        영어 무성치경폐쇄음의 변이음 분포와 실현에 대한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the sound distribution of Korean speakers of English in terms of their pronunciations of the voiceless alveolar stop /t/ in six different contexts. We want to identify what kinds of variant sounds of the /t/ in each context were realized and also compare those sounds with the variant sounds of Americans in the same contexts. As a consequence of analyses, we confirmed that Koreans still lacked the knowledge of phonological contexts such as the difference between stressed and unstressed syllables and the relation between variant types and their contexts in which /t/ occurred. Also, we recognized that they pronounced the /t/ as an aspirated sound whenever it preceded a vowel. In addition, an interesting fact observed from Koreans was that the /t/ was realized as several types as in [t<sup>h</sup>], [ɾ], RV(release and vowel insertion), and [d] in the intervocalic(foot-internal) context ((ˈ)V__V), and also in #__(word-initial) context, as in [ts], [t], [t<sup>ㄱ</sup>], RV, and [·]. Through statistical analyses of R, we recognized that the differences in the measured values of close phase, VOT(Voice Onset Time), and the aggregate of the two between Koreans and Americans were significant. Finally, it was shown that each of the values of close phase, VOT, and the aggregate of the two were affected by both the speakers of the two groups and the contexts of variants through Interaction Plot.         모음 삽입현상에 대한 재분석

        The purpose of this paper is to explain the vowel epenthesis arising in both plural noun forms and past-tense verb forms. At first I adopted a rule-based approach for analyzing the phonological phenomena, but there were a few analytical problems. Next I considered a hierarchical feature method as an alternative. In this analytical process, I explained how the Obligatory Contour Principle (hereinafter, OCP) works within the framework of hierarchical feature method. In this paper, I will show that the OCP, which may be a rule-trigger or a rule-blocker in rule application, plays an important role in the vowel insertion rule as the rule-blocker. Although these give us some understanding about vowel insertion, they don’t provide a completely satisfying explanation for the phenomenon. Therefore, I adopted a new approach based on the Optimality Theory, which provides us a synthetic explanation by using some constraints and ranking these appropriately without depending on rule-ordering and derivation.         KOMPSAT-2 전정색영상과 다중분광영상의 융합기법 비교평가

        본 연구의 목적은 KOMPSAT-2 위성영상에 가장 일반적으로 적용 가능한 영상융합기법을 제시하는 것이다. 가장 널리 사용되는 영상융합기법인 HPF, modified IHS, pan-sharpened, wavelet을 지역적, 계절적 특성이 서로 다른 4장의 KOMPSAT-2 위성영상에 적용하였고, 각각의 융합결과를 공간적, 분광적으로 비교분석 하였다. 영상융합기법의 품질평가는 시각적 분석과 정량적 분석을 병행하여 수행하였으며, 정량적 분석에는 spatial ERGAS, spectral ERGAS, SAM, Q4가 사용되었다. 종합적인 분석결과를 고려할 때, pan-sharpened가 색상정보와 공간정보의 균형적인 보존 측면에서 다른 융합기법들에 비해, 상대적으로 우수한 결과를 나타냈다. modified-IHS의 경우, 공간정보는 잘 보존하였지만 다소 큰 색상 왜곡이 발생되었고, HPF와 wavelet은 색상 왜곡은 적었지만, 공간정보의 왜곡이 발생하였다. The objective of this study is to propose efficient data fusion techniques feasible to the KOMPSAT-2 satellite images. The most widely used image fusion techniques, which are the high-pass filter (HPF), the intensity-hue-saturation-based (modified IHS), the pan-sharpened, and the wavelet-based methods, was applied to four KOMPSAT - 2 satellite images having different regional and seasonal characteristics. Each fusion result was compared and analyzed in spatial and spectral features, respectively. Quality evaluation of image fusion techniques was performed in both quantitative and visual analysis. The quantitative analysis methods used for this study were the relative global dimensional error (spatial and spectral ERGAS), the spectral angle mapper index (SAM), and the image quality index (Q4). The results of quantitative and visual analysis indicate that the pan-sharpened method among the fusion methods used for this study relatively has the suitable balance between spectral and spatial information. In the case of the modified IHS method, the spatial information is well preserved, while the spectral information is distorted. And also the HPF and wavelet methods do not preserve the spectral information but the spatial information.

