In this study, we surveyed the operating status of the Parachute, Paraglider and Hang Glider in Korea, and compared the Airworthiness Standards of Ultralight Vehicle. We analyzed the procedures of certifications and specifications for Parachute, Paraglider and Hang Glider. We were presented with respected the two kinds of certification methods applied. One of them is a Compliance Certification applied to the manufacture, and one for a Airworthiness Certification to be applied to the operator.

In this study, we surveyed the operating status of the LSA Airpark in Metropolitan Area of Korea, and compared the Airfield Facilities Manual for the Air Leisure. We analyzed the problems of the closure and the currently used of the LSA Airpark, through site visits. We presented the re-usability for the closure LSA Airpark, the improvements for the currently used of the LSA Airpark.

In this study, we surveyed the Marado status of the availability of emergency runway for the LSA, through site visits. For the future progress Marado flight tour operation, for LSA of 4 models with respect to just in case there was an emergency situation analysis of the availability of emergency runway. We analyzed the problems of the sloping runway with the changing elements for the kinetic and potential energy. The Bingo and CH-650 models of LSA are usability emergency runway of Marado for take-off and landing. But the AT-4 and CTLS models of LSA are limited or impossible to use emergency runway of the Marado.

In this study, we surveyed the regulations of the Seaplane base and Sea Lane for the Light Sport Aircraft(LSA), and analyzed the water landing/takeoff roll distance of LSA in Korea. Based on the information, we presented the situation of the Sea Lane and the Sea Lane Protection Zone concept, to ensure the Rectangle type Sea Lane and the Omni direction type Sea Lane. We analyzed the availability elements of the safety of Sea Lane for LSA in Korea. A Rectangle type Sea Lane 350 meters long and 40 meters wide, the diameter 350 meters for the An Omni direction type Sea Lane.

In this study, we surveyed the CAO Dangerous Goods, the Cargo Compartment Classification, IATA DGR(Dangerous Goods Regulations), ICAO Doc. 9284 and the regulation for the Air Transport of Dangerous Goods by Ministry of land Infrastructure and Transport of Korea. We found that the differences between these regulations. Applied according to the type of dangerous goods cargo compartment Class is determined. These regulations have caused confusion was due to the difference, because of the need for revision and amendment regulations were analyzed.

Mountain Aerodromes are aerodromes with special characteristics, provided in mountains for the needs of air transport operations. Mountain Aerodromes are approved for restricted use and are reserved for pilots and aircrafts special requirement. In this study, we surveyed the operating system and the characteristics of the Mountain Aerodromes in the ski stations of the French Alps mountainous region. We introduced the necessity and the relevant regulations for Mountain Aerodromes in Korea.

In this study, we surveyed the operating status of the Runway for the Light Sport Aircraft(LSA) in Korea, and analyzed the Airfield Facilities Manual for the Air Leisure and the Standard Specification for Recreational Airpark Design. Based on the information, we presented the displacement of the threshold concept, to ensure the Runway Length and the Runway Safety Area, and operation of LSA in Korea.

A Continuous Descent Approach(CDA) is defined as a simple, cost-effective, noise and emission abatement technique for any powered aircraft on approach. CDA also can be optimised within energy, speed and safety constraints by avoiding unnecessary flap, air brake and engine thrust. This study includes comparison on fuel consumption between Continuous Descent type and Step Down type by using flight data. In particular, we investigated fuel flow per hour, calibrated airspeed and pressure altitude for all flight time. During descent flight, the fuel consumption of Continuous Descent type was less than the fuel consumption of Step Down type.

The LSA system in Korea was introduced for the development of the aerial sporting and recreational activities. For the development of the aerial sporting and recreational activities, multi-faceted effort is needed. We discussed only for the Aeronautical Information of the aerial sporting and recreational activities. In this study, we surveyed the status of aerial sporting and recreational activities in Korea, and international AIP(Aeronautical Information Publications). We introduced the development plans for the information service of aerial sporting and recreational activities in Korea.

In the present study, which is currently operating domestically and internationally, from the Technical Standards for Flight Safety of Light Sport Aircraft and certification system through a comparative analysis of the LSA Category Airworthiness Certifications documents. In particular, an aircraft type analysis of FAA certified S-LSA that the speed greater than 120 knots LSA manufactured without United States of America. Through the analysis, we presented a revised plan to activation of the domestic aviation leisure sports and the development of the Light Sport Aircraft industry in reality.
