The growing concern of the depletion of fossil fuel reserves and increasing energy demands have encouraged the exploration of new processes for converting biomass into valuable chemicals and renewable fuel components. Among those biomass, cellulosic biomass has attracted much attention as a renewable and sustainable neutral and inexpensive feedstock. However, in order to use cellulosic biomass as an alternative to petro-based platform chemicals, normally consisting of hydrocarbons, the removal of oxygen-rich functional groups is prerequisite. Therefore, we have recently developed the microwave-assisted deoxydehydration reaction with metal catalyst. This synthetic process was sucessfully applied to the synthesis of the adipic acid which is one of the most important dicarboxylic acid, annually produced about 2.5 bilion kilograms and mainly to be used for the monomer of nylon from cellulosic biomass espeacially most abundant monosaccharide galactose.

From this point of veiw, we have recentry developed the synthetic process of the adipic acid which is one of the most important dicarboxylic acid, annually produced about 2.5 bilion kilograms and mainly used for the monomerof nylon from the most abundant monosaccharide galctose. To remove rech oxygen contents, we applied DODH reaction, rhenium catalyzed reduction, and it was successfully appied to afford the desired product with good efficiency. Especiallly, here in we would like to report DODH reaction with heterogeneous aluminium supported rhenium catalyst which intended to esay seperation and recycle.

This study attempts to realize and understand in depth on the issue of career path appealed by female college students, who are on the time of searching for their career path. In previous studies, narcissism is the ongoing major factor in the achievement-oriented culture of modern society. The narcissism classified into Overt narcissism and Covert narcissism according to its aspect and internalized shame as well as dysfuntional career thoughts like perfectionism were meaningful intervening variable related to career. This study was conducted with narrative research method to look into experience by college students with covert narcissism on the process of choosing career path as well as to understand the meaning of the experience. In the light of this, career counselling was conducted for three of college students. As a result of the narrative analysis, the participants of the study frequently talked about perfectionism, shame, and vague frustration when choosing career path. Especially, there were various themes such as ‘perfection’, ‘unstable goal’, ‘emptiness’, ‘seeking for recognition’, ‘anxiety about performance of inferiority’, ‘low self-esteem’. For them, career counseling is a process of overcoming optimal frustration, which means recognizing realistic self and supporting process of career decision to step forward. This study will be used as a basic data for deeper understanding of the cognitive and emotional aspects of covert narcissistic tendency in understanding the career problems of female college students.

In this study, a gasification process has been investigated systematically by numerical method, in order to obtain design and operational concept for the gasification of RPF. A commercial scale of the facility of up-draft fixed bed gasifier was considered with the ignition by plasma torch. Turbulent reacting flow was calculated with the incorporation of the appropriate flow model for the turbulence in free space and inertial resistance for the porous region of waste loading. Further a detailed thermochemical model was employed for estimating the syngas composition by gasification. This study, focused on the S/C (steam/carbon mole ratio) and ER (Equivalence ratio) to show effective gasification process. Results show that better solution of the combined combustion and gasification process strongly and in a delicate manner depends on both equivalence ratio (ER) and steam and carbon mole ratio (S/C). This optimization of the gasifier is evaluated for the following ER (0.25, 0.35, 0.45), S/C (0.0, 2.2, 3). In this study, the gasification efficiency is the best at ER 0.35 and S/C 2.2.
혈관 주위 내망막층 결손이 있는 고도 근시안의 녹내장 진행

목적: 혈관 주위 내망막층 결손이 있는 고도 근시안에서 녹내장이 진행한 증례를 살펴보고자 한다. 증례요약: 고도 근시안을 가진 17세 여자의 안저검사에서 양안 모두 망막혈관 주위에 망막신경섬유층이 갈라진 듯한 양상의 불규칙적인 경계와 균일하지 않은 내부 결손을 가진 이상 부위가 관찰되었다. 녹내장에서 관찰되는 망막신경섬유층 결손보다는 혈관 주위내망막층 결손의 가능성이 높다고 판단하여 치료 없이 관찰하였다. 이후 10년간 경과 관찰한 결과, 안저사진에서 혈관 주위 내망막층결손이 있던 부위 주위로 망막신경섬유층 결손과 시신경테 두께 감소가 관찰되고 빛간섭단층촬영에서도 망막신경섬유층 두께 감소가관찰되었다. 결론: 고도 근시를 가진 청소년기에 발견된 혈관 주위 내망막층 결손을 10년간 지켜본 결과 혈관 주위 내망막층 결손 부위 주위로녹내장이 진행한 것을 관찰할 수 있었다. 혈관 주위 내망막층 결손이 있는 고도 근시안의 녹내장 평가 시 주의가 필요할 것이다.
