The purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of the perception of school physical education on the satisfaction of school life in the middle school students. A total of 640 middle school students in D city at 2013 year were selected using the stratified cluster random sampling method. The exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis were conducted with the SPSS 18.0 program. Main findings were as followed: First, according to the sex, male students have higher perception of school physical education and satisfaction of school life. Second, according to the grade, first and second grade students have higher perception of school physical education and satisfaction of school life. Third, the perception of school physical education had a positive effect on the satisfaction of school life. Finally, the perception of school physical education had a positive effect o n the middle school students felt high satisfaction with school life as they felt high satisfaction with school physical education.