        세분류 토지피복지도 분류체계 개선방안 연구 -환경부 토지피복지도를 중심으로-

        본 연구는 현재 환경부에서 제공하는 토지피복지도 중 세분류 토지피복지도의 분류체계를 개선하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 첫째, 해외 토지피복지도 분류 항목을 중점 검토하였다. 둘째, 기존 세분류 분류체계를 적용하여 구축된 항목 당 면적비율을 분석하였다. 셋째, 실제 세분류 토지피복지도를 사용하는 사용자(전문가 및 일반인)을 대상으로 분류체계 개선에 대하여 설문조사를 수행하였다. 넷째, 최종적으로 기존41개 분류체계를 33개 항목으로 개선하는 분류체계를 설정하였다. 다섯째, 설정된 토지피복 분류항목을 시범 적용하였으며, 기존 분류체계와 개선안에 따른 토지피복 분류 결과를 비교하였다. 연구대상지는 시가화지역, 농경지등 다양한 지표특성을 지니고, 지형지물이 비교적 골고루 분포되어 있는 고양시 일산 지역을 대상으로 하였다. 연구에 사용된 기본 영상은 국토지리정보원에서 촬영하고 있는 0.25 m 급 정사항공영상이며, 관련 참조자료는 수치지형도, 정밀 임상도, 지적도, 행정구역도 등을 사용하였다. 개선된 분류체계를 시범지역에 적용한 결과 문화체육·휴양시설이 1.84 km2으로 분류되었으며, 이는 기존 분류체계 면적대비 약 2배 이상 증가한 것이다. 기타 교통통신시설 및 교육행정시설 등은 분류되지 않았다. 본 연구결과는 향후 세분류 토지피복지지도 구축과 갱신의 효율성과 실질적인 사용자 수요를 반영하였다는데 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study is to improve the classification system of sub-divided land cover map among the land cover maps provided by the Ministry of Environment. To accomplish the purpose, first, the overseas country land cover map classification items were examined in priority. Second, the area ratio of each item established by applying the previous sub-divided classification system was analyzed. Third, the survey on the improvement of classification system targeting the users (experts and general public) who actually used the sub-divided land cover map was carried out. Fourth, a new classification system which improved the previous system by reclassifying 41 classification items into 33 items was finally established. Fifth, the established land cover classification items were applied on study area, and the land cover classification result according to the improvement method was compared with the previous classification system. Ilsan area in Goyang city where there are diverse geographic features with various land surface characteristics such as the urbanization area and agricultural land were distributed evenly were selected as the study area. The basic images used in this study were 0.25 m aerial ortho-photographs captured by the National Geographic Information Institute (NGII), and digital topographic map, detailed stock map plan, land registration map and administrative area map were used as the relevant reference data. As a result of applying the improved classification system into the study area, the area of culturesports, leisure facilities was 1.84 km2 which was approximately more than twice larger in comparison to the previous classification system. Other areas such as transportation and communication system and educational administration facilities were not classified. The result of this study has meaningful significance that it reflects the efficiency for the establishment and renewal of sub-divided land cover map in the future and actual users’ needs.

        모자이크 영상의 정량적 품질평가 방법

        본 연구의 목적은 최신 상용 소프트웨어에서 지원하고 있는 영상 모자이크 기법을 비교 분석하고, 제작된 모자이크 영상들의 정량적인 품질평가 방법을 제시하는 것이다. 상대적으로 뛰어난 성능을 나타내는 것으로 알려져 있는 모자이크 기법을 계절적 특성이 서로 다른 7장의 KOMPSAT-2 위성영상에 적용하였고, 각각의 결과를 시각적으로 비교 분석하였다. 또한, 제작된 모자이크 영상의 성능을 비교 할 수 있는 정량적 평가지수를 제안하고, 시각적 결과와 비교 검증을 수행함으로써 제안된 품질평가 지수의 적용 가능성을 제시하였다. The purpose of this paper is to provide a compact overview of the state-of-art image mosaic algorithms in commercial softwares and to propose objective assessment method of that. Among them, several algorithms, widely used and high quality, result in the mosaic image by applying to seven different kinds of seasons of KOMPSAT-2 images and then consequently each result is analyzed visually. Moreover, quality index is suggested to assess the similarity with colors regarding adjacency images and then it is performed by comparing and analyzing the visual and quantitative results. Consequently, we found out the suggested quality index is feasible.

