The aims of this study is to examine the effects of the changes in HRT(Hydraulic Retention Time) and media charge in a water-mill, among other operation factors, on the nitrogen and phosphorus removal in order to use up-flow anaerobic reactors, anoxic reactors and water-mill aerobic reactors for sewage treatment. The extension of HRT improved the nitrogen removal efficiency, however the removal pattern was constant regardless of HRT. The removal of phosphorus was constant (80%-90%) regardless of the change in HRT. The removal rate with change in influx load varied such that at the OLR (Organic Load Rate) of 1-3 kg/d, the T-N removal efficiency was 80.7%-88.9% and the T-P removal efficiency was 82.9%-89.3% while at the NLR (Nitrogen Loading Rate) of 0.108-0.156 kg/d the removal efficiencies were 80.7-88.9% (T-N) and 82.9-89.3% (T-P). The analyses of the nitrogen and phosphorous removal characteristics with the C/N and C/P ratio showed that the mean T-N removal rate was 88% at the C/N ratio of 1.2-2.6, and that the mean T-P removal rate was 86% at the C/P ratio of 7.2-14.1. Also, the analysis of nitrogen and phosphorous removal characteristics were analyzed in relation to media charge. The comparison between with and without media charge in the water-mill showed that while the nitrogen removal efficiencies were 86-94% and 85-89% respectively, the difference of phosphorous removal efficiencies were between the two conditions was not significant, thus it suggested that the media charge has less effect on the removal efficiency of phosphorous compared to that of nitrogen.

The objective of this research is to determine generally applicable design principles for the development of low NOx burner which is used for high efficiency industrial boiler. In case of the high efficiency industrial boiler, combustion chamber is smaller than that of general boiler. So furnace volume heat release rate is relatively high. The experimental study has been mainly motivated to obtain generally applicable design for the Rapid Mix Combustor. It is the design concept of the front premixed burner that fuel and air are mixed near the ignition point. And strong internal recirculation zone, which is caused by high swirling flow, is developed on the centerline of the flame. By the combustion product in the boiler furnace recirculated into the flame, peak flame temperature is suppressed, and flame temperature gradient is nearly uniform. According to this, thermal NOx and prompt NOx formation is simultaneously minimized.

Power transformer protective relay should block the tripping during magnetizing imrush and rapidly operate the tripping during internal faults. But traditional approaches maloperate in the case of magnetizing inrush with low second harmonic component and internal faults with high second harmounic component. To enhance the fault detection sensitivities of conventional technuques, flux-differential current derivative curve by fuzzy theory approaches is used. This paper deals with fuzzy logic based protective relaying for power transformer. The proposed fuzzy based relaying algorithm consisits of flux-differential current derivative curve, harmonics restraint, and precentage differential characteristic curv. The proposed relaying was tested with relaying signals obtained from Salford EMTP simulation package and showed a fast and accurate trip operation.

최근 웹의 활성화로 인하여 인터넷이 대중화되면서 지리 정보 시스템 분야에서도 웹 기반의 공간 데이타의 검색 및 관리의 필요성이 대두되었다. 또한, 지리 정보 시스템에서 다루는 공간 데이타는 가변적이고 대용량이기 때문에 이러한 데이타를 효율적으로 처리하기 위해서는 공간 OODBMS의 사용이 적합하다. 이러한 웹 기반 공간 OODBMS를 사용하는 실제 응용프로그램에서 다중 사용자 환경에서의 협동 작업이 효율적으로 수행되기 위해서는 개별적인 객체 중심의 버젼 관리에 그치지 않고 일정 영역내의 연관된 버젼화된 객체들의 집합인 복합 객체를 효율적으로 관리하는 것이 절실히 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 다중 사용자 환경에서 연관된 버젼화된 객체들의 집합인 복합 객체를 효율적으로 관리하는 웹기반 공간 OODBMS를 위한 형상 관리자를 설계 및 구현한다. 이를 위해 형상 관리 기능을 지원하는 기존의 시스템인 Open OODB와 RCS, 그리고 SCM에서의 형상 관리 모델에 대해서 알아보고, 형상 관리자의 관리 모델과 자료 구조를 설명한 후 형상 관리자 설계시의 고려사항에 대해서 언급한다. 마지막으로, 형상 관리자의 구성 모듈과 형상 관리자 API에 대하여 기술한다.

We studied the possibility on the application of the Thermophilic Aerobic Oxidation (TAO) process to anaerobic digestate stabilization. In treating digestate with TAO reactor the internal temperature of the reactor was increasing higher and $51^{\circ}C$ and over was maintained after 6 days on. The physiochemical compositions of liquids increased from pH 8.1 to 9.8 and EC decreased from 29.8 to 12.0 mS/cm in treating process of digestate with TAO reactor. CODcr decreased from 22,654 to 18,843 mg/L, showed about 16.82% of remove efficiency. TN and $NH_4-N$ decreased from 4,813 to 1,733 mg/L, from 3,815 to 812 mg/L respectively, which showed about 64.0% and 78.7% of removal efficiency respectively.
