        Relationship among differences in the jump performances depending on sports

        The height of the vertical jump is a common indicator that allows for the evaluation of the net thrust of the lower extremities. Additionally, the foot movements during count movement jump(CMJ) and repletion jump(RJ) are mechanically different. Therefore, this study aims to provide basic data related to differences in the jump performances for CMJ or RJ depending on sport events. The study participants included 47 men and 33 women. Men’s events were handball(n=24), softball(n=11), and track(n=12), and women’s events were volleyball(n=20), track(n=7), and fencing(n=6). In this study, two types of jump motions were measured: CMJ or RJ. For all jumps, the hands were positioned near the back to prevent arm-waving motions. Ball players need to run, throw, jump, etc., during the game. Sometimes these movements require explosive exertions of great force, and sometimes they require rapid speed. As such, many abilities are needed in ball sports in general. It is also believed that sex differences in the study were characterized as above. These results were thought to reflect, in a sense, the characteristics of ball games. In this study, there were no significant differences in jump performances between the races.

        16주간의 다이어트관리가 성인 여성의 신체 구성과 BMI에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a 16 weeks diet management program on body composition and BMI in adult women. The management will conduct exercise management for 510 people who participated in the diet program for 16 weeks from September 6, 2015 to January 6, 2016 twice a week for one week and 60 minutes for one week. The results were as follows. First, there was a significant difference between the normal weight group and the high obesity group except the low - weight group. Second, in the variation of BMI, the weight loss decreased more effectively and stably as the BMI was higher. Especially, decrease of body fat and BMI was significant. Therefore, this dietary management program has been shown to be effective on dieting by significantly reducing the body fat rate for each 16 weeks, and it is thought that the decrease of the abdominal fat rate positively influences the prevention of the metabolic syndrome.

        12주간의 고강도 인터벌 트레이닝이 대학 레슬링선수의 유산소운동능력 및 혈중젖산농도 변화에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of studying this was to investigate the effects of hight-intensity interval training during 12 weeks on VO₂max and changes in blood lactate levels after exercise and recovery in university wrestlers. The subjects of this study were 9 wrestlers was conducted HIIT three times a week. After 12week, VO₂max increased to be significant around 4.9% from 46.22±5.63 to 48.81±6.18(p<.049). Looking at the changes of blood lactic acid after HIIT, without immediately after exercise, differences of this result was not significant(Rasting: 0.93±0.71-1.14±0.81(.072), (Recovery 10min:6.52±2.06-5.89±2.3(.132). (Recovery 30min:2.46±.63-2.31±.65(.082). However, Immediately after exercise resulted significant from16.58±2.7 to 17.3±2.82(.024).

        유아의 기초운동기술 성취율 분석

        This study has the objective of analyzing the difference between age of children and fundamental motor skill achievement rate and finding out developmental tendency. Study targets were 393 children registered at child education organization located in city G and I in province K (149 at age of 3, 133 at age of 4 ad 111 at age of 5), and fundamental motor skills (movement exercise skill – stepping backward, running on one foot, running with raising knees, running while pushing, standing long jump, stable motion skill – standing on one foot, rotation, spinning like top, avoiding ball, rolling forward, manipulative movement skill – out-throwing ball, throwing ball precisely, bouncing ball, catching ball, kicking ball) achievement rates were measured. The results of this study are as follows. It showed that the children’s fundamental motor skill achievement rate had differences according to the age increase. When you present the age and fundamental motor skill achievement rate of children for each lower level zone, it showed the differences as follows: movement exercise skill achievement rates were 71.8% for age of 3, 85.3% for age of 4 and 95.7% for age of 5, stable motion skill achievement rates were 75.0% for age of 3, 86.4% for age of 4 and 94.1% for age of 5 and manipulative movement skill achievement rates were 33.6% for age of 3, 54.0% for age of 4 and 71.2% for age of 5. When you summarize these, fundamental motor skill achievement rate of children had differences according to the age, movement exercise skill achievement rate and stable motion skill achievement rate were found to be developed showing uniform rate achievement rate according to age increase, and manipulative movement skill achievement rate seems to have the tendency of gradually developing along the age increase slower than movement exercise skill and stable motion skill.

