliary education supporting facility and other supporting facility are found to be 55%, 19%, 20% and 7% respectively. 5) The building area of colleges of natural science party are around 12M² per a student and that of colleges of cultural science party, around 6M² per a student.
