In this study, an experiment of VTR feedback effect on skill acquisition was made to enhance university activity classes based on video image analysis of forehand stroke technique in tennis. We investigated the change of recognition degree and satisfaction degree with P.E. activity classes. Subjects who participated in the experiment were 52 students in two groups, 9 in experimental group and 43 in control group. And in order to compare the effects between traditional learning method with the effect of learning method using VTR feedback, we selected 19 students out of 52 students 9 in experimental group and 10 in control group. The conclusions were 1. there was no significant differences in form score of each phase between the experimental group and the control group 2. there were no significant differences in form scores of the whole phases between the two groups. 3. the experimental group showed higher recognition degree and satisfaction degree with P.E. activity class than the control group. 4. the experimental group have showed high recognition degree and satisfaction degree with the video image analysis method.

The purpose of the present study was to develop a biomechanical teaching method to enhance the value of P.E. activity class, and to estimate the usefulness of applying computer video image analysis as a mean of experimental tool to activity classes open in the university. Subjects were selected from one of basketball classes and performed free throw motion as the task. The procedures of data collection and analysis for the study were as follow. 1. Record the video image of free throw motion of the subjects. 2. Analyze a free throw motion of each subject with video tape. 3. Captured each image through Window-Vision software. 4. Edit the captured image files by Image Folio LE program. 5. Give feedback to the subjects as imidiate as possible. 6. Repeat from 1 to 5 two times, and give questionnaire to the subjects at the end of semester. 7. Analyze Questionnaire data using SAS package. Firstly, through this study the subjects were satisfied with biomechanical teaching method, especially with individual coaching and recognition degree that helped skill acquisition. Secondly, the subjects have learned concrete principles related to physical activities. Based on the above results, students were stimulated with motion analysis used in the present study and they wanted this coaching aid in other activity classes. It can be conclued that motion analysis method with video image will be an effective teaching method to enhance the quality of P.E. activity class.
