The purpose of this paper is to analyze the level and causes of the stress suffered by enlisted men of ROK Army considering ranks and the types of unit in which they are deployed. We used a survey tool which have been widely used in R.O.K Army. A representative sample size of about 1,500 enlisted men from all seven unit types was selected and surveyed considering types of unit, ranks, and regional characteristics. The evaluation of stress revealed that GOP and seashore units had lower level of stress compared to inland and reserve units while the rank of soldiers did not have a significant impact on stress level. From the standardized regression coefficients through the regression analysis, we found that the main causes of stress were unfit duty, service inflammation, and personality difference with higher rank officers and soldiers. Furthermore this paper offers several recommendations to reduce the stress of enlisted men.

The purpose of this paper is to explain the poetic effect gotten in the discourse area, which appears in the process on the basis of the light of text linguistics to the process which Lee Yong Ak’s poems are regarded as of utterance of text producers. As text linguistic analysis considers research target as open communications free from dosed sentence structure, that is, intention of text produce and mutual cognitive action between text, i.e. product, and text-accepters, i.e. readers, it may belong to generally critical method including not only micro structure of text itself but also macro structure beyond the text of participant in discourse. Therefore, text linguistics has the basic assumptions like writer intention in interpreting the text, structural character that text linguistics has, reader's inference, and information process. Lee Young Ak’s text model 'wandering’ is thought of as conflict space from the past hometown until now. In the conflict space exits the contrapositive world of 'self’ and 'another self. The model of the text world regared as negative cognition of the real world is matching with the expression of negative discourse aspect caused to create uneasiness and pain. Lee Yong Ak’s text world, which suggests concrete aspect of life surrounding poetic utterers based on understanding the real world through discourse attitude of adult utterers, can be caught in the dialogue texts through the settlement of poetic hearers as producer intention given under situational management. The text world ‘wandering’ Lee Yong Ak’s wants to construct is considered as the wandering space of community beyond individual. The technique like plan activation, situation check, and management is used in the construction of the wandering space. Accepters in negative cognition of space can realize the typical life to recover the conflict in the real world and the real shape in the contemporary period. As the implicative meaning that Lee Yong Ak’s text has, it is said that he develops the life of the colonial days as the process of conflict recovery.
장면전환 발생시 예상 비트 조정을 통한 MPEG - 2 비디오 부호화 비트율 제어 알고리즘

장면전환에 따른 화질열화는 예상 비트량과 실제 부호화량의 차이가 많을 때 발생한다. 특히 장면전환이 P화면에서 발생된 경우에는 장면전환이 발생된 P화면 뿐만 아니라, P화면을 참조하는 화면들의 화질에 심각한 열화가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 장면전환이 발생했을 때 부적절한 비트율 제어의 원인을 토대로 장면전환 화면과 이후 화면들의 화질을 개선하는 방법을 제시하였다. 장면전환 화면에는 추가비트를 할당하는 기존 방법과 예상 비트를 인트라 화면의 부호화 수준으로 할당하는 새로운 방법을 적용하였다. 그리고 장면전환 이후 화면들에는 예상 비트 할당을 장면전환 발생이전 화면의 부호화 수준으로 할당하는 방법을 제안하여 화질을 개선시켰다. 실험 결과 제안하는 알고리즘이 기존 알고리즘보다 화질향상이 있었고, TM5와 비교해서는 0.5∼1.2dB의 PSNR 향상을 보였다. The decrease of visual quality at scene change occurs when the difference between the amount of target bits and actual coding is high. Especially, scene change at the P-picture can lead to severely degrade visual qualities at itself and the pictures referencing it. In this paper, under the occurrence of scene change, we propose a new method, based on the analysis of existing inaccurate bits allocation, to improve the visual qualities of scene-changed and following pictures. The method allocates extra bits to scene-changed picture and changes them upto the level of the complexity of intra picture. Also, the method changes target bits of following pictures upto the complexity of picture prior to the scene change. Computer simulation shows that the proposed method has improved 0.5-1.2 dB higher than TM5 method in terms of PSNR.
