Synaptic adhesion molecules mediate synapse formation, maturation and maintenance. These proteins are localized at synaptic sites in neuronal axons and dendrites. These proteins function as a bridge of synaptic cleft via interaction with another synaptic adhesion molecules in the opposite side. They can interact with scaffold proteins via intracellular domain and recruit many synaptic proteins, signaling proteins and synaptic vesicles. Scaffold proteins function as a platform in dendritic spines or axonal terminals. Recently, many genetic studies have revealed that synaptic adhesion molecules and scaffold proteins are important in neurodevelopmental disorders, psychotic disorders, mood disorders and anxiety disorders. In this review, fundamental mechanisms of synapse formation and maturation related with synaptic adhesion molecules and scaffold proteins are introduced and their psychiatric implications addressed.

AMPA 수용체의 조절이 지니는 정신과적 의의

Glutamate receptors are important components of synaptic transmission in the nervous system. Especially, ${\alpha}$-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazole propionic acid (AMPA) receptors mediate most abundant excitatory synaptic transmission in the brain. There is elaborate mechanism of regulation of AMPA receptors including protein synthesis/degradation, intracellular trafficking, exocytosis/endocytosis and protein modification. In recent studies, it is revealed that functional dysregulation of AMPA receptors are related to major psychiatric disorders. In this review, we describe the structure and function of AMPA receptors in the synapse. We will introduce three steps of mechanism involving trafficking of AMPA receptors to neuronal membrane, lateral diffusion into synapses and synaptic retention by membrane proteins and postsynaptic scaffold proteins. Lastly, we will describe recent studies showing that regulation of AMPA receptors is important pathophysiological mechanism in psychiatric disorders.

The new edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) is published by the American Psychiatric Association. The diagnostic systems for mental disorders have come under criticism for relying on presenting signs and symptoms with the result that they do not adequately reflect relevant neurobiological and behavioral systems. Finally, the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in the United States has suggested the Research Domain Criteria (RDoC) to develop a research classification system based upon dimensions of neurobiology and behavioral aspect. The present review introduces the RDoC as a new reaseach framework.

In the post-genomic era, the mechanisms controlling activation of genes are thought to be more important. Gene-environment interactions are crucial in both development and treatment of psychiatric disorders as they are complex genetic disorders. Epigenetics is defined as a change of gene expression that occurs without a change of DNA sequence and can be heritable by certain mechanisms. Epigenetic changes play essential roles in control of gene activation. DNA methylation, chromatin remodeling and RNAi act as key mechanisms for epigenetic modifications of genes. Here, we review the basic mechanisms of epigenetics and discuss their potential involvement of human diseases, including psychiatric disorders.

Recently, Ketamine, an N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor antagonist, has received attention and has been investigated for clinical trials and neurobiological studies. Here, I introduce ketamine as a rapid-acting antidepressant.

현장논문 : 블루오션으로써 성인 여성태권도의 활성화

한국의 태권도 도장은 위기 상황에 놓여있으며, 앞으로 더욱더 어려운 상황을 직면할 것으로 예상되고 있다. 출산율 저하로 태권도 수련인구가 자연 감소하고 있는 상황에서 태권도 도장의 어려운 현실을 극복할 수 있는 방안은 성인 태권도, 특히 성인 여성 태권도의 활성화이다. 본 연구의 목적은 태권도의 교육적 가치를 논하고, 여성 태권도의 역사를 개관한 다음 여성 태권도의 차별적 의의와 그것의 사회적 역할을 규명한 다음, 여성 태권도의 저변확대 방안을 제안하고, 여성 태권도의 비전을 제시하는데 있었다. 태권도는 특정 대상의 전유물이 아니며, 누구나 쉽게 접근하여 수련의 효과를 기대할 수 있어야 하고, 그러한 목표의 성취를 위한 현실적 대안은 다름아닌 성인 여성 태권도의 활성화이다. 결론적으로 여성태권도를 활성화 하는 최선의 방법은 여성들이 쉽게 태권도에 접근할 수 있도록 운동 환경을 조성하고, 적합한 프로그램을 개발하여 지도하는 동시에 여성도 태권도관련 업무에 종사할 수 있는 기회를 크게 확대하는 것이다. Korean Taekwondo Dojang(Training Center) have been laid on crisis, being expected to face more difficult situations in future. Due to the drop of birth rate, the training population of Taekwondo has been decreased, to overcome the difficult reality in the Dojang of Taekwondo, adult Taekwondo, especially women`s Taekwondo, should be activated. The goal of this study is to discuss the educational values of Taekwondo, overview the history of women`s Taekwondo and define the significance and social role of women`s Taekwondo, suggest effective measures expanding the base of women`s Taekwondo, and provide the vision of women`s Taekwondo. The Taekwondo is not an exclusive property of a certain object, but anyone could easily approach to expect the effect of training. Thus, as for the practical method to achieve the goal, the answer is in the activation of women`s Taekwondo. In conclusion, the optimal measures for the activation of women`s Taekwondo are to create friendly training environment for women`s easier approach and develop appropriate programs as well as widely open the door of opportunity for women to engage in works related to Taekwondo.

