본 논문에서는 리스프 전용 기계(LISP MACHINE)에서의 리스트 처리가 실시간 방식 또는 대화식 방식을 지원할 수 있는 폐기 기억 환수 알고리즘을 제시한다. 이 알고리즘은 리스프 기계내에 리스트 처리 전용 프로세서와 폐기 기억 환수 전용 프로세서가 세마포를 통하여 공유 기억 장치를 액세스하면서 각각의 작업을 동시에 처리하도록 한다. 소규모의 기억 장치로 높은 효율을 얻을 수 있으며 특히 리스트 처리가 중단될 필요가 없으므로 프로그램의 생산성이 향상될 수 있다. 본 알고리즘은 Concurrent PASCAL에 의해 시뮬레이트되었다.

Resistance Spot Welding (RSW) is the method for joining two overlapped base materials when high pressure and current is applied from electrodes. Due to the safety problem such high pressure and voltage, automation should be early adopted. In this paper, the spot welding is developed as a computational model of wheel house from GM Korea and the welding condition such as weld sequence is considered. The computational analysis is preceded as a static and elasto-plastic procedure and used thermal expansion coefficient represents a dependency of spot volume between two panels. In case of welding sequence, the efficiency which depends on the distance between current spot point and the other is calculated in several cases.

Additive manufacturing via 3D printing is a new processing technology that can be used in many areas to address the shortcomings of conventional cutting manufacturing. However, the dimensional accuracy of the output math data and the drawbacks of additive manufacturing, including differences in the material properties of the placement method, are among the issues that must be studied in the future. In this paper, several manufacturers of 3D printers that were widely used in the automotive industry were selected, and several output methods and materials were chosen among domestically produced printers. Based on the arrangement method, standard specimens were manufactured in compliance with ASTM, and the mechanical properties of each orthotropic material were measured. Then, based on the material, stiffness was quantitatively compared, and a volume reduction model was presented through an optimization analysis.

Recently, 3D printing (3DP) is spotlighted as an innovative production method having potentials to change the manufacturing businesses in various industries. Also, in automotive industry, companies widely recognize the 3D printing technology as a promising manicuring method, so that they utilize 3D printers in their design, development, research and production processes. In automotive industries, however, the application of 3D printing technology is still quite limited to design processes due to the low cost-effectiveness and the lack of engineering reliability. Especially, the selective laser sintering (SLS) 3D printers, known as offering high engineering quality and durability of products, are popularly used in auto part development processes, the dimensional displacements of the 3D printed parts, however, hinder automakers from utilizing the technology directly to enhance their development process. The SLS 3D printers normally produce curved shapes due to thermal deformation (thermal expansion and thermal contraction) caused in the powder sintering process, which accompanies two-phase deformations. In this research, we aim to investigate and analyze the deformation tendencies of SLS 3D printed samples by sizes, shapes, locations in the platform (on 3D Systems’ sPro60 SD). At the end of the paper, we propose an algorithm to predict the deformation and calibrate pointbased 3D cad STL files of samples to mitigate the dimensional deformation with simple shaped samples for the illustrative purposes.

A wide range of industries are applying 3D printing technology in their fields, since the 3D printing technology is the most important research topic in the world. Most automotive industry has already recognized 3D printing technology as a promising manicuring method, so that they utilize 3D printers in their design development, research and production processes. Selective laser sintering (SLS) process which is widely used in auto part development process, however, hinder automakers from utilizing the technology directly to enhance their development process. In other words, SLS process causes curved shapes due to thermal deformation -thermal expansion and thermal contraction, in the powder sintering and cooling process, accompanies multi-phase changes of the raw materials. In this research, we aim to investigate and analyze the deformation pattern of SLS 3D printed samples by size, shape, location in SLS platform (using 3D Systems’ sPro60 SD).
