        고려 의서 『향약구급방』의 임상 의학 특징 분석

        Objectives : In this paper, We pointed out medico-historical meaning of Hyang'yak Kugŭppang (鄕藥救急方, Medical Recipes of Local Botanicals for Emergency Use), a medical book of Koryŏ Dynasty, breaking from the existing analysis view based on Hyang'yak (鄕藥), local herbs produced in Korean Peninsula. Methods : For that purpose, we analyzed the clinical characteristics of the diseases and symptoms, strategies of treatment, therapeutic tools, drug formulations, composition of herbal formulas in Hyang'yak Kugŭppang. Results : The following characteristics were confirmed in Hyang'yak Kugŭppang. First, it contained a way to cope with the diseases and symptoms that do not have to check the exterior, interior, cold, and heat. Also, it introduced basic strategies such as reducing, facilitating flow, draining downward, warming, or tonifying, etc. It mainly included herbal medicine as the therapeutic tools, and introduced formulas composed by single herb than complex recipes. It suggested external applications more than internal use, and proposed formulations in the form of decoctions or powders, etc. The herbs of formulas were used by experience without explanations of nature & taste, efficacy of each herbs. Conclusions : Hyang'yak Kugŭppang is a book of medical recipes for emergency use that has been distributed to help gentries, even if they do not have professional medical knowledge, to instantly cope with diseases and symptoms with medicines that are easy to obtain. Previous researches has analyzed the value of Hyang'yak Kugŭppang as a collection of information of hyang'yak, and used it as a historical basis of the uniqueness of Korean medicine. Since Hyang'yak Kugŭppang is not a book specialized for herbs, but rather a clinical medical book that introduces recipes for specific symptoms of diseases, if we pay attention to the clinical characteristics of Hyang'yak Kugŭppang, it will provide an opportunity to describe Koryŏ or Korean medicine in a new way.

        LIGA - like 공정으로 제작된 마이크로 터빈의 유한 요소 해석

        N/A The finite element analysis of a micro turbine was made to investigate safety margin of its operating condition for the high aspect ratio nickel micro turbine blades fabricated by conventional LIGA-like method. From our study, we found that the fabricated turbine could not exceed its yield strength even if the pressure difference between inlet and outlet of turbine blade was about 44kPa, and the correlation of friction coefficient and the maximum stress, caused by contact friction between outer diameter of shaft and inner diameter of turbine blade, was somewhat reciprocal. The maximum stress was decreased with the increasing contact friction, when turbine blade was in its state of rotation. By the results of our study, we conclude that it is possible to fabricate metal micro turbine more easily than surface micromachining technology and to operate with no risk of metal structure`s damage, which is caused by yield strength, if the operating condition with the design of micro turbine itself are optimized. It is useful to adopt other applications which have the contact problems between a moving part and the faced one in micro structures.

        대구 의생 김광진의 동서의학 절충 그리고 한의학 혁신

        Objectives : In this paper, the main objective is to analyze and evaluate Kim Gwangjin(金光鎭, 1885-1940)’s academical achievements of integration of eastern with western medicine and innovation of traditional medicine(TM, 漢醫). Methods : This paper is composed of two parts. First, analyzing Kim’s medical book, the principle of Up and Down in Medicine(醫學升降法) by the way of text analysis and interpretation faithfully. Second, adding historical perspectives about his achievements. Results : Kim opened a clinic and practiced TM in Daegu, a city of Youngnam(嶺南) area of Korea, in 1924, and published the book in 1936. While Kim acknowledged the scientific results by western medicine and criticized the typical explanation of five viscera or qi circuits of TM, he clarified the treatment range for TM and provided his own interpretations of pathophysiology through the ups and downs of qi, without conflicting between western medicine and TM. Moreover, he critically follows the TM discourses of the most noted practitioner, Lee Gyoojoon(李圭晙), in the Youngnam area of the time. Conclusions : In the 1930s, although western medicine has become the new core orientation and has forced out TM to the districts, within the abyss of the districts, TM still maintained its strong presence.

