Life cycle data of nuclear power plant is used for not only EPC(Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and O&M(Operation and Maintenance) stage but also to planning of new nuclear power plant. Data integration across the whole life cycle is most important thing to develop the integrated information management system for life cycle support of nuclear power plant. One of international standard data model for the exchange of product life cycle data, ISO 10303-239 PLCS (Product Life Cycle Support) provides well designed methodology for information management for the life cycle support of a product. In this study, project team developed Plant Lifecycle Information Management System, called PLIMS, based on PLCS information model. This paper introduce the development process and result of PLIMS to support, (1) heterogeneous data integration and management, (2) information representation for the different life cycle stage, (3) data management for the configuration management of nuclear power plant.

Most of plant facilities are modified many times, often without proper support needed to confirm with their design base and to update their engineering data, maintenance rules and operating procedures. This lack of equilibrium between the requirements, design information and physical plant still remains a significant issue. Configuration management is a process of identifying and documenting the characteristics of a plant"s structures, systems and components, and of ensuring that changes to these characteristics are properly developed, assessed, approved, issued, implemented and verified. This study focuses on how to manage the major equipment engineering information of nuclear power plant using systems engineering V-model approach, and proposes a data model to manage the information in relation to manage their life cycle. In addition, this study conducted a research and development project in nuclear power plant, and developed a prototype system based on this approach to verify its feasibility. It has been demonstrated that this approach can provide not only provide an explicit configuration management and control on the information, but can also provide a more efficient method to integrate, manage and visualize complex plant information.
ISO 15926 을 이용한 선박 기자재 검색 시스템 개발

ISO 15926 is the international standard model for information integration in the field of process plant life cycle.This model to define a reference data library, but it is most of the information integration based. Part7 of ISO 15926 is about how to implement such regulations. Part7 by reference in the field of ship data to develop and expand the library, we can utilize to integrate information between two kinds of CAD systems in the field of ship. Ship equipments studies using the ISO 15926 classification system was established. And two kinds of CAD systems in independent neutral library for research was carried out. Neutral library can be stored on a server in the prototype implementation. In this study, based on standardized neutral library was built. Ship equipments between differenent CAD systems, including the next generation of CAD systems, in order to take advantage of a system that can perform a search of ontology was developed.
