        북한 정치사회화 과정에서의 군의 역할

        This study concentrates on analyzing North Korean army`s role in her political-ideologic education. Due to system change of Eastern Europe Communism and Soviet Union, North Korea was faced with serious problem in 1990`s. After death of Kim Il-Sung, she had suffered economic crisis. Hundreds of people become refugees, some people starved. But she keeps her stable system. What is the sources of social integration without the political conflict in North Korea? I contend that the answer is political-ideologic education in North Korea. North Korean army played a very important role in political-ideologic education. It possesses 40% in North Korean population, in short, it is largest group in her society. North Korean army educates its soldiers highly in political-ideologic education. After they transfer reserve troops, they reeducate in long time. We knows, North Korean is political-ideologic state. Therefore, this study stress how North Korean army bring up the soldiers who are willing to devote to themselves to Korean Worker`s Party and Kim Jung-il.

        북한 정치사회화 과정에서의 군의 역할

        본 연구의 목적은 북한 정치사회화 과정에서 북한군의 역할을 분석∙평가하는데 있다. 1990년대 접어들면서 동구사회주의 국가들의 붕괴와 소련연방해체에 따라 북한에도 위기가 몰려왔다. 즉, 1994년 김일성 수령이 사망하고 이어 극심한 경제위기가 엄습한 것이다. 그 결과 수만은 주민이 굶주려 사망하고, 북한을 탈출하였다. 이런 위기 상황 하에서도 누구하나 김정일 체제에 반항하지 않았다. 오히려 주민들로부터 충성과 지지를 받고 있다. 이처럼 안정적으로 북한을 지배할 수 있는 힘의 근원은 무었일까? 이는 집권초기부터 추진해온 정치사회화의 결과라고 판단한다. 그리고 정치사회화 과정의 중심에 북한군이 위치하고 있다. 북한군은 그 조직과 규모면에서 북한 전체 인구의 약 40%를 차지하는 북한사회에서 가장 큰 대규모 집단이다. 그들은 정치사상교육을 조직적으로 받고 있으며, 전역 후에도 예비군으로서 철저한 통제 속에서 장기간 재교육을 받고 있다. 북한은 자타가 공인하는 사상강국이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 북한 최대조직 북한군을 어떤 목표와 방법으로 정치사회화시켜 김정일 체제에 절대 충성하는 혁명전사로 육성하였는지에 중점을 두고 연구하고자 한다.       • 북한군 정치사상교육에 관한 연구

        North Korea keeps her social system under ones despotic for half century. There is not any ruller in totalitarian nation everywhere. After death of Kim Il-Sung, she had economic crisis, but she keeps her stable system. What is the sources of social integration without the political conflict in North Korea? What is the reason that North Korean people have the absolute royalty of Kim Il-Sung and Kim Jung-il and support the their system? This study stresses that the reason results from political-ideologic education in North Korea. North Korea has noticed the importance of political-ideologic education since she builded the nation. And she has controled the political- ideologic education systemically and uniformly. The purpose of political- ideologic education in North Korea is to make standard of communism mankind by impregnating the royalty and the faith about the socialistic system with people. The purpose of the political-ideologic education in North Korean army is to bring up the soldiers who are willing to devote to themselves to Korean Worker s Party and Kim Jung-il. Therefore, North Korean army educates their soldiers communism and the political-ideologic education prior military science to be warrior in socialism revolution. North Korean army educates mainly the political-ideologic education from new soldiers to officers. The political-ideologic education takes 25% in orientation time of new soldiers, and takes 17-20% in the officer and noncommissioned officer education time. The result of the political-ideologic education is the important factor that evaluates individual and corps in fighting power highly, and controls members through political judgement. The feature of the political-ideologic education in North Korean army could divide two parts. One is institutional, the other is substantial. The former is strict educational system under the Korean Workers Party control, the stress of political-ideologic education, repetition for long hours, regular inspection, and maximization of educational effect by political judgement. The latter is emphasis on royalty of the Party and Kim Jung-il, the hostility against the United Sates and South Korea, and the optimism of revolution, and then shortage of creative thought. Eventually, the members inspired by the political-ideologic education in North Korean army contribute to North Korean society by models of impregnating ideology. They help 'Sungun Jungchi(the policy of giving priority to army)' and play the important role through the political-ideologic education.
