        An analytical method for the design of compliant end-effector appropriate to the given assembly task is presented. Use of passive compliance in mating operations is effective in order to prevent excessive contact forces and to guide a part to be assembled to its goal location despite of positioning errors. First, quasi-static equilibrium conditions are established based on the kinematic and quasi-static analyses of mechanical contacts. Second, feasible candidates for the desired end-point compliance are calculated based on the equilibrium conditions. Next, the configurations and the spring constants of virtual springs consisting of the desired compliant mechanism are designed. Simulation of mating operations is then introduced in order to determine the spring constants and to verify whether the derived compliant mechanism enables the operations successful or not. Finally, one numerical example is shown to illustrate the proposed design method.

        적층형 세라믹 압전 액추에이터의 전계강도와 압축응력에 따른 변위특성 해석

        The effects of electric field strength and mechanical compressive stress on the displacement of multilayered ceramic actuator, stacked alternatively 0.2 (PbM $n_{1}$3/N $b_{2}$3/ $O_3$)-0.8(PbZ $r_{0.475}$ $Ti_{0.525}$ $O_3$) ceramic thin films and 70Ag-30Pd electrodes were investigated. Because the actuators were designed to stack ceramic layer and electrode layer alternatively, the ceramic-electrode interfaces may act as a resistance to motion of domain wall. so the polarization and strain were affected by the amount of 180$^{\circ}$domain, electric field strength and mechanical compressive stress. Consequently, the change of polarization, displacement with respect to field strength, and mechanical compressive stress were likely to be caused by readiness of the domain wall movement around the ceramic-electrode interfaces.ces.

        Degradation of 0.2PMN-0.8PZT Multilayer Ceramic Actuators

        Aging characteristics of 0.2PMN-0.8PZT multilayer ceramic actuators (MCA) has been investigated by applying both triangular wave function for unpoled and unipolar wave for poling. P-E hysteresis loops of the MCA had been distorted after about 90 million cycles running in triangular wave function. Effective electromechanical coupling coefficient was calculated in resonant and anti resonant frequencies. And pseudo-piezoelectric constant d33 was also estimated from the strain versus electric field characteristics. The crack growth of MCA was clearly observed along to the boundary between electrode and inactive area. That results were thought due to the internal tensile stress came from both actuation of d33 mode and motion of Poisson ratio.

        BSO와 YIG를 이용한 임펄스 전압, 전류 측정용 광센서 구현

        In this paper an optical voltage sensor and an optical current sensor which can be used for the measurement of impulse voltage and current are implemented. BSO single crystal is utilized as a voltage sensor(Pockels effect cell). An rare earth doped YIG is used as a current sensor(Faraday effect cell). A new signal processing technique is adopted not only to avoid the influences o external optical fiber pertubations of transmitting optical fiber but also to improves the frequency response characteristics of the fiber-optic voltage and current sensors. Experimental results show that optical voltage sensor has maximum 2.5% error within the voltage range from 0V to 500V. and optical current sensor has maximum 2.5% error within the current range and that of optical current sensor is about 1.5% within temperature range from -2$0^{\circ}C$ to 6$0^{\circ}C$. The proposed optical sensors have good frequency response characteristics within the frequency range from DC to 10MHz.

