금속 갈륨과 암모니아의 직접반응에 의한 GaN 후막성장과 특성 연구

고온에서 증발된 금속 갈륨 (Ga)을 암모니아 ($NH_3$) 기체와 직접 반응시켜 사파이어 (${\alpha}-Al_2O_3$) 기판 위에 GaN 후막을 성장하였다. 성장된 GaN는 주로 [0002] 방향으로 성장하였으나 낮은 성장온도에서는 [1011] 방향의 성장이 관찰되었으며 V-형태를 가진 매우 거친 표면을 보였다. 그러나 성장온도가 증가하면 [1010]와 [1011] 방향으로 성장이 관찰되었으며 피라미드면을 가진 육방정 결정이 성장되었다. 성장된 GaN의 두께는 온도가 증가할수록 증가하였으나, $1270^{\circ}C$의 고온에서는 열분해를 일으켜 두께가 감소하였다. 공급된 $NH_3$의 유량이 증가할수록 GaN의 결정성과 광특성은 향상되었다. X-선 회절기 (X-ray diffraction)와 광루미네센스(photoluminescence) 분석결과로 GaN 후막이 (1010) 면으로 성장되면 황색발광이 증가됨을 관찰할 수 있었다. Thick GaN films were grown on (0001) sapphire substrates using the direct reaction gallium and ammonia. The GaN films grew dominantly along [0002] direction, but included the growth of GaN(1010) planeq with V-shaped facetted surfaces at low temperature. With increasing growth temperature, however, the growth of GaN (1010) and (1011) planes was appeared from the films, which gives rise to the growth of hexagonal crystal with pyramid-shaped surface. The growth rate of GaN films increased with increasing growth temperature, but decreased at $1270^{\circ}C$ because the GaN films began to decompose into Ga and N at the temperature. It seemed that the crystal and optical qualities of the GaN films improve with increasing $NH_3$ flow rate. From X-ray diffraction (XRD) and photoluminescence (PL) measurements, it was observed that the yellow luminescence (YL) appeared to be significant as the peak intensity of (1010) plane of XRD spectra increased.
내시경적 비강접근 농양배액술로 치료한 Pott’s puffy tumor 1례

Pott’s puffy tumor is soft tissue swelling of the forehead due to subperiosteal edema and the accumulation of pus or granulation tissue. It is usually associated with osteomyelitis of the frontal bone secondary to frontal sinusitis. An 11-year-old boy was admitted with left periorbital swelling and pain that had become aggravated from 3 days prior. Orbital computed tomography revealed pansinusitis with osteomyelitis on the left orbital roof. He underwent magnetic resonance image that showed an extradural abscess approximately 1.9 x 1.5 cm in his anterior cranial fossa. His serum test revealed increased white blood cell counts and an elevated C-reactive protein level. We performed a middle meatal antrostomy and frontal sinusotomy via a transnasal endoscope. Coagulase-negative Staphylococcus was cultured from the pus within his frontal sinus. Antibiotic therapy was administered for 6 weeks. The patient’s epidural abscess and pansinusitis subsided completely. We report herein a rare case of Pott’s puffy tumor patient who was treated with a transnasal endoscopic sinusotomy and antibiotic therapy.
초음파속도법을 이용한 고강도 콘크리트 기존 압축강도 추정식 적용성

선행연구에서 제안된 초음파속도법을 이용한 고강도 콘크리트 기존 압축강도 추정식을 대상으로 고강도 콘크리트 실험체의 압축강도 추정 적용성을 평가하고자 한다. 초음파속도법을 이용한 고강도 콘크리트 기존 압축강도 추정식 적용성 평가 목적으로 설계압축강도 70MPa 표준 공시체를 제작하여 초음파속도법과 압축강도 시험을 하였다. 기존 연구에서 제안된 고강도 콘크리트 압축강도 추정식 적용성 평가 결과, 추정식 별로 평균 오차율은 최소 8.1%에서 최대 52.1%로 광범위한 오차율을 보여, 신뢰도를 높일 수 있는 고강도 콘크리트 압축강도 추정기법이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.
간호대학(학과) 학사 편입과정 졸업생의 실태와 과정의 상대적 효율성 분석

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe the profile of graduates from accelerated second-degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs and to analyze the relative efficiency of nursing colleges using data envelopment analysis. Methods: An online survey link was emailed to the deans of nursing colleges, who were then asked to send the link to graduates of the respective colleges. The survey questionnaire included demographics, reasons for applying to the accelerated second-degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, employment after graduation, and nursing career satisfaction. Results: Sixty-two graduates of the accelerated second-degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing program responded to the survey. The mean age at admission was 24.28 (± 3.01) years. Reasons for applying to the accelerated second-degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing program were primarily increasing job security and using it as a stepping stone to another career. Nursing career job satisfaction was 4.81 (± 1.07) and more than 82% recommended this program. The data envelopment analysis found the average efficiency score to be 0.84 (± 0.20) and 4 nursing colleges to be relatively efficient. Conclusion: The accelerated second-degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing program can be considered to be an effective means to produce quality nurses with non-nursing bachelor degrees in a short time; however, outcomes of this program need to be systematically monitored to maintain quality level. Through this, competent nurses with knowledge of adjacent studies will be added to the nursing workforce.
충격반향기법을 이용한 필로티 건축물의 기둥부재 결함 추정

이 연구에서는 비파괴검사법 중 하나인 충격반향기법을 이용하여 필로티 건축물 기둥부재의 결함위치를 추정하고자 하였다. 결함을 이질재료로 묘사한 기둥 부재를 제작하여 실제 결함 위치와 충격반향기법으로 추정한 결함 위치를 비교하여 신뢰도를 평가하였다. In this study, the defect location of pillar members of piloti buildings was estimated using the impact echo method, which is one of the nondestructive testing methods. The reliability was evaluated by comparing the actual defect location with the defect location estimated by the impact echo method by manufacturing a column member depicting the defect with a different material.

논문은 조적부재에 고인성 복합체를 보강하여 내진보강 가능성을 평가하기 위한 기초연구이다. 고인성 복합체의 섬유 혼입률에 따른 성능을 검토하기 위하여 배합설계에 따라 시험체를 제조하고 유동성능, 압축강도, 휨 강도, 길이변화율 및 직접인장변형률을 측정하였다. 또한, 무보강 조적부재, 고인성 복합체로 보강한 조적부재, 고인성 복합체에 유리섬유 및 와이어 메쉬를 별도 보강한 조적부재를 제작하고 휨 강도와 최대변위를 측정하였다. 고인성 복합체를 보강한 모든 실험체들은 무보강과 비교하여 최대내력이 16배 이상의 효과가 나타났으며 균열 형상을 검토한 결과 에너지소산능력이 우수한 것으로 나타나 내진보강 가능성을 확인하였다. This paper is a basic study to evaluate the possibility of earthquake-resistant reinforcement by reinforcing engineered cementitious composite in masonry members. In order to examine the performance according to the fiber mixing rate of the engineered cementitious composite, a test specimen was prepared according to the formulation design, and flow ability, compressive strength, flexural strength, length change rate, and direct tensile strain were measured. In addition, non-reinforced masonry members, masonry members reinforced with engineered cementitious composite, and masonry members in which glass fibers and wire mesh were separately reinforced with engineered cementitious composites were manufactured, and flexural strength and maximum displacement were measured. All specimens reinforced with engineered cementitious composite showed more than 16 times the effect of maximal strength compared to that of no reinforcement, and as a result of examining the crack shape, the energy dissipation ability was excellent, confirming the possibility of seismic reinforcement.
