The effects of $B_2O_3-SiO_2-R(R;CaO,\;BaO,\;ZnO,\;Bi_2O_3)$ borosilicate glass system on the sintering behavior and microwave dielectric properties of ceramic/glass composites were investigated as functions of modifier, glass addition ($30{\sim}50\;vol%$) and sintering temperature ($500{\sim}900^{\circ}C$ for 2 hrs). The addition of 50 and 45 vol% glass ensured successful sintering below $900^{\circ}C$. Sintering characteristics of the composites were well described in terms of modifier. Borosilicate glass enhanced the reaction with $Al_{2}O_{3}$ to form pores, second phases and liquid phases, which was responsible to component of modifier. Dielectric constant (${\varepsilon}_{r},\;Q{\times}f_{o}$) and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (${\tau}_{f}$) of the composite with 50 and 45 vol% glass contents($B_{2}O_{3}:SiO_{2}:R=25:10:65$) demonstrated A-CaBS(7.8, 2,560 GHz, -81ppm/$^{\circ}C$), A-BaBs(5.8, 3.130 GHz, -64 ppm/$^{\circ}C$), A-ZnBS(5.7, 17,800 GHz, -21 ppm/$^{\circ}C$), A-BiBs(45 vol% glass in total)(8.3, 2,700 GHz, -45 ppm/$^{\circ}C$) which is applicable to substrate requiring an low dielectric properties.

Sinterability and microwave dielectric properties of $xZWO_{4}-(1-x)TiO_{2}$ ceramic systems with zinc-borosilicate glass and $TiO_{2}$ contents for LTCC(Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramics) were investigated. The addition of $3{\sim}10\;wt%$ ZBS glass ensured the sinterability below $900^{\circ}C$. In general, increasing ZBS glass content seemed to enhance the sinterability, but the quality factor($Qxf_{0}$) significantly decreased due to the formation of an excessive liquid and second phases. As for the addition of $TiO_{2}$, the dielectric constant(${\varepsilon}_{r}$) and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency(${\tau}_{f}$) showed to increase, while the quality factor($Qxf_{0}$) did not show an apparent change. The composition of $0.7xZnWO_{4}-0.3TiO_{2}$ ceramics sintered at $900^{\circ}C$ with 5 wt% ZBS glass demonstrated 21.6 in dielectric constant(${\varepsilon}_{r}$), 14,800 in quality factor($Qxf_{0}$), and $+5\;ppm/^{\circ}C$ in temperature coefficient of resonant frequency(${\tau}_{f}$).

$xCa(Li_{1/4}Nb_{3/4})O_{3}-(1-x)CaTiO_{3}$ ceramics were sintered under the presence of zinc-borosilicate(ZBS) glass and resultant microwave dielectric properties were investigated with a view to applying the composition to low-temperature co-fired ceramic(LTCC) technology. The addition of $5{\sim}15wt%$ ZBS glass ensured successful sintering below $900\;^{\circ}C$. In general, increased addition of ZBS glass increased sinterability but it decreased the quality factor($Q{\times}f_{0}$) significantly due to the formation of an excessive liquid and second phases. As for the addition of $CaTiO_3$, the dielectric constant(${\epsilon}_r$) and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency(${\tau}_f$) increased, while the quality factor($Q{\times}f_{0}$) did not show an apparent change. The sintered $0.9Ca(Li_{1/4}Nb_{3/4})O_{3}-0.1CaTiO_{3}$ specimen at $900\;^{\circ}C$ with 10 wt% ZBS glass demonstrated 39.6 in dielectric constant(${\epsilon}_r$), 4,400 in quality factor$(Q{\times}f_{0}),\;and\;-11ppm/^{\circ}C$ in temperature coefficient of resonant frequency(${\tau}_f$).

The effects of lead-borosilicate glass frits on the sintering behavior and microwave dielectric properties of ceramic-glass composites were investigated as functions of glass composition of glass addition ($10{\sim}50vol%$), softening point (Ts) of the glass, and sintering temperature of the composites ($500{\sim}900^{\circ}C$ for 2 h). The addition of 50 vol% glass ensured successful sintering below $900^{\circ}C$. Sintering characteristics of the composites were well described in terms of Ts. PbO addition in to the glass enhanced the reaction with $Al_{2}O_3$ to form liquid phase and $PbAl_{2}Si_{2}O_8$, which was responsible to lower Ts. Dielectric constant(${\epsilon}_r$), $Q{\times}f_0$ and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (${\tau}_f$) of the composite with 50 vol% glass contents ($B_{2}O_{3}:PbO:SiO_{2}:CaO:Al_{2}O_3$ = 5:40:45:5:5) demonstrated 8.5, 6,000 GHz, $-70\;ppm/^{\circ}C$, respectively, which is applicable to substrate requiring a low dielectric constant. When the same glass composition was applied sinter $MgTiO_3\;and\;TiO_2,\;at\;900^{\circ}C$ (50 vol% glass in total), the properties were 23.8, 4,000 GHz, $-65ppm/^{\circ}C$ and 31.1, 2,500 GHz, $+80ppm/^{\circ}C$ respectively, which is applicable to filter requiring an intermidiate dielectric constant.

