The double-effect absorption refrigeration system consists of two generators, two heat exchangers, expansion valves, a condenser, an absorber and an evaporator. The cycle simulation is carried with the refrigerant of water-lithium bromide solution. The double effect absorption cycles with parallel, serial and reverse flows are compared to obtain a high efficiency depending on the arrangements of the generators. The absorption refrigeration system uses the high temperature steam and water generated from industrial process as the multi-heat sources. It is found the double effect absorption cycles with parallel flow is the most appropriate for trigen application.
