CASE 도구를 이용한 ATC 차상 소프트웨어의 UML 모델링

ATC on-board equipment require realtime embedded software with high level of safety and reliability. To satisfy these requirements, many techniques are applied to the development of software during the lifecycle. In case of software modeling, object-oriented methodology is widening its niche replacing traditional structured methodology and modeling in UML using a CASE tool is a growing trend. In this paper, we modeled ATC on-board software in UML using Rhapsody, which is a modeling tool for realtime embedded software. We modeled the behavior of ATC on-board equipment based on state machine diagram and validated the model using the animation feature provided in the tool. According to our study, the CASE tool based on UML showed high level of applicability in modeling and verifying the software with complex behavioral characteristics.

Communications Based Train Control(CBTC) is a continuous, automatic train control system utilizing high-resolution, train location determination independent of track circuits; continuous, high capacity, bi-directional train-to-wayside data communications; and trainborne and wayside processors capable of implementing vital functions. In this paper, we present a basic design of CBTC system based on ERTMS/ETCS specifications. The basic design is composed of system requirements analysis, system functional analysis, system architectural design, sub-system requirements analysis, sub-system functional analysis. Each deliverable has been produced according to a development process based on UML/SysML.
HARMONY 프로세스를 이용한 ERTMS/ETCS 지상 시스템의 요구 및 기능 분석

ERTMS/ETCS is a signalling and control system designed for interoperability between railway networks. In this paper, SysML was used for modeling of the ERTMS/ETCS trackside system. We used use case diagrams and sequence diagrams for requirements analysis and functional analysis. By doing this, we could show that main functions of the ERTMS/ETCS trackside can be described and verified based on scenarios.

This paper proposes a CBTC wayside signaling system which redeems existing track-circuit-based ones by using movement authorities mixed with logical block and moving block. Only one train can be entered into the logical block or the route for existing wayside signaling system. Applying moving block for CBTC system enables the train to get nearer to the preceding one because its protection mechanism uses train's safe boundary not fixed block unit. By narrowing the existing route set to switch machine and applying the moving block beyond that area more than one train can enter into one route area. This paper shows that the efficient train control i.e. shortening the headway is possible using the moving block mixed with logical block in wayside signaling system.

As computer-based train control system became used widely reliability and safety assessment of the computer is getting more important. A fault on a computer can cause a malfunction of train control system and this can lead an accident. So where reliability and safety is highly required TMR is used. In this paper the method of data sharing and voting for TMR processing is proposed designed and verified.

There are two types of controller between railway and train. those are the Continuous Message Controller and the Intermittent Message Controller using for KHSR. The conventional Intermittent Message Controller board used a variable resister for setting the phase, but the variable resister affected some environmental facts, such as temperature, humidity, and vibration, etc. And It is requirement of reduction message processing time for speed-up operation in Next-Generation High-Speed Rail. This study suggests how to solve the problem described above. Using FPGA is quite profitable. It's easy to use and maintain, flexible with the New algorithm to fix up the problem.

A design pattern is a general reusable solution to a commonly occurring problem in software design. A design pattern is not a finished design that can be transformed directly into code. It is a description or template for how to solve a problem that can be used in many different situations. Moreover, the name of pattern itself also can be a kind of common language among developers and patterns can be easily imported to various applications demanding similar requirements. In this paper, we present models of CBTC onboard system which follows ERTMS/ETCS specifications and present patterns applied to our system.
