Objective: The purpose of this study is to calculate the error and accuracy by calculating the location information of the target point that the user is staring at through webcam, and to present a head robot system that gazes at the point where the user is looking at based on the calculation. Background: children with ASD are developmental disorders with defective social and communication skills. they tend not to look at what others point to or avoid eye contact. Method: The subjects of the experiment were asked to stare at the designated targets A, B, and C for a 10-second each, and repeated twice. and Determine the pan-tilt angle of the head robot through equations (3) to (7). Results: It was confirmed that each point can be distinguished by representing a value of ground thrust point and an error rate of 0.018m, and that the head robot designed is staring at an object located at the target point. Conclusion: The head robot system proposed in this study calculates the target point that the user is staring at and is designed so that the head robot looks at this target point. Application: Based on the experimental results presented, we intend to conduct an experiment using a robot proposed for ordinary children.
