Selective Attention in L1 Korean and L2 English Sentence Listening as Reflected by Word Recall

In this study, we investigated second language learners’ attentional patterns in native (L1) and nonnative (L2) language processing as reflected in the grammatical and positional properties of words that they recalled after listening to a group of sentences. Ninety Korean high school students at three different L2 English proficiency levels listened to a list of unrelated sentences and then wrote down all the words that they could recall. It was found that the participants recalled nouns most frequently in both L1 and L2 sentences. The tendency was much greater in L2 listening than in L1 listening. Most notably, advanced learners were better able to recall verbs than lower-level groups while differences in the other categories were not very significant. Moreover, advanced learners tended to substitute semantically related ones for the target words, but less proficient learners more often supplied phonetically similar variants. These results provide support for the idea that L2 learners’ attentional patterns considerably vary as a function of proficiency, and so awareness raising and focused practice can facilitate their adaptation of attention required for the development of L2 listening ability.

The purposes of this study was to examine the present situation of merchandise assortment and informations in internet fashion shopping mall. Merchandise assortment dimensions were width and depth. Merchandise assortment factors for apparel were style, size, and color. Merchandise informations were investigated using price and fabric contents. The data were collected from 11 internet fashion site to investigate styles, colors, sizes, price and fabric contents. The data analysed with frequency, crosstab analysis, χ^2-test. The results were as follow: 1. Upper items(37.5%) as T, knits, shirts, and blouses were offered more style than bottom items(13.5%) as skirts, pants. 2. The 36.4% of styles offered one color. Basic color as black, white, grey, beige, ivory was 38.1%. 3. The 54.4% of merchandises carried same size. 4. Fiber contents was made up of cotton(44.2%), hemp & rayon(22.5%), and synthetic (33.3%). 5. The 75.1% of merchandise was relatively low price of below 50,000 won, the 24.9% of merchandise was rather high price of more than 50,000 won.
블렌디드 러닝을 적용한 수업 실천 연구 - 일본어 문법 수업을 중심으로 -

This thesis is to apply blended learning to Japanese grammar classes, conduct a class satisfaction survey, and verify its effectiveness. In order to achieve learning objectives under non-face-to-face online learning environments, classes were designed by integrating learning environments, time, methods, contents, levels, etc. When it comes to class operation, students submitted their assignments after taking the pre-recorded video-based classes in the first stage and debated with their classmates on Zoom, a live streaming platform, in a small meeting room in the second stage. After debating with classmates, they had a discussion and feedback time with their teacher. In the third stage, they conducted a peer evaluation after classes, arranged their assignments again and completed one week of classes. A survey was conducted to evaluate the satisfaction of classes conducted according to the above design and operating method. The satisfaction with all classes was very positive: The average satisfaction was higher than 4.6 in the class satisfaction, academic achievement, and learning tool survey. However, when it comes to the opinions of learners, negative was the evaluation result of assignment difficulty and peer-to-peer debates. Therefore, it is thought that it is necessary to compensate for the problems of classes, supplement differentiated learning materials for learners and devise plans to allow learners to actively participate in collaborative learning. 본고는 일본어 문법 수업에 블렌디드 러닝을 적용하여 수업을 진행한 후 수업 만족도 조사를 실시하여 수업의 효과를 검증하였다. 비대면 온라인 학습 환경에서 학습 목표를 달성하기 위해 학습 환경, 학습 시간, 학습 방법, 학습 내용, 학습 수준 등을 통합하여 수업을 설계하였다. 수업 운영은 1단계로 사전 녹화 동영상 수업 후 과제를 제출하고, 2단계에서는 실시간 ZOOM 플랫폼을 이용하여 소회의실에게 동료와 토론을 진행하였다. 동료와의 토론 후 교수자와의 토론 및 피드백 시간을 가졌다. 3단계에서는 수업 종료 후 동료 평가를 실시하고 과제를 다시 정리하는 것으로 1주간의 수업을 완료하였다. 이상의 수업 설계 및 운영 방식으로 진행된 수업의 만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 수업 만족도, 학업 성취도, 수업 도구 조사에서 모두 평균 4.6 이상의 만족도를 보여 전체 수업에 대한 만족도는 매우 긍정적이었다. 그러나 학습자의 의견 중 과제의 난이도 및 동료 간 토론의 어려움에 관한 부정적 평가가 있었다. 금후 본 수업의 문제점을 보완하여 학습자에게 수준별 학습 자료를 보완하고 협력 학습에 적극적으로 참여할 수 있는 방안을 강구하고자 한다.

Meaning of expressive words on the beauty of clothing is to comprehend inclusively with subjectivity and sensitivity. Suppose that meaning of the words was analysed, the study would be found type structural through a type of meaning component and inner reciprocity of elements. Category in the Beauty of Clothing was to consider various languages on beauty of clothing as the concept of the type. The purpose of this study was to clarify the concept structure of Categories in the Beauty of Clothing. In this paper 'Chic' and 'Dandism' were analyzed. As the result of the study, it is constructed at three different dimensions. They were the Beauty of phenomenone such as surface level, the Beauty of essence such as element level, and the Beauty of process that existed between the surface level and the element level. In addition, the idea words of each dimension were as follows; The Beauty of phenomenone was expressed 'refinement', 'wisdom' and 'originality'. The Beauty of essence was included 'subtlely', 'grace', and 'sence/reason'. The Beauty of process was included the method of 'harmony' and 'proficiency'.
