The vibration control device such as the damper can be used to reinforce the seismic performance of structures. The damper is activated by the deformation of structures during earthquake; however, the deformation of structures is extremely small, causing difficulty in using the damper. Therefore, there is a need for a method capable of amplifying small deformities and transmitting them to the damper. The purpose of this paper is to develop and evaluate a displacement amplification seismic system using cable-pulley. The appropriate cable was selected through a cable tensile performance test and the results of the frame experiment were compared with theoretical displacement amplification ratio values. As a result, it may be said that the proposed system using cable-pulley is useful for displacement amplification.

To overcome the weakness of spread foundation in large space structure, the research of precast pile for replace spread foundation have been conducted. The new type of joint between PHC pile and steel column is named HAT Joint(Hollow hAlf-sphere cast-sTeel Joint). It connected PHC Pile by bolt that verification of bolt connection should be accomplished. In this paper, pull-out test and flexural performance for HAT Joint to verifying the bolt connection is explained. As a result, the pull-out and flexural capacities of bolt were checked to use in real structure. Furthermore, the equation of pull-out strength was proposed.

The purpose of this paper is to understand the key factors for efficient maintenance of rapidly aging facilities. Therefore, the safety inspection/diagnosis reports accumulated in the unstructured data were collected and preprocessed. Then, the analysis was performed using a text mining analysis method. The derived vulnerabilities of tunnel facilities can be used as elements of inspections that take into account the characteristics of individual facilities during regular inspections and daily inspections in the short term. In addition, if detailed specification information and other inspection results(safety, durability, and ease of use) are used for analysis, it provides a stepping stone for supporting preemptive maintenance decision-making in the long term.
공업화박판강구조(PEB)를 위한 Column-Rafter 접합부의 내진성능

The purpose of this research is to develop the seismic reinforcement for PEB structure system and evaluate the seismic performance of PEB frames under cyclic load. The final goal of this research is to propose PEB system as steel ordinary moment frame system. Finite element analysis is performed before the experiment to develop the seismic joint reinforcement details of PEB structure system, called PI joint(π joint). PI joint has two types of joint details. One is tapered plate on the inner flange of rafter and column connection and the other is C-plate on the panel zone combined with tapered plate type. In this paper, the cyclic loading test is performed with three 3/8 scaled down PEB sub-assemblage frame specimen. The seismic performance of the specimens is evaluated by energy dissipation capacity, strength and response modification factor(R factor). As a result, it could be figured out that PEB can be categorized as steel ordinary moment frame and PI joint can enhance the seismic capacity of PEB structure.
