향상된 JIT 컴파일 기법을 이용한 JAVA 가상 머신의 설계

JAVA 바이트 코드의 빠른 수행을 위해 현재 대부분의 벤더들은 JIT 컴파일러를 내장한 JAVA 가상 머신을 발표하고 있다. 그런데 JAVA 가상 머신이 바이트 코드를 native 코드로 번역하고 있는 순간에는 시스템에서 실행되는 프로그램이 정지하여 사용자와의 인터액션이 이루어 지지 않는 단절 현상(disruptive behavior)이 발생한다. 또한 각 메쏘드가 반복 수행되는 회수가 적은 프로그램의 실행은 인터프리팅에 의한 것보다 더 느려질 수도 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하고 JIT 시스템의 전반적인 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 ‘향상된 JIT 컴파일(Enhanced JIT Compile) 기법’을 설명하고, 이것을 사용하여 설계한 JAVA 가상 머신을 설명한다.

제3차 ‘성씨의 로마자표기 권장안’에 대한 제언

According to the current Korean government Romanization system formally proclaimed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on July 4, 2000, Korean family names will be Romanized differently from the rest of the Korean language. The National Institute of the Korean Language publically proposed the 1st system of Romanization for Korean family names on June 20, 2001. Nine years later, they proposed the 2nd system on June 25, 2009. The 3rd system of Romanization for Korean family names, which was done by Seoul National University Research Team, was proposed on January 27, 2012. The main purpose of this paper is i) to point out the problems of the 3rd system of Romanization for Korean family names proposed by Seoul National University Research Team, ii) to put forward a proposal of how to write Korean family names with English alphabets.

‘공공용어의 영어번역 및 표기지침’과 한국문화 관련용어 초등영어교과서 분석 및 제안

In an attempt to solve the problem of various English spellings of Korean names of landmarks and geographical locations used for maps, road signs and guidebooks with the lack of standardization, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism enacted the MCST instruction no. 279, an English translation guideline for public sector translation, on December 29, 2015. On September 23, 2015, the Ministry of Education announced a new national curriculum for elementary and secondary schools, Proclamation of the Ministry of Education #2015-74. This revised national curriculum for Elementary English textbooks will take effect on March 1, 2018. The main purpose of this paper is threefold: i) to review the English Translation Guideline for Public Sector Translation proposed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, ii) to analyze English spelling of Korean culture-related terms from 5 elementary school English textbooks which are currently used according to the English Translation Guideline, and iii) to suggest how to write Korean culture-related terms for new elementary school English textbooks which will be published after 2018 according to the 2015 Revised National Curriculum.

인터넷여행사의 활성화 방안에 관한 사례연구

E-revolution with electronic connections dictates that corporations and consumers should act to a new paradigm. Movement into the digital world produced the Internet generation who habitually uses computers just like home appliances. They also go shopping on line as well as off line. The digital trend has put our travel market into a transition period. The number of Internet sites related with domestic travel have been growing day by day. But they don`t provide the consumers with enough information of the products they offer. They are nothing better than a home page introducing themselves. This paper is designed to establish the theoretical backgrounds of the Internet travel agencies and their present situations in Korea through case-studies in order to find out solutions to the problems they face, eventually developing the models for the Internet business.