대학생의 실시간 원격수업 만족도와 지속수강의도에 영향을 주는 요인

코로나19 바이러스로 2020학년도 1학기에 모든 대학에서 실시된 실시간 원격수업에 대한 대학생들의 만족도과 지속수강의도에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하였다. 한 수도권 대학의 재학생 420명을 설문조사해서 분석하였다. 학생들이 느끼는 사회적 실재감, 수업 품질, 학습 유용성, 학생 상호작용인식은 수업 만족도에 정적인 영향을 주었다. 물리적 유용성, 인지된 용이성, 교수 상호작용 인식과 인구사회적 요인은 영향을 주지 않았다. 수업 만족도는 지속수강의도에 정적인 영향을 주었다. 수업 만족도와 지속수강의도에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 요인은 학습효과 기대감, 수업 구성원 친밀감, 강의 시스템 품질 등 세 가지였다. 실시간 원격수업이 잘 되기 위해서는 학생들이 친밀감을 느끼는 수업공동체를 만들려는 교수의 노력이 필요조건이며, 학습콘텐츠와 학습환경 등 수업 품질이 나쁘면 학생들은 학교에서의 대면강의를 선호할 것으로 해석되었다. As a result of the Corona19 virus, the real-time remote classes were conducted at all universities in Korea in the first semester of 2020. This study analyzed factors that affect the real-time remote class satisfaction and the intention to sustain the remote class of university students through a survey of 420 students from a university in a metropolitan area. Social presence, class quality, learning usefulness, and student interaction perceptions felt by students had positive effects on satisfaction. Physical usefulness, perceived ease of use, professor interaction perceptions, and demographic factors did not have effects. Satisfaction has positive effects on the intention to sustain class. Expectation of learning effect, intimacy between class members, and the quality of the lecture system were three factors that positively affected the satisfaction and the intention to sustain class. It was concluded that professor’s efforts to create a class community in which students feel intimate with each other are necessary for the development of the real-time remote class and if class quality is poor, such as learning contents and learning environment, students will prefer face-to-face class at the university.

한국과 일본신문의 한일강제병합 100주년 뉴스 프레임 차이 비교

중동 6개국 언론 보도에 나타난 중동 한류

중동의 한류 실태를 다른 지역과 비교해서 알아보기 위해 사우디아라비아, 아랍에미리트, 이집트, 이란, 터키, 이스라엘 등 중동 6개 국가의 언론이 2000년부터 2013년7월까지 보도한 한류 가사 489개를 현상, 성공이유, 효과, 문제점 등 4개의 틀로 분석했다. 중동의 한류도 다른 지역과 마찬가지로 K팝, 영화, 드라마가 주도하면서 관광, 한국어, 태권도, 음식 등 다른 장르로 확산되고 있었다. 한류의 성공이유에 대해서는 한국 정부의 문화개방과 육성정책, 한국 문화산업계의 치열한 경쟁, 문화적 근접성, 콘텐츠의 우수성, 정보통신기술 발달, 부족한 중동의 문화콘텐츠 등 6가지 요인이 분석되어서 다른 지역의 성공 이유와 유사했다. 한류의 성공효과는 한국 이미지가 긍정적으로 개선, 한국이 문화강국이라는 이미지 형성, 한국에 대한 관심 증가, 한국 경제발전에 기여, 중동 젊은이들의 문화적 국제화 신장, 중동의 문화산업 육성 필요성 인식 등 6가지이었다. 중동 언론에서는 선행연구들에서 나타난 한국 이미지 상승, 경제발전 등의 효과 이외에도 한국을 문화강국으로 인지하는 효과가 있었다. 그러나 중동에서 한류는 아직 경제적 효과로는 많이 이어지지 않아서 한국상품 구매단계에는 못미치고, 아직 한류 파생상품 구매 단계인 것으로 해석되었다. 그럼에도 한류는 중동에도 도움이 되는 것으로 평가되어서 중동의 한류는 더욱 대중화되고 뿌리내릴 수 있음을 시사했다. 중동 언론에서는 비판적인 기사가 매우 적어서 혐한류, 항한류의 분위기는 아직 없는 것으로 해석되었다. 그러나 일부 언론에 의해 제기된 한류스타의 자살사건, K팝 가수 육성과정과 불평등 계약, K팝 콘텐츠의 문제점 등은 개선되어야 할 것으로 나타났다. This study conducted discourse analysis on 489 news about Korean Wave reported by the media of 6 nations (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Iran, Turkey and Israel) from 2000 to July 2013. K-pop, movie and drama have played leading roles in Korean Wave of Middle East and the genre of Korean Wave has spread into tour, Korean language, Taekwondo, food and so on. The success reasons were summarized into 6:the culture open-door policy and cultural industry promotion policy of Korean government, the intense competition of Korean cultural industry, the superiority of contents, the cultural proximity, the development of IT and the poor cultural contents of Middle East. The effects of Korean Wave were analyzed to 6:the improvement of image on Korea, the image of the cultural powerhouse about Korea, the increasement of attention to Korea, the contribution into economy development of Korea, the cultural globalization of Middle East and Middle East’s perception that the cultural industry is important. The negative news were very few, so it was explained that there was no anti-Korean Wave movement yet.