본 논문은 전류불연속 제어에 의한 고역률, 고효율로 동작되는 승압형 AC-DC 컨버터에 대해 연구된다. 전류불 연속 제어 컨버터는 제어회로 구성이 간단하고 구성소자의 수를 줄일 수 있는 장점을 가진다. 제안된 컨버터의 입력전류는 듀티율 일정제어에 의한 교류 입력전압의 크기에 비례된 불연속적인 정현파 형태로 된다. 그 결과 입력역률은 거의 단위역률로 주어지며 듀티율 일정제어에 의해 제어기법이 간단하다. 또한 제안된 컨버터의 스위칭 소자들은 부분공진 기법에 의해 소프트 스위칭 동작으로 되어 스위칭 손실이 매우 낮으며 컨버터의 효율을 증대시킨다. 부분공진 회로부는 승압용으로 사용된 인덕터와 무손실 스너버 커패시터에 의해 설계되어 컨버터의 회로 토폴로지가 간단하다. 제안된 컨버터는 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 실험결과에 의해 그 타당성이 입증된다. This paper is studied on boost AC-DC converter of high power factor and high efficiency for discontinuous current control. The converter operated in discontinuous current control eliminates the complicated circuit control requirement, and reduces a number of components. The input current waveform in proposed circuit is got to be a discontinuous sinusoidal form in proportion to magnitude of ac input voltage under the constant duty cycle switching. Therefore, the input power factor is nearly unity and the control circuit is simple. Also the switching devices in a proposed circuit are operated with soft switching by the partial resonant method. The result is that the switching loss is very low and the efficiency of system is high. The partial resonant circuit makes use of a inductor using step up and loss-less snubber capacitor. The circuit topology of the converter is simplified. Some simulative results on computer and experimental results are included to confirm the validity of the analytical results.

We attempted to investigate the effect of acid rain on the change of surface conditions, and resistance to tracking and erosion of epoxy resins: First, we measured the contact angle, and weight reduction to investigate the change of surface conditions. And, from the results of a series of experiment, we concluded that the acid rain attacked epoxy resins, which lead to the increase of surface roughness and the decrease of contact angle. And second, we adopted IEC publ. 587 method to measure the resistance to tracking and erosion of epoxy resins, and as highly affected the deposited specimen in the tracking resistance as in the erosion resistance.

Optimum conditions for the optical coupling phenomenon were studied through the BPM simulation technique for the design of directional optical divice which consists of the directional coupler. The parameters used in the simulation mere 1.5[㎛] wavelengths for light source, 3[㎛] of waveguide width. 2.25 of waveguide refractive index. 2.2 of substrate refracvive index, 3[㎛] of gap between wareguides and 18[V] of applied voltage respectively. Therfore. the optical paramaters will become efficient and easy using the electrode process to the optical device(modulator) fabrication.

In this work ? single crystals were grown by the chemical transporting reaction(CTR) method using high purity(6N) elements. The structure of grown ZnAl2S4 single crystals were cubic structure. The optical energy band gap was indirect band gap and the temperature dependence of optical energy gap was fitted well to Varshni equation. Also, the entropy, enthalpy and heat capacity were deduced from the temperature dependence of optical energy gap.

The (Sr0.85·Ca0.15)TiO₃+0.006Nb₂O5 ceramics were fabricated to form semiconducting ceramics by sintering at about 1350[℃] in a reducing atmosphere. After being fired in a reducing atmosphere, metal oxides(CuO) was painted on the both surface of the specimens to diffuse to the grain boundary. XRD analysis results showed that the specimens used in this study have the cubic perovskite structure. The Voltage-current characteristics of specimens used in this study appears that it is due to space charge condensed to interface between grain and grain boundary. The conduction mechanism of the specimens observed in the temperature range of 20~125[℃], and is divided into three regions having different mechanism as the current increased: the region I shows the ohmic conduction. The region II can be explained by the Poole-Frenkel emission theory, and the region III is dominated by the tunneling effect.
