SKT is consisted of skullcap radix, knope-sedge radix and trametes mushroom. SKT mixture extract has been usedfor curing breast cancer and cervical cancer as a folk medicine without any kind of experimental evidence to support the ration-ales for its clinical use. This study was undertaken to investigate the antitumor efects and toxicity of SKT. Tumor was induced106 cells/mouse) into abdominal skin in ICR mice and SKT application (5 mg/mouse, p.o.) was initiated 4 days prior to tumor induction and lasted for 42 days. SKT significantly inhibited not only tumorgrowth but also metastasis of i.v. implanted melanoma cells into lung and showed prolonged life span of tumor bearing mice.The combined theraphy of SKT with doxorubicin was more efective against tumor metastasis into lung. SKT almostly recov-ered serum SGPT to normal level of galactosamine/LPS-induced hepatitis mice. High dose of SKT did not show any acute sideeffects. But, in vitro SKT did not inhibit the growth of melanoma cels, which suggests that the antitumor efects of SKT mightbe menifested by indirect mechanisms.

This research is the case study on the life of the elementary school students who experience the transcultural life in the childhood. From the viewpoint of the TCK (Third Culture Kid), we observed the life of the unaccredited school students in Vietnam and we categorized the result into following three cases: 1. The transcultural experience of the unaccredited school student in Vietnam become one's strengths. They can usually adapt theirselves to new circumstances. However, they sometimes become confused about their identity in their adolescence. 2. The unaccredited school student in Vietnam is usually hindered in their study because of their unstable educational environment. In most cases, their Korean ability is not enough for the learning at the class. 3. The unaccredited school student in Vietnam meet and say goodbye over and over again through their life. Sometimes they become confused about the different culture and they are sticken with a victim mentality. In the future, we want to develop the various case studies to understand the TCKs well and help them to come up with an effective counterplan.
