Although durability test of the chassis part is required at automotive development the alternative study has been progressive lead to various fatigue analysis method due to the development cost and time reduction. In this study, con-elation of the proto durability test and analysis is investigated and using this result we are going to predict exact fatigue life and crack initiation position without durability test. Lead to comparison of the roll static stiffness test with analysis, reliability of the finite element model is going to insure. The stress-life curve of the product is made up lead to correlation of the roll durability test and analysis and this curve is used to the product design to predict target fatigue life or stress revel.

Torsion beam axle applied widely rear suspension is lighter and more effective than other rear suspension of vehicle because of its simple structure. But design of torsion beam profile is difficult by reason that it is satisfy with vehicle motion performance and durability performance. This study is to investigate roll rate of torsion beam axle and max stress of torsion beam profile at roll behavior about the design factors of torsion beam profile using design of experiment. Orthogonal design of experiment is performed about six factors to verify effect of the design factors. Finally full factorial design of experiment is performed about effective three design factors and therefore an approximate function including main effect and interactive effect of three factors is made to design easily.