라이프스타일에 따른 해외여행 패키지상품 선택행동에 관한 연구

This study is to investigate the traveler`s choice behavioral characteristics of the overseas travel package product according to different patterns of lifestyle. The purpose of this dissertation is to examine the choice behavior of the oversea travel tourists being segmented by lifestyle and to influence them the basic element of the decision making process and to give the marketer better knowledge to develop the overseas travel package product successfully. The survey conducted from Jul. 29th through Aug. 29th. Total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to the tourists who were experienced in using the oversea travel package products of travel agencies in Seoul Korea and 423 were collected and 43 were unable and 374 were analyzed. SPSS/WIN were applied to frequency analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, and one-way ANOVA with duncan multiple range test. The results show that lifestyle group was divided into 5 clusters ; self-realizing, cultural-mined, daily-life, change-oriented, showing-off. the excellent and the properly trained. The results also show that marketers of travel agencies should look into their markets first before setting up their marketing strategies to develop the overseas travel package product successfully. Particularly, the results show that marketers of travel agencies should consider such attributes as tourist convenience, properly and excellently trained employee, good services, the effort of product development before they decide to select an appropriate the overseas travel package product. Total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to the tourists who have experienced using the oversea travel package products of travel agencies in Seoul Korea. 423 questionnaires were collected and 43 were abolished due to insufficiency, so 374 were analyzed. SPSS for Window Versions 10.0 were applied to frequency analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, and one-way ANOVA with duncan multiple range test.

멀티사이클론을 이용한 진공청소기의 최적설계에 관한 연구

Cyclone, a type of particle collector widely used in the field of ambient sampling and industrial particulate control, is the principal type of gas-solids separator that uses a centrifugal force. The goal of this study is to design and evaluate the cyclone that can be used for the household vacuum cleaners. A multi cyclone with a 1st cyclone and several 2nd cyclones is designed to improve dust collection efficiency. The dust collection efficiency and the suction power of 1st cyclone are evaluated. And the dust collection efficiency and the suction power of multi cyclone are evaluated according to various sizes of inlet and vortex finder. As a result, a cone shape porous filter has better dust collection efficiency than a cylinder shape porous filter. The dust collection efficiency of a multi cyclone is 3.5% greater than that of a single cyclone.

그린워터 및 블루워터를 이용한 물부족 평가

기후변화 및 인구 증가 등으로 인하여 물 공급량이 수요량을 충족하지 못하는 물부족 현상 발생이 증가하고 있다. 이와 같은 물부족 현상으로 인한 피해를 최소화하고 이에 대한 대비를 위해 수자원 및 물부족 평가 연구가 꾸준히 이루어져 왔다. 하지만 기존 연구는 대부분 지상수와 지하수만을 공급량으로 보았으며 실제 식물의 생장 및 유지에 이용되는 토양수 등에 대한 고려는 이루어지지 않았다. 이에 본 연구에서는 지상수 및 지하수를 의미하는 블루워터와 식물생장 및 유지에 이용되는 그린워터 개념을 도입한 물부족 평가 방법을 제안하고 이를 이용하여 보령 지역을 대상으로 물부족 평가를 실시하였다. SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) 모형을 이용하여 대상유역의 월별 유출량, 지하수량, 토양수량, 증발산량을 도출하였으며 이를 이용하여 월별 그린워터와 블루워터 부족량을 각각 도출하였다. 그린워터와 블루워터의 물부족 평가 결과 이 둘의 양상이 매우 다르게 나타났으며 이에 수자원 관리에서 용수 공급에 특히 주의해야 하는 시기를 알 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 물부족 평가 방법은 식물 및 작물 생장, 유지에 사용되는 그린워터를 평가에 고려함으로써 기존 평가 방법들에 비해 더욱 상세한 결과를 얻을 수 있으며 이에 수자원 관리에 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다. With climate change and population growth, there are significant increases in water scarcity. There have been water security assessments to abate the gap between water demand and availability to support water resource management. However, most of the assessments are focusing on the water that flows through either on or below the land surface, failing to consider water that infiltrates and can be used by vegetation. This study presents water scarcity assessment accounting for Blue and Green water concept, and applied the method to Boryung region. Monthly streamflow, evapotranspiration, and soil moisture were estimated by SWAT modeling, and each of them was used to analyze Blue and Green water scarcity. Blue and Green water scarcity had different aspect, and the result indicated the time when water scarcity is more likely to happen. The water scarcity assessment framework presented in this paper provides novel assessment method integrating hydrologic and ecosystem aspects, thereby improving the understanding of how water resources should be managed.