      • In-Process Calibration에 관한 연구

        Calibration is a technique that adjusts the disagreement between a real robot and its corresponding virtual simulator in off-line programming. It execution, however, requires the inactive robot, and which has the same serious effects on the other equipments linked to the robot in assembly line. The advantage of time and cost saving in off-line programming may be, after all, declined to no small degree. Moreover, there is still, in spite of calibration, remained the room for improvement in the aspect of going forward into the gearing over the agreement between real and virtual worlds. For the purpose of settling these two problems existing in the calibration, we present a new methodology based on the monitoring and prediction of positioning inaccuracy, which is called In-Process Calibration system (IPCS) in this paper. IPCS suppose that positioning inaccuracy in robots is accumulated and enlarged having a certain direction as time passes. The IPCS dealing with the transition of repetitive accuracy is fundamentally different from the already-existing calibration related with absolute positioning accuracy. It consists of four modules, that is, modeling, measurement, prediction, identification, and correction. The major difference with the already-existing calibration is in the prediction, which makes the role of forecasting the direction and magnitude of positioning errors at an expected correction time from the periodically measured actual position data. Identification is carried out based on the predicted data. The CAD data or robot program in virtual world is updated by the identification results and downloaded to the real robot. The validity of the proposed IPCS is illustrated through a simulation.

        Hybrid 구조의 Fe계 연자성 박막의 특성

        Magnetic properties and microstructures of Fe$\_$93-x/Zr$_3$B$_4$Ag$\_$x/ thin films were investigated as a function of addition of element Ag, (X$\_$Ag/=0 to 6 at.%) and annealing temperature, T$\_$a/=300$\^{C}$ to 600$\^{C}$. In the case of adding Ag, magnetic properties of Fe$\_$93-x/Zr$_3$B$_4$Ag$\_$x/ thin films were improved than those of Ag-free Fe$\_$93/Zr$_3$B$_4$thin films. The prominent soft magnetic properties with coercivity of 1.1 Oe, saturation magnetization of 2.2 T and permeability of 5400 at 50㎒ were obtained from Fe$\_$88/Zr$_3$B$_4$Ag$\_$5/ thin film annealed was lower than that of Fe-base or Co-base thin films reported previously. Such enhanced magnetic properties are presumably attributed to the format in ultra fine grains. Also, the reduced eddy current loss in the annealed sample is due to refined micro magnetic domains with increasing the amount of Ag in Fe$\_$93-x/Zr$_3$B$_4$Ag$\_$x/ thin films.

      • 파생상품 사용이 한국기업의 정보비대칭에 미치는 영향

        본 연구에서는 한국시장에서 주당순이익에 대한 애널리스트의 예측오차와 예측치의 표준편차를 정보비대칭의 대용치로 하여 파생상품의 사용이 기업의 정보비대칭를 줄여주는 역할을 하는지를 검증하였다. 전체기간(2003년~2009년)에 대한 분석 결과 파생상품 사용량은 정보비대칭 변수와 음(-)의 관계를 가져 파생상품 사용이 기업의 정보비대칭을 줄여주는 역할을 함을 보여주나, 그 관계의 강도는 유의성이 떨어져 미국시장을 대상으로 DaDalt et al.(2002) 등 선행연구의 결과와는 다소 차이가 난다. 기간을 세분화 하여 금융위기 전(2003년~2006년), 금융위기 후(2007년~2009년)로 구분하여 분석한 결과는, 금융위기 이전 기간에 비해 금융위기 이후 기간에는 파생상품 사용량이 정보비대칭 변수와 갖는 음(-)의 관계에 통계적 유의성이 떨어진다. 또 통화파생상품을 대상으로 선물환과 통화선물만을 이용하는 집단과 통화옵션 및 통화스왑을 이용하는 집단으로 구분하여 분석한 결과는 파생상품 사용량과 정보비대칭 변수간에 갖는 음(-)의 관계가 선물환 및 선물 이용 기업의 경우 유의적으로 나타나나 옵션 및 스왑 이용 기업에서는 그 관계가 양(+)의 관계로 나타나는 흥미로운 결과를 보여준다. 이러한 결과는 KIKO 사태에서 보듯이 헤지목적으로 단순한 파생상품을 이용하는 기업의 경우 파생상품 사용이 정보비대칭을 줄여주는 역할을 할 수 있으나, 복잡한 상품을 헤지외의 목적으로 이용하는 경우 파생상품 사용이 오히려 기업의 정보비대칭을 높일 수 있음을 보여주는 것이다.
