졸 - 겔법에 의한 SiO2 - TiO2 코팅 분체의 제조

For coating the outer-surface of SiO₂ particles with TiO₂ compound, the SiO₂ particles are uncoated from seed form and reacted with hydrolyzed Titanium(IV) ethoxide(TTIP) to develop the characteristics of chemical, physical properties of SiO₂, TiO₂ fine powder formation. The monodisperse SiO₂-TiO₂ coating fine powder was obtained with mixing the ethanol solution, which SiO₂ seed dispersed and solution of TTIP dissolve in ethanol. The three main factors of reaction are the TTIP concentration, the amount of SiO₂ seed and the concentration of added H₂O. For the structural study, FT-IR, SEM, XRD are used to clear the synthesis of fine powders. The good results were obtained with the porous spherical of amorphous of SiO₂ particleshapes and the effect of crystallization of SiO₂-TiO₂ molecular depend on the TiO₂ condition and finally crystallized aboved 400℃.

Alkylation of phenol with t-butanol on zeolite Y in liquid phase batch reactor was studied. The main products were 2,4-di-t-butylphenol, o-t-butylphenol, p-t-butylphenol, last of these was wanted product. In order to enhance the selectivity of p-t-butylphenol, optimum conditions were recommended 600℃ calcination temperature, 140℃ reaction temperature, 0.5 molar ratio of reactants over zeolite Y. P-t-butylphenol was formed with 87% isomer selectivity at optimum conditions after reaction 4 hrs.
