        영양교육이 이상지혈증 산업체 근로자의 영양지식 및 건강개선에 미치는 효과

        This study was designed to investigate the impact of a 12-week nutrition education program on 32 male industrial workers (average age: 44.5±3.8 yrs, work duration period: 20.1±5.6 yrs) diagnosed as having dyslipidemia in a medical checkup at their workplace. This program was implemented with a conceptual framework on strengthening self-efficacy for the improvement of the health conditions of the workers. Most of all, the study exhibited benefits in the industrial workers by ameliorating the risk factors associated with dyslipidemia via changes in dietary behaviors, nutritional knowledge, and attitudes, as well as anthropometric and biochemical parameters. After the nutrition education, overall lifestyle, including the ratios of smoking (P<0.05) and drinking (P<0.01), significantly improved. Exactly 65.6% of the subjects reported that their dietary habits changed. Body weight, BMI, percentage of body fat, and waist circumference all significantly decreased (P <0.001). The systolic (P<0.01) as well as diastolic blood pressures (P<0.001) decreased. Moreover, the degree of increase in serum HDL-cholesterol was appreciable (P<0.001), and the atherogenic index also decreased (P<0.01). Further, risk factors related to metabolic syndrome in subjects significantly decreased (P <0.001). The average scores for nutrition knowledge increased from 9.3 to 17.7 points (P<0.001). All of the participants agreed on the need for a nutrition education program at their workplace. Further, it should be pointed out that the participants strongly indicated the need for continuing nutrition intervention.

        정신장애인이 인식하는 직업유지요인에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 정신장애인의 직업경험을 통해 인식하고 있는 직업의 의미와 직업유지요인을 분석하기 위해 송국클럽하우스의 사례관리대상자 중에서 6개월 이상 독립취업을 하고 있는 정신장애인 5명을 대상으로 개별적으로 심층면접을 실시, 분석하는 질적 연구방법을 통해 연구하였다. 조사대상자들은 직업의 의미를 가치 있는 사람과 경제적 안정감을 제공하는 것으로 인식하고 있었으며, 정신자애인의 직업유지에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 자신감, 대인관계의 원만성, 고용주 및 상사의 지지, 전문가의 기지로 나타났다. 이러한 요인들 중에서 정신장애인의 개인특성으로서 정신장애인 스스로의 주관적인 자신감이 직업유지에 가장 영향이 있다는 사실을 밝혀낸 것은 중요한 실천적 의의를 가질 수 있다. 또한 정신장애인의 주관적인 직업경험에 의해서 나타난 요인이므로 재활 전문기관의 전문가들에게 실천적 함의를 제시하는 데 의의가 있다. 본 조사의 연구결과를 통한 실천적 함의로서는 취업 전 프로그램과 취업 후 프로그램 적용이 중요함을 제시하였다. 직업재활담당자는 정신장애인의 직업유지를 활성화하기 위해서 지속적인 취업장 방문과 직장 내에서 야기되는 다양한 대인관계의 어려움에 대한 해결, 고용주와 협조적인 관계형성을 통해 정신장애인의 직업유지를 도모하는 방법을 제시하였다. 그리고 정신장애인의 가족에 대한 개입을 적극적으로 시도함으로써 정신장애인의 사회통합에 기여할 수 있는 옹호와 권리를 대별할 수 있는 가족의 역할을 강조하였다. 향우 계속적으로 실증적 심층연구를 통해 정신자애인의 직업유지요인과 직업유지의 방해요인을 정신자애인의 시각에서 조명해 봄으로써 정신자애인의 개별적 특성과 능력에 맞는 맞춤형 직업재활서비스를 적용하려는 노력이 이루어져야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study is to look into the significance of jobs and job maintenance factors which have been perceived by mentally disable persons through job experiences. For the purpose, this researcher conducted a qualitative research of 5 mentally disabled persons, who had been employed for more than 6 months under management by Songguk Club House, by way of making profound interviews of the persons on one-to-one basis. The interviewees responded that jobs were significant in that they ensured value as human being and economic stability. Factors influencing mentally disable persons to maintain their jobs included self-confidence, smooth interpersonal relationships and supports by employers and seniors and by professionals. This can be also demonstrated by previous studies. Such factors as mentioned above have practical implications for rehabilitation facility staffs because they were emerged and developed through mentally disabled persons' direst job experiences. For such implications, results of this study showed the necessity of the development of post-employment programs rather than pre-employment ones. The study also suggested that vocational rehabilitation workers should promote mentally disable persons' job maintenance by regularly visiting places where the persons work and helping them cope better with difficulties related to interpersonal relations and establish collaborative relationships with employers. Finally, the researcher herein attempted positive interventions into families of mentally disabled persons, emphasizing family roles in representing rights of the mentally disabled and contributing to the persons' social integration.

        가족교육이 정신분열병환자 가족의 불안과 스트레스 감소에 미치는 영향

        This study assumes that if the schizophrenia patient's families have the family education which offers the information about the correct knowledge in schizophrenia and the reduce method of anxiety and stress, this schizophrenic families will do well with more stable primary caregiver's role. Accordingly, the purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of the structured program of family education in helping the stable emotion state of families in the process of schizophrenic's rehabilitation. The program deals with the general features such as the causes, processes, symptoms and treatments, prognosis of schizophrenia, the effects and side effects of chemotherapy, the importance of the rehabilitation, specific copying methodes of schizphranic's behavioral traits, copying stratigies of families anxiety and stress and the usable resources. The results are as follows : 1. Families' negative recognition changes toward schizophrenia and patient who have a schizophrenia, The hypothesis "The family's negative recognition toward schizophrenia and patient who has a schizophrenia would be changed after the participation in the education program" was supported by the following results. The results of pretest and posttest of family education between participated family group and non participated family group are as follows. In the education group, scores of Recognition Changes Questionnaire at the post-test were significantly higher than those at the pre-test. 2.Schizophrenia Families' anxiety level changes The hypothesis "The schizphrenia family's anxiety level would be reduced after the participation in the education program" was supported by the following results. The results of pretest and posttest of family education between participated family group and non-participated family group are as follows: In the education group, scores of anxiety level change scale. at the post test were significantly lower than those the pretest. However the score of anxiety level in comparison group was statistically higher rather than pretest. Hence this hypothesis "The schizophrenia family's anxiety level would be reduced after the participation in the education program" was supported. 3. Schizphrenia Families' stress level changes The hypothesis "The schizophrenia family's stress level would be reduced after the participation in the education program" was supported by the following results. The results of pretest and posttest of family education between participated family group and non-participated family group are as follows. In the education group, scores of stress level changes scale. at the post-test were signicantly lower than those the pre test. In conclusion, the family education program was effcetive in changes negative recognition of families toward schizophrenia and patient who has schizophrenia, reducing of anxiety and stress related to the patients. Together with this conclusion, the researcher presented a suggestion for the necessity of the futher study on not only consider each clinical settings and individule characteristic and needs of families' member but also the development and application of family education program which is more specific and comprehensive and continuing in its contents and format.
