Although chlorine has been widely used as one of the disinfectants in the water treatment process, it is often unfavorable since it produces not only the toxic materials like THMs, but also has the strong resistance in some microorganisms including viruses. Recently, ozonation has been paid much attention as the new disinfectant technology because it is very effective in inactivating the pathogenic microorganisms including viruses. The present study was directed toward the efficiencies of the ozonation technology. To assess the effect of inactivation of viruses and E. coli., the poliovirus and E. coli. KCCM 11234 were used as the model microorganisms, and the efficiencies of inactivation with the concentration of ozone, the concentration of initial microorganisms, and the pH were examined. The results showed that, at the higher concentration of ozone, the inactivation efficiencies of virus and E. coli. were significantly higher. On the other side, under the circumstances of lower pH and concentration of virus and E. coli., the efficiencies of inactivation were more effective.

중국 연변 거주 조선족 결손가정 청소년의 모래놀이치료 주제 및 상징연구

The purpose of this study was to find the themes and symbols expressed in sandplay therapy by Korean-Chinese adolescents from broken families in China. This study was conducted with Korean-Chinese residents of Yanbian Prefecture in northeastern China. The subjects of this study were adolescents in broken families who did not live with their mother, father, or both parents for various reasons. Sandplay therapy consisted of eight sessions over one month. The subjects underwent 45 minutes of therapy in each session. With the agreement of the subjects and their guardians, the sandplay therapy process was photographed. Meaningful contents were noted in the sand scenes and abstract research themes were narrowed down. As a result, the observed contents were materialized and the common themes found in adolescents were categorized. To ensure the validity of this study, triangulation and peer debriefing were applied. A case-by-case analysis procedure was adopted. It was found that there were four common themes expressed, namely a ‘sense of distance’, ‘wounded’, ‘hope’, and ‘newness’. This study afforded insights into the psychological difficulties and characteristics of adolescents from broken families as well as providing them with an opportunity for understanding and healing themselves.

This study aimed to explore whether sandplay therapy could offer an effective psychological intervention for middle school students with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). We conducted sandplay therapy on six occasions with second-grade middle school students with PTSD and subsequently observed a significant decrease in their PTSD total scores. Our follow-up assessments of the subjects six months later showed that the related indicators remained within an acceptable range. Based on these results, we have concluded that sandplay therapy offers an effective psychological intervention for teenagers with PTSD. 目的是为了探讨沙盘游戏疗法对中学生PTSD心理干预的成效和有效性。本研究利用沙盘游戏疗法对一例PTSD的中学二年级男生进行了6次沙盘游戏治疗,对6次沙盘作品的变化趋势进行描述分析,研究沙盘游戏疗法对青少年创伤后应激障碍的心理矫治过程及效果。结果发现沙盘游戏疗法干预后PTSD总分由干预前的72分降低为干预后的32分,说明沙盘游戏疗法可有效缓解改善中学生的PTSD症状。半年后追踪评估表明来访者各项指标均维持在正常常模的范围内。结论是沙盘游戏疗法对缓解和改善青少年PTSD症状有明显的干预效果。
