Natural gas hydrate has been a major problem for its plugging nature in the pipeline. With the demand of deep-water production, the importance of flow assurance technology, preventing hydrate, asphaltene and wax in the pipeline becomes bigger Kinetic models combined with the flow simulator are being developed to explain the nature of hydrate plug formation in the pipeline. To simulate the hydrate plug formation, each stage including the nucleation, growth and agglomeration should be considered. The hydrate nucleation is known to be stochastic and is believed hard to be predicted. Recent publications showed hydrate growth and agglomeration can be observed rigorously using a particle size analyzer. However properties of the hydrate should be investigated to model the growth and agglomeration. The attractive force between hydrate particles, supposed to be the capillary force, was revealed to be stochastic. Alternative way to model the hydrate agglomeration is to simulate by the discrete element method. Those parameters, particle size distribution, attractive force, and growth rate are embedded into the kinetic model which is combined Into the flow simulator. When compared with the flowloop experimental data, hydrate kinetic model combined into a flow simulator showed good results. With the early results, the hydrate kinetic model is promising but needs more efforts to improve it.

This paper presents real-time algorithm for an ultrasonic Local Positioning System(LPS). An ultrasonic LPS consists of 4 transmitters and n receivers. Each transmitter transmits an sequential ultrasonic signal to avoid interference of ultrasonic signal. This method is a noneffective application for a fast object. Because receiver detects four sequential transmissive ultrasonic signal and calculates a position. This paper proposes the method which 4 transmitters transmit simultaneous ultrasonic signal and each transmitter distinguished by frequencies and codes. And Auto-Correlation Function(ACF) method separates codes from an ultrasonic echo signal which is interference of each transmitter’s code. If the receiver uses only ACF method, it is difficult to implement real time application for increased computation. This paper implements LPS using dual frequencies and ACF method. Using dual frequencies reduces codes length. The reduced codes length save computation in ACF. To prove this algorithm by experiment, high performance DSP(digital signal processor) used. The result shows the performance of the designed system is good enough positioning.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the career barriers of intellectual disabilities who attended general middle schools. Interviews with 10 mothers of students with intellectual disabilities were conducted in order to investigate the mothers’ experiences with their student with intellectual disabilities. Three themes emerged from qualitative analysis: (1) the impact of student’s career barriers (2) the task of empowerment for intellectual disabilities, and (3) the support needed for raising student with intellectual disabilities. Implications for policy and practices for student with intellectual disabilities was provided.
오스템퍼링한 구상흑연주철(ADI)의 드릴 가공시 경도 및 현미경조직변화에 관한 연구

This paper was carried out to know the influence of advanced austempered ductile cast iron (ADI) on the tool life and mechanical properties of drilling machinability. For manufactured method of ADI, the spheroidal graphite cast iron were austenized at 900℃ for 1 hour and then austempered for 2 hour at 370℃ in the salt bath. And interrelationship has been investigated between tool life and mechanical characteristics of specimen material on drilling condition when the ordinary and step-feed drilling are carried out to drill holes of specimens. Tensile strength and hardness of ADI decrease and elongation of ADI increases with the increase austempered temperature. It is known that about 2 times of tool life in the case of step-feed decreases compared with ordinary feed due to the high hardness of ADI and hardness ascribed to the fact that retained austenite beame to martensite state due to cutting heat in drilling. Under the constant feed rate 0.1㎜/rev relation between hardness and length of end tip after drilling can be formularized to Hv=788.46L^-0.096 for the cutting speed 6.1m/min.
