영아교사의 민감성과 보육교사직 헌신도가 전문성 발달에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 영아교사의 전문성 발달에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 변인들에 관한 연구를 하여 영아교사가 전문성을 갖고 양질의 보육서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 도움을 주고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 경기도와 인천시의 어린이집에 근무하는 영아반 보육교사 413명이다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영아교사의 사회인구학적 변인에 따라 교사의 민감성, 교직헌신, 전문성 발달에 차이가 있는지를 알아본 결과 연령에 따라서는 영아교사의 연령이 낮을수록 교직헌신, 전문성 발달을 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 학력에 따라서는 영아교사의 학력이 높을수록 민감성, 교직헌신, 전문성 발달을 높게 인식하고 있었으며, 경력에 따라서는 영아교사의 경력이 많을수록 전문성 발달을 높게 인식하고 있었다. 자격증 취득기관에 따라서는 4년제 대학에서 자격증을 취득한 경우 교직헌신, 전문성 발달에서 높게 인식하고 있으며, 근무시설유형에 따라서는 국공립·법인 어린이집에 근무하는 교사와 직장 어린이집에서 근무하는 교사가 교직헌신, 전문성 발달에서 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 영아교사의 전문성 발달에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 살펴본 결과 ‘전문성 발달 전체’와 ‘자기이해의 발달’과 ‘생태적 발달’에서는 교직헌신이, ‘지식과 기술의 발달’에서는 교사의 민감성이 상대적 영향력이 가장 큰 변인으로 나타났다. This study investigated the effects of infant teacher's sensibility and their commitment to teaching profession on infant teacher's professionalism. A survey was conducted of 450 infant teachers. Data were analyzed by ANOVA, Scheffe, and hierarchical regression. Infant teacher's level of commitment to teaching profession was differed according to their academic background and type of facilities. Infant teacher's professionalism was differed according to their academic background, years of experience, and type of facilities. Of the socio-demographic background variables, sensibility, commitment to teaching profession, teacher's commitment to teaching profession was the best predictor of teacher's professionalism. This provides practical suggestions for the Korean childcare policy and system.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between child rearing attitudes of grandmothers and the aggressiveness of children with working mothers. The subjects of this study were 154 four to seven year olds children and their grandmothers. Questionnaire was used to evaluate child rearing attitudes of grandmothers and children's aggressiveness was assessed by a teacher. In case of grandmother's affection was low, children's aggression against others and verbal aggression appeared high. Besides, children's verbal aggression and aggression against people and objects appeared to be in a positive correlation with grandmother's authoritative control.

영유아교사의 자아존중감, 직무만족도가 교수효능감에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 영유아교사의 자아존중감과 직무만족도 교수효능감이 각각 어떠한 관계가 있는지 살펴보고 유아교사의 자아존중감과 직무만족도가 교수효능감에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 어린이집에 근무하는 교사 228명을 대상으로 자아존중감, 직무만족도, 교수효능감을 설문조사하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사의 일반적 배경과 자아존중감, 직무만족도, 교사효능감의 하위영역 중에 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 특히 자아존중감과 직무만족도, 교수효능감의 하위영역 간에 높은 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 영유아 교사의 자아존중감과 직무만족도는 교수효능감에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 영유아교사들은 영유아발달에 교사가 중요한 역할을 미친다고 생각하고 있었으며, 본인의 가르치는 일에 대해서도 자신감을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. The study examined the effects of edu-care teacher’ self-esteem and job satisfaction for teaching efficacy. Subjects were 228 teachers at a child care centers in Gyeonggi-do. In order to examine the teachers’ self-esteem, job satisfaction, and teaching efficacy, Park’s (2003) survey of self-esteem, Jorde-Bloom’s(1989) ECJSS, and Riggs & Enochs’s(1990) STEBI were used. The results were as follows. First, there were high levels of relationships between self-esteem and job satisfaction, between job satisfaction and teaching efficacy, and between self-esteem and teaching efficacy. Second, teaching efficacy was positively affected by teachers’ self-esteem and job satisfaction. Teachers perceived themselves to play an important role in early child development. Also, they had confidence in their own teaching abilities.
