        학교폭력에서 여자 청소년의 방관 경험에 대한 현상학적 연구

        The purpose of this study was to explore the meaning of outsiders’ experience among female adolescents, who went through school violence, by using an analytical phenomenological approach designed by van Manen. For doing this, data from the in-depth interview with 5 female adolescents were analyzed. 21 meaning units from subject analysis found were categorized into 8 sub-categories and 3 components. ‘Survival strategy’ was drawn from components consisting of ‘remaining still,’ ‘getting out of violence,’ and ‘paying attention only to myself and my friends,’ It implies that survival strategy represents female adolescents’ prompt and specific response to school violence. ‘Moral conflict and Skepticism’ was formalized from sub-components which were composed of ‘Is being an crime?,’ and ‘the position of a outsider between offenders and victims.’ It was a outsider who was reflected in the female adolescents’ consciousness. It draws the conclusion that female adolescents presumably have fear that they might be regarded as being offenders because they have once become outsiders at the scene of school violence. However, consequently they decided not to be offenders. Outsiders who were female adolescents witnessed school violence initiated by jealousy and rage were put in the unsolved situation. Therefore, they formalized reality as the logic of violence even if offenders left at school. There were ‘no exit,’ ‘unremoved violence,’ and ‘the combination of jealousy and rage’ as sub-components of the logic of violence. It was identified that essential themes were ‘Self-censorship, and silence’ through the process of categorizing and abstracting.
