An export insurance system in Korea was put inforce in Feb. 1969. The kinds of an export insurance system in Korea are general export insurance, export draft insurance, middle or long terms payment export insurance, consignment export insurance, export finance insurance, foreign investment insurance and foreign construction works insurance. Among these insurances export draft insurance is utilized plentifully. Export insurance in Korea has being conducted by the Korean Reinsurance Corp. from 1969 to 1976, it is come to manage by the Korean Export and Import Bank from Jan.1977. We can indicate several problems to amend in the Korean export insurance, that is, the limit with the security risks, the problems on the system to increase demand, the insurance rate system, unutilization of the inclusive insurance, the credit research of the foregin companies and the administrative organization and the personal administration etc. The problems above mentioned being amended the Korean export insurance will develop all the more.

Marine transportation being very important, all nations make every effort to promote it, but it is in stagnant condition in Korea. It prospered in the Silla time In Yi Dynasty, trade was done mainly between Korea and China. The marine transportation was mainly managed by Japanese during the Japanese colonial periods. After liberation from Japan, marine transportation in Korea has developed gradually, but it progressed at faster rate during the stage of the first and second five-years economics developing plans. As a main problem in overseas lines, we can indicate the shortage of shipping by our national ships, and in domestic lines, our shipping business is on a very small scale. Above all, shortage of bottoms is the main problem to be solved. In order to promote marine transportation, increase of bottoms and increase of loading by our national ships are more important than anything else.

全羅道縮海과 西海岸은 그 位置때문에 護史的으로 여러차례의 侵憲에 시달려 왔다. 特히 이 地減中에서도 도서를 포함한 海岸綠을 끼고 있는 康津, 長與, 梅南, 莞島, 珍島등의 住民들은 候寇의 侵入經路에 해당되기 때문에 항상 不安한 狀態에 있었다고 할 것이다.
