블록체인 기술을 활용한 선박금융 STO 플랫폼 구축에 대한 연구

이 연구는 선박금융산업에 블록체인기술을 적용한 STO(Security Token Offering) 플랫폼 구축으로 민간 선박금융 생태계를 활성화하는 데 대한 연구이다. 국내 민간선박금융 생태계는 자본시장법과 선박투자회사법에 근거해 형성되었으나 장기간의 해운 불황으로 주로 정책금융에 의존하게 되어 민간의 참여확대가 지속적으로 강조되었다. 이 논문에서는 국내 선박금융에 대한 블록체인 STO(증권토큰화) 적용을통해 민간참여가 촉진될 수 있음을 제시한다. STO 플랫폼 적용으로 네트워크 효과에 기반해 국내 선박금융 생태계가 금융플랫폼 생태계로 혁신될 수 있으며, 이에 따라 다양한 토큰발행자와 민간투자자의참여증대를 기대할 수 있다. STO 플랫폼 설계를 위해 우선 경제-기술 통합 플랫폼 이론에 따라 플랫폼 디자인을 위한 핵심 원칙을 도출했다. 나아가 핵심원칙을 적용해 선박금융 플랫폼 설립을 위한 설계 원칙을 제시하며, 국내 선박금융 생태계를 감안한 설계방안을 제시한다. 선박금융 STO 금융플랫폼 구축효과로 1) 선박금융 참여 소비자 풀(pool) 확대, 2) 금융 참여자 간 거래 활성화를 통한 가치창출, 3) 보완적 혁신을 통한 다양한 파생상품 생성을 논의했다. 이러한 효과는 선박금융 매력도 제고, 해운산업,조선산업 등 생태계 혁신 효과로 이어지며, 해양금융중심지인 부산금융중심지의 발전에도 공헌할 수 있음을 기술하였다.

해양산업의 디지털-탈탄소 전환에 따른 비즈니스모델 변화에 대한인지적 관점의 탐색적 연구

The maritime industry is undergoing significant changes due to digitalization and decarbonization,collectively known as “2D.” This study investigates how these transformations are impacting the industry'sbusiness models. Since the changes are still ongoing, a cognitive approach was used toderive business models, rather than relying on actual case studies. The study presents experimentalmaritime business models that correspond to the four types of business model frameworks (or archetypes),along with recent trends for each model. The research results show that new businessmodels are emerging in various areas, including the commercial and technical fields of the maritimeindustry. This thought-provoking study is significant as a pioneering investigation that will stimulatesubsequent case-based research in academia and provide strategic guidance to market participantsor policy makers in the maritime industry. 통칭하여 “2D”라고 하는 디지털화 및 탈탄소화로 인해 해양 산업이 크게 변화하고 있다. 본 연구는이러한 변화가 산업의 비즈니스모델에 어떤 영향을 미치고 있는지를 탐구하는 것이다. 이러한 변화는여전히 진행 중이기 때문에 실제 사례연구에 의존하기보다는 비즈니스모델을 도출하기 위해 인지적 접근 방식을 사용했다. 본 연구에서는 문헌조사를 통해 4차산업혁명의 주요 비즈니스 모델 프레임워크를도출하며, 이를 바탕으로 해양산업 유형별 비즈니스 모델과 각 모델별 최신 동향을 제시한다. 연구 결과는 해양 산업의 상업적, 기술적 분야를 포함하여 다양한 분야에서 새로운 비즈니즈모델이 등장하고있음을 보여준다. 본 연구는 향후 학계의 사례기반 연구를 활성화하고, 해양산업 분야의 시장참여자나정책입안자에게 전략적 지침을 제공할 수 있는 선구적인 연구로서 의의가 있다.

지속가능전환 시기를 맞은 해양산업의 탄소거래 및 해양금융 생태계 구축 연구

The pace of sustainability transition within the maritime industry has been accelerating. This shift primarily necessitates changes in the industry's heavy reliance on fossil fuel-driven ecosystems. Additionally, numerous sustainability laws and regulations, such as the EU’s CBAM and IMO’s EEXI, have been implemented. This transition is poised to amplify the competitive edge of firms equipped with greater resources, as it introduces substantial operational burdens due to expensive eco-friendly fuel adoption and regulatory compliance. To diverge from the traditional competitive landscape, this paper aims to explore innovative maritime finance models enabling domestic firms to gain competitive advantages on a global scale. Employing analogical reasoning and modeling as a research method, this paper demonstrates that maritime firms can leverage the sustainability transition by aligning sustainable maritime operations with ETS (Emission Trading Schemes). Expanding on this novel approach, the paper delves into potential connections between CCM (Compliance Carbon Market), VCM (Voluntary Carbon Market), and digital asset exchanges. This newly proposed digital/net-zero maritime ecosystem holds the potential to significantly impact the shipping, shipbuilding, and ship finance industries, positioning Busan as a sustainable maritime finance hub. This study holds significance as pioneering research that may stimulate subsequent case-based studies and offer strategic guidance to market participants and policymakers as the maritime industry moves towards a net-zero transition.

부산 금융중심지 발전을 위한 금융허브 조성 메커니즘 규명과 육성에 대한 연구

본 연구는 부산국제금융중심지의 글로벌 금융허브로의 도약과 생태계 조성을 위해 금융중심지 발전을 위한 프레임워크를 제시하고 이를 기반으로 선진 금융중심지 발전 사례 탐구와 함께 향후 부산의 발전 방안을 논의하였다. 2009년 정부의 서울․부산 금융중심지 지정 이후 금융중심지 육성에 대한 다양한 연구와 전략이 제안되고 정책이 시행되었으나 각 정책 및 전략의 금융중심지 조성을 위한 메커니즘을 확인할 수 있는 논의에는 한계가 있었다. 이러한 한계점을 개선하고자 본 연구는 허브 생태계 조성 이론에 기반해 금융허브 조성을 위한 프레임워크를 제안하였다. 제안한 프레임워크에 기반해 주요 금융중심지 정책들의 메커니즘을 규명하고 이어서 해외금융중심지들의 성장 사례 분석에 활용하였다. 끝으로 규명 메커니즘과 프레임워크에 기반해 부산국제금융중심지의 글로벌 금융허브 발전을 위한 육성 방안을 제안하였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 글로벌 금융중심지 도약을 위한 금융허브 생태계 발현과 육성을 위한 메커니즘을 규명하고 이들을 직관적으로 이해할 수 있는 프레임워크를 허브 생태계 이론에 기반해 제시해 금융중심지 조성 및 육성연구에 공헌하였다. 둘째, 프레임워크를 적용해 부산금융중심지 발전을 위한 지난 정책들을 확인하고 향후 전략 및 정책 개선점에 대해 시사하였다. 셋째, 부산 금융중심지 발전을 위해 디지털, 지속가능, 해양금융허브 조성과 상호연계성의 중요성에 대해 기술하였다. This study presents a framework for the development of a financial hub, aimed at transforming the Busan International Finance Center into a Global Financial Hub. Since the government designated Seoul and Busan as financial hubs in 2009, various studies and strategies have been proposed, and policies implemented to foster financial hubs. However, there were limitations in discussions that could clarify the mechanisms for creating financial hubs with strategy implementations. To address these limitations, this study proposes a framework for creating a financial hub, based on the theory of hub (platform) ecosystem creation. Building on this framework, it elucidates the mechanisms of major financial center policies and then explains the growth of overseas financial centers. Finally, based on the proposed framework, it discusses strategies for nurturing the development of the Busan International Finance Center into a global financial hub.