        모음비음화와 비중복음화에 대한 음운규칙과 제약접근 방식 비교

        The purpose of this study is to show that when we treat vowel nasalization and degemination with coalescence, constraint-based approaches can be explained better than rule-based approaches from the comparison of two phonological approaches. For vowel nasalization I first analyze it by applying a nasalization and a nasal deletion rule in sequence, and then a transformational rule, but these are still inadequate from the viewpoint of coalescence and also can’t capture the functional unity of rules. Instead I can explain this nasalization appropriately by using constraints and setting a new constraint, which blocks the nasalized vowel plus nasal consonant sequence. For degemination, first I analyze it by using the assimilation rule and cluster simplification and then the transformational rule, but all are unsatisfactory in explaining degemination as coalescence. Therefore I can analyze it by using some related constraints and making a new constraint, which is driven by the necessity of accounting for the assimilation of the given examples. As the result, I can explain degemination more concisely and consistently than can rule-based approaches. (Chonnam National University)

        아리랑 영상의 효율적 정사보정처리 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 아리랑 영상의 정사영상처리를 보다 효율적으로 개선하기 위한 것이다. 국내외 지구 관측 위성의 개발이 가속화됨에 따라 획득되는 영상의 수와 양이 급증하고 있다. 이에 획득된 영상에 대한 정사영상처리를 보다 빠르고 효율적으로 개선하기 위한 다양한 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 GPU 등 하드웨어 컴퓨팅 능력 향상을 제외하고, 알고리즘 개선을 통한 처리 효율 강화에 집중하였다. 이를 위하여 LUT 기반 RFM 방법으로 알고리즘을 개선하였으며, offset 설정에 따라 달라지는 결과를 정확도 및 시간 효율의 측면에서 비교 및 분석하였다. The purpose of this study is to efficiently improve orthorectification of KOMPSAT images. As the development of domestic and abroad earth observation satellites accelerates, the number and amounts of satellite images acquired are rapidly increasing. Accordingly, various studies are being conducted to improve orthorectification for the acquired image more quickly and efficiently. This study focused on enhancing processing efficiency through algorithm improvement, except for improving hardware computing capabilities such as GPU. Accordingly, the algorithm was improved with the LUT-based RFM method, and compared and analyzed in terms of accuracy and time-efficiency that vary depending on offset settings.

        영어 구개음화와 순음화 현상에 대한 조화이론적 접근

        This paper argues that a Harmonic approach having level structures has more explanatory adequacy than generative analyses which stipulate intermediate steps, and also lack generalization for palatalization and labialization in English. In the case of palatalization, SPE regards it as two phonological processes in which the palatalization rule and the /y/-deletion rule are applied orderly, but the inapplicableness of the /y/-deletion rule in isolation leads to the need for intermediate steps as well as an unnatural rule application without generalization and conciseness. On the other hand, others look at palatalization as a fusion of the phonological processes of assimilation and deletion which arise simultaneously. Fusion may thus be analyzed by a transformational rule format, like a phonological process. But analysis through the transformational rule can`t show mapping morphological information to phonological aspects or a proper sense of fusion, in which an interaction of two segments bring about a new segment, which is shared and maintained by each feature of the two segments. Therefore I adopt a Harmonic approach that is not only able to show a difference in the environment of palatalized consonants, but also explain the phenomenon without intermediate steps and rule ordering in three level-structures. In the case of labialization, the method of SPE analysis includes some questions, which are based on a determination of the underlying form and a [w]-insertion rule. As an alternative to that, others view the labialization as a fusion, which is also analyzed by a transformational rule, in which assimilation and glide deletion are applied simultaneously. But in this case, it also can`t show a proper sense of fusion, in which I think the labialized consonant is a result that shares the manner features of one segment with the place features of the other segment. Therefore I analyze labialization in a Harmonic approach, in which I can explain it in an interlevel structure harmonically, without intermediate steps and rule ordering in three level-structures. For the generality of the phonological processes of this study, it will be necessary to further research other connected speech sounds and compare the framework used in this paper with other approaches.
