Construction vibrations caused by pile driving, blasting, dynamic compaction and movements of large construction equipments may damage neighboring structures and young concrete. Consequently it will bring about delay of construction schedule and economic loss. In this study, propagation characteristics of construction vibrations was examined and the influences to neighboring structures was studied. Accordingly, vibration isolation methods to minimize the damage were proposed.

Location-Based Services(LBS) has been varied and expanded rapidly in local and overseas markets due to technology developments and expanded applications of wireless internet. Location Based Alert Service(LBA) capable of automatically furnishing data when entering or outing a specific location is expected to become one of the most important services in LBS. For LBA operation, it is essential to periodically get location information about moving object. However, this can cause a serious system load because system should continuously and largely receive location information of many moving objects. Existing and current methods for location polling of moving object are not suitable for an efficient location acquisition and a search structure required for LBA. In this study, to acquire large-scaled location information for LBA, a MDR moving object location polling algorithm will be suggested to reduce unnecessary location information and decrease system load by using mobility patterns of moving object. 무선인터넷 기술의 발달과 응용의 확산으로 위치정보를 이용한 위치기반서비스 형태는 더욱더 다양해 지고 있다. 위치기반 서비스 중 특정지역에 진입하거나 벗어날 경우에 자동으로 정보를 제공하는 위치기반 경보서비스는 향후 LBS의 가장 중요한 서비스가 될 것으로 전망된다. 그러나 위치기반 경보서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 대상이 되는 이동체의 위치정보를 주기적으로 빈번하게 조회해야 한다. 이러한 방법은 이동성을 가지는 수많은 이동체의 위치정보를 지속적이면서도 대량으로 조회해야 함으로써 심각한 시스템의 부하와 비용증가를 초래한다. 지금까지 연구되고 있는 이동체를 위한 위치조회 방법은 위치기반 경보서비스를 제공 하기 위한 효율적인 위치조회 및 구조에는 적합하지 않다. 이에 본 논문에서는 위치기반 경보서비스를 제공하기 위해 대용량의 위치정보를 조회함에 있어서, 이동체의 이동 패턴을 이용하여 불필요한 위치정보 조회 회수를 줄임으로써 시스템의 부하를 줄이는 효율적인 이동체 조회 방법을 제시하고 기존의 방법과 비교 실험하고자 한다.

The placing of concrete cannot always be separated from construction activity, operating manufacturing equipment, or transportation system vibrations. Most of the vibration limits used on construction projects have been derived from public-related 189 safety, damage, human tolerance, and plant operation sensitivity considerations, and have not been based on damage threshold limits related to actual concrete strength behavior. In this study, propagation characteristics of construction vibrations was examined and the influences to neighboring structures was studied. Accordingly, allowable vibration criteria not to caused damage on neighboring structure was compared. Also, vibration isolation methods to minimize the damage were proposed.

It has been estimated that approximately 32 million tons of construction wastes are currently demolished each year in this country. Reusing of construction wastes will help to conserve natural resources, as such sand and gravel, and to secure future supply of reasonably priced aggregates for building and road construction purposes within large urban areas. But quite a little quantity of demolished waste is currently recycled or reused as nonstabilized base or sub-base in highway construction. The rest is dumped or disposed of as filler. However, it is becoming increasingly difficult and expensive for demolition contractors to dispose building waste and demolition rubbles. Accordingly, large-scale recycling of demolished waste is required to the solution of a growing waste disposal problem. The purpose of this study is to examine the current state-of-the -art for what concerns recycled construction wastes and to point out the measures which is needed in order to promote safe and enonomical recycling of the such wastes.

Recently, the amount of concrete waste has been increased greatly according to increasing of the re-build and renovation works of old urban buildings. Thus, it is getting regarded as very urgent problem for the sake of recycling resources and decreasing industrial wastes to try to re-use of concrete waste. In these respects, this study has been aimed to establish inclusive re-use technology and management system, and to verify the structural safety and reliability of re-use members such as floor slab, the research has been carried out in case of slab to slab connection which composed by H shaped steel beam and stud shear connectors. For re-using demolished member of reinforced concrete slab, considering the size of members by transportation problem, the maximum length of member is 9.9m and the width is 3.25m.