        갈조류 추출물 섭취가 사이클 선수의 운동피로회복에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 갈조류 추출물 섭취가 엘리트 사이클 선수들의 유산소성 능력 및 운동피로와 관련이 있는 혈액인자에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 구명하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 K 대학교 엘리트 사이클 선수 EXP(실험) 집단 6명, PLA(위약) 집단 7명 총 13명이 피험자로 연구에 참여하였다. 갈조류 추출물과 위약은 EXP집단과 PLA집단 모두 운동부하검사 15분 전 섭취하였다. 운동부하검사는 사이클 실내훈련용 자전거인 와트바이크 프로(Wattbike pro., UK)를 이용하여 측정하였고, 심박수는 전자 심박수측정계(Pola S810, Finland)를 이용하여 기록하였다. 운동피로관련 혈액변인은 Glucose, Lactate acid, Ammonia, LDH를 운동 전, 직후, 회복기 15분, 30분, 60분 총 5회 채취하여 분석하였다. 섭취물에 따른 차이를 비교하기 위해 집단 간 유산소성 능력의 차이는 Independent t-test, 집단 간 및 집단 내 심박수, 혈액변인은 Repeated measure ANOVA를 실시하였고, 사후검증은 LSD(least signigicant difference)를 실시하였으며, 이때 모든 통계적 유의 수준은 α=.05로 설정하였다. 섭취물에 따른 VO2max와 Lactate threshold는 집단 간 시기와 시기 * 집단에서 차이가 나타나지 않았다 (p=.737, p=.458). 집단 간 안정시, 회복기 심박수와 운동 중 심박수는 시기에서 유의한 차이가 있었으나(p=.001) 시기 * 집단에는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다(p=.440). Lactate acid, Ammonia, LDH는 시기에는 유의한 차이가 있었으나(p=.001) 시기 * 집단에는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다(p=.799, p=.870, p=.150). Glucose는 시기와 시기 * 집단 모두 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다(p=.001, p=.03). 이상의 결과를 미루어 볼 때, 갈조류 추출물 섭취는 운동피로관련 혈액인자에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 사료되며, 고강도의 사이클 경기 및 훈련 후 회복능력과 경기력 향상에 긍정적인 처치 방법으로 제시할 수 있을 것이라고 사료된다. To conduct this study, 6 persons of EXP group elite cyclists and 7 persons of PLA group elite cyclists, total 13 elite cyclists from K university were selected. Both eclonia cava extract and placebo groups consumed eclonia cava extract and placebo respectively before 15 minutes before exercise stress test. Exercise stress testing was measured using watt cycle bike pro (Wattbike pro, UK) which is indoor cycle training bike, heart rate was recorded using an electronic heart rate meter (Pola S810, Finland). For exercise fatigue-related factors, Glucose, Lactate acid, Ammonia and LDH were collected and analyzed before exercise, immediately after exercise, 15minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes of recovery period total 5 times. To analyze the differences of aerobic capacity between groups according to ingesta, independent t-test was conducted, for heart rate and blood factors , repeated measure ANOVA was performed and LSD(least signigicant difference) was conducted for post verification. All the statistical significance level was set at α=.05. Lactate threshold and VO<sub>2max<sub> differences according to ingesta was not shown between the groups and time * group (p=.737, p=.458). At recovery, there was a significant difference in heart rate at rest and heart rate during exercise between groups(p=.001), but the time * group (p=.440) did not show significant difference. Lactate acid, Ammonia, LDH showed a significant difference in times(p=.001), but no significant difference found in time * group (p=.799, p=.870, p=.150). Glucose is found to have significant differences time and time * group (p=.001, p=.03). Considering from the above results, intake of eclonia cava extract is considered to have a positive impact on the relevant blood factors exercise fatigue, and can be suggested as positive aid measures after a high-intensity cycle match and training resilience and performance improvement.
