This study intends to examine the educational experience of sport-for-all leaders as required in the field of their activities and propose possible directions to improve their education. To this end, this study cataloged factors of professional competence required of sport-for-all leaders in the field of sport and leisure for all. Drawing on the sport-for-all leaders' educational experience, it also explored ways to make their pre-service and in-service education more effective and systemized to help improve their professional competence. For the purpose of achieving the objectives of the study, this author selected 20 sport-for-all leaders who are active in the field of sport and leisure for the participation in this study. This study was further supported by documentary research, in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and collected data and information. The result of this study can be summarized as follows: First, there are discrepancies between theories that sport-for-all leaders learn at college and practices in the field. Second, the improvement should be made with fundamental measures in a long-term perspective. This study explored ways to improve education of sport-for-all leaders focusing on the field with a view to presenting fundamental measures in a long-term perspective.
