The aim of this paper is to review critically the literature on the theoretical and empirical effect of capital account liberalization. The research is stimulated by the recent financial turmoils in East Asian countries during 1996-1997. Traditional theories have emphasized that financial in opening may promote economic growth and efficiency without financial and economic stability as do the trade opening. However many casual empirical studies have shown that it is not he case in many emerging economies. I argue that the capital account liberalization may enhance efficiency in financial intermediaries and thus economic growth in the long-run even though it may cause some short-run instability with pain. So there is in some sense inter-temporal trade off between short run stability and long-run growth. I also suggest some policy options to reduce costs and to increase benefits from capital account liberalization.
대공간 막 구조물 지붕의 수밀성능 확보를 위한 유지관리 지표 연구

With the increased demand for membrane structures in recent years, there have been many studies of their mechanical properties, to the extent that such structures have become recognized as independent structures with a level of safety and durability comparable to those of other general structures. But in reality, the study for the maintenance of membrane structures has not been as active. In particularly, the study of watertightness from the perspective of maintenance has been very limited. Accordingly, a study on securing watertightness performance and the guidelines for maintenance is necessary. In this study, through a case study of water leakage accidents in membrane structures overseas, causes of leakage were selected from the membrane material itself, joint parts and open door of roof part in membrane structure. The water leakage and deterioration elements were analyzed from those leakage causes. The degree of importance of the water leakage and deterioration index was also designated using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. As a result, the basic technical index was suggested for the maintenance of the roofs of large-span membrane structures to prevent water leakage. This index will be used to make a guideline for the long-term maintenance of the roofs of large-span membrane structures. 최근 막 구조물의 수요 증가에 따라 막 구조물의 구조 및 재료적 연구의 진행은 막 구조물을 하나의 독립된 구조물로써 인정받을 만큼 활발히 진행되고 있지만, 유지 관리 측면의 연구의 경우아직까지 이에 미치지 못한 상황이다. 특히 유지관리 측면에의 연구 중 지붕구조의 수밀성 및 누수에 관한 연구는 해외에서 일부만을 다루고 있어 국내 실정에 맞는 유지관리 지표 개발이 요구되고있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 막 구조물 지붕부의 막재 및 접합부,지붕 형태에 따른 누수취약부에 대해서의 하자 사례 조사를 통하여 누수 요인 및 열화 인자를 분석하였고, 이를 AHP기법을 활용하여 중요도를 부여하여, 막 구조물에서 필요한 유지관리 지표를제안하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 막 구조물 지붕의 장기적으로 수밀성 확보를 위한 설계 및 시공단계서의 수밀성 평가 지표, 준공 후사용과정에서의 점검 관리 지표를 제안하였다.

This study deals with the method of test and quality control for performance estimation of waterproof agent and admixture of cement. The purpose of this study is that it makes the estimation value of bond strength water absorption rate and water permeability of concrete wall when coated waterproof agent and admixture of cement as waterproofing materials for durability performance estimation depend on concrete watertightness. From this study, we recommended the test method to estimation. For the effect on bond strength between waterproofing layer and mortar or concrete substrate in building construction.

In order to study the characteristics of water quality, a total of 20 reservoirs located at upstream of the major stream in Yeongsan River basin were selected for measurement, and we conducted field surveys and water quality analysis twice. As a result of water quality analysis, 14 out of 20 reservoirs did not meet water quality standard for the agricultural reservoir because one or more items showed water quality grade of ‘bad (V)’ due to exceeding the standard according to the Ministry of Environment's Reservoir Water Quality Standard. In addition, as a result of the eutrophication evaluation using the Korean trophic state index, 17 of the 20 reservoirs were found to be 'eutrophic' state. According to correlation analysis between water quality observation items, chemical oxygen demand (COD) was highly correlated with total organic carbon(TOC), Chl-a, and T-N(r=0.82, r=0.78, r=0.53). However, there was no correlation between Chl-a and T-P. In the second survey also, eutrophication was continuously found in 85 % of the reservoirs. Compared to the first survey period, TSIko(T-P) value increased from 100.3 % to 292.1 % in 17 reservoirs during the second survey. This is attributed to the increase in the phosphate concentration introduced from external source. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the cause and prepare countermeasures through long-term monitoring of the inflow of external pollutants and the water quality of the reservoir.

It often happen water leakage that roof membrane have a poor condition such as direct exposed to rain, ultraviolet lays, temperature change compare with other part of waterproofing. There are difficult to maintain the quality of waterproofing and durability due to use only few waterproofing materials in practical in spite of development and use the various waterproofing material as solution of these poor condition.Therefore, in this thesis, I would like to know the property to apply field and suggest other method to develop for this waterproofing method to adopt various field condition for roof tops, as searching exposed and complex waterproofing technology for roof tops which is reinforced sheet using rising system have a regular pitch, depth, space.