        투기종목 남자 엘리트 선수들의 기능적 움직임 검사 및 도수 근력 겸사와 요통의 상관관계

        This study analyzed the correlation between hip joint position and back pain through Functional movement screen (FMS) and manual muscle test (MMT), Special Test (SPT). Participants of both genders (30 males) were solicited from three combat sports (karate, Wushu and Taekwondo). All correlations produced were p<.05 level of significance. The results for pain awareness through the questionnaire was 3.97±1.54, measured to be ’lightly painful’. The results of the analysis of pain perception and correlation with the FMS of the entire speculative athletes show the pain awareness level in the deep squat (r= -.503, p<.005). with significant correlation, Active Straight leg raise (ASLR) also showed significant correlation with (r= -.689. p<.001). The pain perception and correlation analysis results with Special Test (SPT) and MMT show that significant correlation with pain perception in Straight leg raise (SLR) test (r= .675, p<.001). The results for the correlation analysis of FMS, SPT and MMT first showed significant correlation with the patrick test (r=.399, p<.05), and the Huddle step showed significant correlation with SLR test (r=.580, p<.001).The combined results of this study confirmed the results of the FMS, SPT and MMT, which differ slightly depending on the event, but do not show any significant differences. In addition, a significant correlation between SPT, MMT score and pain awareness was confirmed through the examination of pain awareness, and a number of significant correlation between FMS, SPT and MMT was established. These findings can be used as basic data that can be used to prevent injury and predict back pain of a competitor through FMS at a sports site.

        청소년들의 최대 골량 향상을 위한 운동 가이드라인

        PURPOSE: An increase in bone mineral density during adolescence increases resistance to fractures in older age. The Korean Society for Bone and Mineral Research and the Korean Society of Exercise Physiology developed exercise guidelines to increase the peak bone mass (PBM) in adolescents based on evidence through a systematic review of previous research. METHODS: Articles were selected using the systematic method, and the exercise guidelines were established by selecting key questions (KQs) and defining the effects of exercises based on evidence through a literature review for selecting the final exercise method. There were 9 KQs. An online search was conducted on articles published since 2000, and 93 articles were identified. RESULTS: An increase in PBM in adolescence was effective for preventing osteoporosis and fractures in older age. Exercise programs as part of vigorous physical activity (VPA) including resistance and impact exercise at least 5 to 6 months were effective for improving PBM in adolescents. It is recommended that resistance exercise is performed 10 to 12 rep·set<sup>-1</sup> 1-2 set·region<sup>-1</sup> and 3 days·week<sup>-1</sup> using the large muscles. For impact exercises such as jumping, it is recommended that the exercise is performed at least 50 jumps·min<sup>-1</sup>, 10 min·day<sup>-1</sup>, and 2 days·week<sup>-1</sup>. CONCLUSIONS: Exercise guidelines were successfully developed, and they recommend at least 5 to 6 months of VPA, which includes both resistance and impact exercises. With the development of exercise guidelines, the incidence of osteoporosis and fractures in the aging society can be reduced in the future, thus contributing to improved public health.

        엘리트 여자선수의 FMS™ 측정을 통한 부상 위험도 예측

        This study was conducted on 188 elite female athletes in 16 sports, comparing FMS™ results with other athletes, analyzing body imbalance and risk of injury. The results of the study were as follows. As a result of analyzing the difference in FMS score for each sport, the overall score was low in Hurdle Step and In-Line Lunge. ASLR recorded the highest score without distinction of sport, followed by Shoulder Mobility and Deep Squat. The overall score for each sport was the highest in athletics and the lowest in handball. In addition, the overall score was 14 points or less in all sports except athletics, curling, and wrestling and analyzed the difference in FMS scores for each sport, which showed that the ball sport recorded statistically lower score in Deep Squat compared to other sports. In the In-Line Lunge, individual sports recorded statistically higher scores than other sports and, shoulder Mobility scored statistically lower in combat sports than in other sports except for ball games. In the case of the overall score, winter sports scored the highest among the five sports, ball games recorded the statistically low score. This study result will provide more useful information for the prevention of sports injuries in elite athletes by presenting the relative results of dysfunction according to the asymmetry of athletes in each sport and event.

        한국 루지 선수들의 Start-Finish 기록 및 경기력 요인과의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between luge athletes’ sled driving records and physical fitness factors. Nineteen Korean luge athletes were assessed to verify performance factors related to competition records, including measurements of length, weight and circumference. Additionally, physical fitness, upper strength, anaerobic and isokinetic test were measured. As a result, the male athletes’ start record correlated positively with arm length(r= .630), while female athletes’ finish record correlated negatively with fat rate(r= -.770). Pull-up had a high positive correlation with start record for both male and female(r= .743, r= .764), while sit-up showed a high correlation with finish record for female(r= .883). Also, shoulder extension strength at 60°/sec correlated more strongly than flexion at the same speed. Left shoulder extension strength at 180o/sec showed a high correlation with finish record for both male and female athletes. Furthermore, the multiple regression analysis is related to start and finish records were found to be significantly associated with pull-up, shoulder strength at 180°/sec and sit-up(p<.05). In conclusion, luge athletes’ performance correlates with upper body flexibility, trunk muscular endurance, shoulder and trunk extension strength. Thus, if it is comprised of a training program that can improve upper body strength, power and flexibility, it is thought to be helpful in improving luge athletes performance.
