본 논문에서는 RCS(radar cross section) 저감을 위한 rasorber를 제안하고, 최신 연구와의 성능 비교 및 특성 분석을 진행하였다. 레이돔(radome)과 흡수체(absorber)의 합성어인 rasorber는 외부의 전자기파는 흡수하면서 레이돔 기능을 이행하는 구조로, 주파수 대역에 의존적인 FSR(frequency-selective rasorber) 형태가 일반적이다. FSR은 병렬 LC 탱크 회로를 통한 35 GHz의 전자파 투과대역 특성을 갖도록 설계된 손실 공진기와 무손실 공진기로 구성된다. 무손실 공진기 전면에위치하는 손실 공진기는 추가적인 직렬 RLC 회로에 의한 광대역 전자파 흡수대역을 갖는다. LC 탱크 회로의 공진 주파수 조정을 통해 투과대역의 중심주파수를 변화시킨다. 제안된 FSR은 투과대역 조정이 가능한 형상을 적용하여 흡수대역종단에 투과대역이 위치한다. 제작된 FSR은 Ka-대역인 35 GHz의 투과대역을 가지면서 X-, Ku-, K-대역을 포함하는 7.8∼ 28.5 GHz에서 80 % 이상의 흡수율을 보인다.

본 논문에서는 FSSH(Folded Slot Spherical Helix) 자기 다이폴 안테나에 관한 추가적인 연구를 통해 안테나 시작품 제작에 용이성을 갖는 구조를 제안하고, 그 방사 특성을 분석하였다. FSSH 자기 다이폴 안테나의 folded element 개수와 그 사이 간의 거리 및 금속면의 두께를 조절하여 전기적 소형 크기에서 높은 효율을 유지하면서 상대적으로 간소화된 안테나 구조를 제안하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 안테나의 넓은 고효율 대역폭 특성을 non-Foster 정합회로를 통해 실질적으로 사용할 수 있음을 확인하였다. SLS(Selective Laser Sintering) 3D 프린팅 기술을 통해 안테나 시작품을 제작 및 측정하였다. 측정값은 구리 테이프 경계면의 높은 저항 손실로 인해 시뮬레이션에 비해 낮은 Q값 특성을 보인다. In this paper, we propose an FSSH(Folded Slot Spherical Helix) magnetic dipole antenna with a form factor easy to build and study its radiation properties. The number of folded arms, the gap between them and the metal thickness are tuned to achieve relatively simple structure to realize whereas maintaining high radiation efficiency at an electrically small size. The proposed design shows wide radiation efficiency bandwidth and it is confirmed by circuit simulation that the non-Foster impedance matching techniques could be utilized for its practical use. The prototype of the proposed antenna is built with the aid of an SLS(Selective Laser Sintering) 3D printing technology. The measured result shows lower Q impedance characteristic due to high resistive loss of the copper tape joints.

In order to establish preventive maintenance standards through analysis & reliability prediction of about 60,000pcs of 20kindsof relays and contractors used for Seoul subway trains, several life prediction methodologies were applied Firstly, Occurrence, Severity, Detection were defined and predicted by applying operation characteristic of EMU to the number of actions of relays & contactors which the manufacturers generally offer as the life cycle data. Secondly, failure distribution and average life of pails were analyzed through interpretation of field data based on a lot of experience which had built up in the field for a long time. Finally, using the 2I7PLUS standard as a reliability prediction program, comparative analysis of use reliability and inherent reliability was done through reliability prediction at the pan level and system level.

Recently, also in railway vehicles, related products are being designed and manufactured through RAMS activities in order to secure their reliability, availability, maintainability & safety. Subway operators are conducting R&D on various preventive maintenance methods and applying them to the field so as to establish a reliability centered maintenance(RCM) system. In this connection, manufacturers shall carry out R&D based on reliability from the first design stage of development to provide high quality products to subway operators. And operators shall have the products operated properly to their particular operating environment and managed based on the standard maintenance manual. Not only that, but the related field data shall be fed back into the manufacturers to upgrade upcoming products by organic cooperation between manufacturer and operators. However, the mutually beneficial cooperative relationship is not still developed in the domestic railway industry. In terms of methodology for life prediction, this study was intended to analyze field data on relays used for rolling stocks considering operational characteristics in the position of subway operators and predict parts reliability using reliability prediction program from the standpoint of manufacturers as well.

There are lots of efforts to get more and more higher level of reliability maintainability availability and safety in all the railway system development process. To do a RAMS activity and process very effectively many an information is required based on operational knowledge and manufacturer's engineering technology together. But some interests between organization in demand sector and manufacturers in supply makes it difficult to do. This paper for this reason presents an idea about the activities and process for SR001 system which is newly under developing and manufacturing by SMRT. Especially we provide it with some idea how to integrate every activity and process and to analyze it specifically for system level as well. With these efforts we provide a typical RAMS process of SR001 that could be applicable to other rolling stock system and the improvement of the system over total life cycle phases.
