MIND 식단교육을 이용한 치매예방 영양프로그램이 고위험 치매노인의 인지기능 변화에 미치는 영향

This study examined the effect of the Mediterranean-DASH Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay (MIND) diet of the Korean multi-domain dementia prevention program on the cognitive functions of the elderly with dementia risk factors. We developed the program including nutrition, exercise, cognitive training, vascular disease prevention, and motivation. One- hundred and fifty-three participants aged 60∼79 years with at least 1 dementia risk factor were randomly assigned in a 1:1:1 ratio to the facility-based intervention (FMI), home-based intervention (HMI), and the control group. The nutrition education program consisted of 10 classes over 24 weeks: the FMI received 7 group sessions and three 1:1 sessions, the HMI received 4 group sessions and three 1:1 sessions with 3 homework sessions. The Nutrition Quotient for Elderly (NQ-E) and the Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA) were used to evaluate nutritional status. The Repeatable Battery for the Assessment Neuropsychological Status (RBANS), Korean Mini-Mental State Examination (K-MMSE), and the Cognitive Complaint Interview (CCI) were used to evaluate cognitive functions. A total of 136 people completed the program with an 11.1% dropout rate. The NQ-E (P=0.009) and RBANS (P=0.001) scores significantly increased in the FMI (N=45) and HMI (N=49) groups compared to the control group (N=42) after the study. The changes in the score of MNA and CCI did not differ significantly between groups. In conclusion, the nutritional intervention which focused on the MIND diet as a part of a multi-domain intervention program had a positive effect on the improvement of healthy eating habits and cognitive function scores in the high-risk dementia group.
연소 해석법을 이용한 Idle Irregular Shake 저감 연구

This study summarizes findings from recent efforts to better understand idle quality, including lumpiness (erratic shake). It combines new observations with previously known factors to provide a more complete view of the idle shake mechanism and the perception of the shake by occupants. The following discussion demonstrates the system nature of idle quality. Much of the data were processed by the combustion analysis method, which splits the idle vibration into its periodic and random components. This partitioning, coupled with several key observations of experimental data by various personnel, has led to a better understanding of idle lumpiness. Combining the combustion analysis method with cylinder pressure data also led to the calculation of the combustion torque spectra (random and periodic components) and to in-situ Frequency Response Functions. These measures quantify the engine’s combustion excitation, and the related vehicle sensitivities, respectively. Their characteristics explain trends first seen in the combustion analysis results. Using these techniques, an allocation method is described to ensure attainment of good idle quality.

All the automotive makers make efforts to meet the customer’s desire which is being varying very fast. But the limitation for development period and cost makes it very difficult that automotive makers cannot have enough time and chance to get perfect launch. To compensate these problems, it is necessary to utilize these data in advance which can be complaints from customer after launch when the development concept and target is considered. For this purpose, the information from each domestic warranty center and the official data from marketing related institute can be useful. The analyzed data based on various case studies can make it possible to give clues for items to be checked on the way of developing or to cover the unfiltered points due to the lack of number of samples. Through this process, automotive makers can check the item to be considered what could not be improved by some kinds of reasons during the past launch and can use this as a compensative data to cover this methodical defect. In this study, this empirical study can be introduced and can be proved when the makers want to use this during preview for the next launch.

As many diesel engines are utilized in middle class or compact cars, the demands for quiet and good sound quality in diesel engine also increase more and more. High combustion pressure in idle and light load acceleration mode makes it difficult to make low noise like that of gasoline engine, but the sound quality can be enhanced by introducing DOE. For the complete improvement of diesel engine sound quality, it is necessary to consider the combustion and mechanical noise. But it is thought that the reduction of the combustion noise can show us a short way to get full improvement. The most important factor to be considered in this study is to find the optimum combustion conditions without any deterioration of emission level and drivability. This paper includes the DOE method as a tool to find out the optimized combustion conditions, which is possible to realized better sound quality in idle through that method without deteriorating the important two limited conditions.
Torsional Vibration Model을 이용한 Powertrain 거동 연구

Recently the research of powertrain torsional vibration behavior due to engine torque fluctuation has been widely studied. Shudder and Clunk are typical torsional phenomenon , which take places low frequency range from 10 ㎐ to 30㎐. This vibration is transmitted from many different locations towards indoor in vehicle and typically contributes to booming noise. In this paper, torsional vibration analysis model is developed in order to expect the torsional behavior of powertrain . At first, driveline torsional vibration model using AMESim is built. Then torsional vibration analysis is carried out under engine maneuver condition. It is found that clutch damper design is one of the main effective counter-measures to reduce torsional vibration.

This paper investigates the launch shudder phenomenon at the front wheel drive vehicle with manual transmission. The shudder is always accompanied with engine surge, wheel torsional vibration and mounts vibration resonance, especially powertrain roll motion. It means that shudder occurs according to the increase of external load come from vehicle drive system or road. In this study, the shudder mechanism model was created by experimental study of torsional behavior of powertrain and drive system components. One dimensional multi DOF vehicle torsional analysis model was created and used to verify reduction of shudder by increasing clutch hysteresis and adapting dual mass flywheel. To reduce the powertrain roll motion, mount property was changed and mount system was optimized.

최근 소방관에 관한 관심이 높아지면서 소방관의 근무 환경에 대한 문제가 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 소방관의 고질적인 통증 중 하나인 손목 통증을 효과적으로 관리할 수 있는 기기를 설계하고자 하였다. 손목 안마에 효과적인 움직임을 파악하고 필요한 힘을 정량적으로 측정하였다. 또한 소방관이 환자를 이송하는 상황을 도식화하여 지지대로서의 기능을 정량화하였다. 이를 통해 7개의 공기주머니와 한 개의 공기 펌프, 네 개의 솔레노이드 밸브를 이용하여 안마의 움직임을 모사하고 지지대의 역할을 할 수 있는 제품을 개발, 제작하였다. 실험과 사용자 평가를 통하여 안마움직임을 확인하였고, 지지대로서의 역할 수행 능력을 평가하였다. The growing interest in firefighters has raised issues of their working conditions. In this paper, we designed a device that can effectively manage wrist pain, one of the chronic pains that firefighters have. The effective movement and required force of the wrist massage were measured quantitatively by experiment. At the same time, patient transportation situation by a firefighter has been schematized and necessary functional support was quantified. With the use of air tubes, pump, and solenoid valves, proposed concept with lateral massage as well as wrist support function has been developed and manufactured. Through various experiment and user evaluation, both intended massage movement and supporting performance have also been evaluated.

Despite of NVH defects, diesel engines are a major topic for their economic advantages. Most passenger diesel engine rely on turbocharger to boost power, torque and even emissions. The turbocharger is rotating up to 240.000 rpm and this radiates various noises. This paper discusses the phenomenon of turbocharger "Hissing" and "Pulsation" and its impact on NVH focusing on 1) mechanism of "Hissing" and "Pulsation" occurrence and 2) mechanism for the radiation and potential countermeasure for reducing those noises.

This paper investigates on the improvement of gerotor type engine oil pump noise. Gerotor type pump is widely used as oil pump because of its simplicity and high efficiency. Noise from gerotor oil pump is basically affected from teeth number of its inner rotor and oil passage system. By increasing teeth number and improving relief valve and oil passage system, harmonic order noise was definitely decreased.
