유리선량계를 사용하여 Colon study 중 검사자가 받게 되는 산란선량 측정을 통한 고찰

Purpose : We studed the operator’s scattery dose while performing the colon study using Radiophotoluminescent Glass Rod Detector(GRD). Materials and Methods : We recorded scatter ray dose during the colon study. Term is from January 6th day 2008vto January 23th day 2008. We used Fluoroscopy system(Shimavision 3200HG; over tube unit, SID:110cm, Image intensifier’s size: 12inch), GRD(Dose Ace’s small detector; model: GD-352M, leader: FGD-1000, Asahi Technology Glass Corporation) and 0.5mmPb Apron(Burkhart Roentgen corporation). Scatter ray’s average was checked by GRD at opertator’s right eye(A), thyroid protector(in,B and out,C), genital gland protector(in,D and out,E). It was compared with chest PA projection dose. Results : Scatter ray in BaSO₄ Study was measured on the average 654.SμGy(A), 28.9μGy(B), 526.2μGy(C), 12.0μ Gy(D) and 356.4μGy(E). Scatter ray in Gastrografin Study was measured on theaverage 708.lμGy(A), 29.SμGy(B), 624.lμGy(C), 17.3μGy(D), 413.5μGy(E). It represent that scatter ray decrease the more long distance from X-ray tube. Apron and thyroid protector was available of radiation protect about 95% at every measurement site. Operator’s dose while performing the colon study once all most equal to patient’s dose when performing chest X-ray 5 times. Conclusion : Radio- technologist must consider about radiation protection’s 3 principle that are the fluoroscopy time, distance, shielding. Radiation- related workers have to menage personal radiation dose thoroughly and effort to minimize radiation dose constantly.
VCUG를 이용한 VUR 환아의 임상적 고찰 : Tc99m-DMSA scan과 초음파 검사를 통한 비교

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to find an usefulness of VCUG compared with Tc99m-DMSA scan and sonography for diagnosis of pediatric patients’ UTI. Materials and Methods : 104 pediatric patients between two months and eight years old were examined the three methods all included VCUG, Tc99m-DMSA scan, and sonography for diagnosis of UTI. The view reports by the three methods was compared centering around finding rates. Results : Of total 104 patients, 60 was had the reflux in VCUG, 63 the renal scar in Tc99m-DMSA scan, and 47 the abnormality in sonography. The UTI was shown in 64 patients. Of these 64 patients with UTI, 36(53.3%) was shown the reflux, 51(79.7%) the renal scar, and 28(43.8%) the abnormality. Conclusion : VCUG is an useful method for diagnosis of pediatric patients’ UTI, because that shows a correct reflux grade and anatomical structure of urinary tract.

Purpose : The need for standardization of radiation exposure has been suggested and the standard dose has been proposed by the International Atomic Energy Agency(IAEA) as a safety standard. This study is to reduce patient’s radiation dose by comparing our data with the standard dose from IAEA in fluoroscopy.

This study systematically establish the using of compression pad for UGI and SBS examination to enhance the quality of the it.
