        유아의 사회적 성취목표지향성, 공감능력 및 또래유능성의 관계: PLS-SEM의 적용

        본 연구는 PLS-SEM을 적용하여 유아의 사회적 성취목표지향성, 공감능력 및 또래유능성의 관계를 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 P 광역시 어린이집에 재원하고 있는 만4~5세 유아 118명으로 남아는 51명이고 여아는 67명이다. 측정도구는 유아의 사회적 성취목표지향성, 공감능력 및 또래유능성 척도이다. 연구결과 유아의 사회적 숙달목표지향성과 회피목표지향성은 공감능력에는 정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 유아의 사회적 숙달목표지향성은 또래유능성에는 정적인 영향을 미치고 있었고 회피목표지향성은 또래유능성에 부적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 공감능력의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과 사회적 숙달목표지향성은 공감능력을 매개로 또래유능성에 정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 사회적 회피목표지향성은 공감능력을 매개로 또래유능성에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. PLS-SEM은 표본크기가 작은 경우에도 복잡한 모델을 효율적으로 이용할 수 있으며 연구대상에 대한 어떠한 가정도 하지 않는 장점을 갖고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 PLS-SEM을 적용하여 유아의 사회적 성취목표지향성, 공감능력 및 또래유능성의 구조적 관계를 살펴보았다는데 의의가 있다고 본다. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship among children's social achievement goal orientation, empathy, and peer competence using PLS-SEM. The subjects of this study are 118 children with 51 boys and 67 girls. The instruments used in the study are children's social achievement goal orientation, empathy, and peer competence. The results showed that social mastery goal orientation had a significant effect on empathy and peer competence, and the social avoidance goal orientation had a positive effect on empathy, but negatively affected peer competence. Social mastery goal orientation had a positive effect on peer competence by the mediation of empathy. Social avoidance goal orientation had a positive effect on peer competence by the mediation of empathy. PLS-SEM has advantages working efficiently with small sample sizes and complex models and makes practically no assumptions about the underlying data. For this reason, PLS-SEM was used to examine the structural relationship among children's social achievement goal orientation, empathy, and peer competence.

      • Gultamate 및 Kainate에 의하여 유발된 흰쥐척수후각세포 반응에 미치는 칼슘의 효과

        Excitatory amino acids have been known to play an important role in the transmission of nociceptive signals in the spinal cord. The present study was undertaken to examine the effects of changes in calcium ion concentration on the responses of spinal dorsal horn neurons to EAAs. At first, the responses of LT (low threshould) and WDR (wide dynamic range) cells to iontophoretically applied glutamate and kainate were recorded before and during iontophoretic application of Ca^2+, Mn^2+ and EGTA. And the changes in spontaneous activity of the WDR cells were observed following iontophoretic application of Ca^2+, Mn^2+, EGTA and verapamil. Also studied was the effect of prolonged spinal application of EGTA on the glutamate - induced responses of the WDR cells. The spontaneous activity of WDR cells was strongly inhibited by iontophoretically applied Ca^2+, Mn^2+, and verapamil but greatly augmented by EGTA. The iontophoretically applied kainate produced excitation of all the LT and WDR cells whereas glutamate evoked excitation of all WDR cells and approximately 50% of LT cells. The responses of LT and WDR cells to glutamate and kainate were dose-dependently suppressed by Mn^2+ and Ca^2+ + but augmented by iontophoretically applied EGTA. The EGTA - augmented responses were reduced by Ca^2+ and Mn^2+. However, the response of WDR cell to glutamate was suppressed after a prolonged (15-20min) spinal application of EGTA. These experimental findings suggest that in the spinal cord, excitatory amino acids excite LT as well as WDR cells and that the transmission of EAA-induced sensory singals is modulated by the changes in calcium ion concentration.

      • Dimethylsulfoxide(DMSO)의 감각정보 전달 차단작용

        The present study was undertaken to investigate effects of DMSO on the responses of dorsal horn cells to electrical or mechanical stimulation and also on the generation and conduction of neuronal impulses respectively at the receptors and sensory sxons. The responses of wide dynamic range (WDR) cells to electrical or mechanical stimulation were recorded before and after application of varying concentrations (15-100%) of DMSO onto the spinal cord, the sciatic nerve axons proximal to the stimulating electrode or the receptive field (RF). Effects of DMSO on the compound action potential recorded from the sciatic nerve were also studied. The responses of WDR cells to pinch of RF or to stimulation of the afferent C-fibers were more strongly inhibited by DMSO than the responses to brush or to the A-fiber stimulation. When applied to afferent neuronal axons and onto the spinal cord, DMSO induced a preferential conduction block of the C-fiber component of the compound action potential. These findings suggest that DMSO interferes with the mechanoelectric transducing mechanism at the receptor level and also causes conduction block of the afferent fibers and the spinal neurons as well.
