        An Implementation of Automotive Parking Assistance System using Qplus-Auto OSEK Edition

        Traditional implementation schemes for automotive electronic control units look simple, but the tradition schemes need so many coarse works to satisfy the user requirements regarding time constraints whenever their microprocessors are changed. Recently, a movement toward using middle-wares, such as OSEK operating system, has risen in automotive industry. In this paper, we describe how to use the features of operating systems to replace traditional firmware based softwares in points of views of services, such as multitask support, preemption, and realtime property. To show an example, we implemented a parking assistance system as a prototype.

        ZrO<sub>2</sub>의 분말크기가 ZTA의 기계적 물성에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the microstructures and mechanical properties of zirconia toughened alumina (ZTA) ceramics prepared from two kinds of 3Y-TZP powders. ZTA composites were prepared by adding two kinds of 3Y-TZP powders, 3YEH (BET = $7m^2/g$) and 3YEM (BET = $16m^2/g$), to ${\alpha}$-alumina in the range of 5-25 wt%. It was found that the microstructure photographs of the ZTA composites showed that the average grain size of alumina decreased as the content of zirconia increased. In our present study, specimens containing 3YEM zirconia exhibited smaller grain sizes compared to those of 3YEH zirconia. The Vickers hardness of the ZTA composites that were sintered at $1600^{\circ}C$ for 2 hrs was found to smoothly decrease with increasing zirconia content because of the low Young modulus in zirconia. The Vickers hardness of the ZTA containing 3YEH zirconia was greater than that of the 3YEM zirconia. In substance, the fracture toughness ($K_{1c}$) of the ZTA composites increased as the content of zirconia increased. The fracture toughness ($K_{1c}$) of ZTA containing 3YEM zirconia was greater than that of 3YEH zirconia.

        빠른 문맥전환을 위한 임베디드 시스템 구조

        In real-time embedded systems, the responsibility is the most important thing because it is related to human life. Context switching is a part of which can slow down the responsibility. We therefore should minimize the amount of state that needs to be saved during context switching. In this paper, we introduce a new architecture (Register Farm) for context switching which can exchange two contexts in one cycle time. Although it might increase the cost of MCU design and the complexity of circuit, it cannot miss any interrupt during context switching. Consequently, Register Farm architecture can make embedded systems spread out in human life because it can increase reliability and responsibility in real time embedded systems.

        Pb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3-PbZrO3계의 유전 및 압전특성

        The dielectric and piezoelectric properties with compositions in Pb(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3-PbZrO3-(PNN-PT-PZ)solid solution ceramics were investigated. In this study, the compsition ranges were 30 PNN 45mole%, 20 PT 50mole% and 50 PZ5mole%. As PT fraction were increased the grain size was increased and the fired density was decreased, but the changes of PNN fraction had no effect on the grain size. The Curie temperature was increased when PT and PNN fraction were increased. The displacement was increased but had a great hysteresis loss when PT fraction was increased. In morphotropic phase boundary, the maximum piezoelectric and electromechanical coupling factor were indicated. Morphotropic phase boundary(MPB) was 34 PT 36mole% in chang of compositions.

      • 복강경 검사로 진단된 결핵성 복막염

        목적: 우리 나라는 폐결핵의 이환율이 높으며 폐외 결핵의 하나인 결핵성 복막염 환자도 드물지 않게 볼 수 있다. 그러나 임상상이 다양하고 비특이적이어서 복수가 동반된 타질환과의 감별이 쉽지 않은 실정이다. 저자들은 복강경 검사로 진단된 결핵성 복막염 환자를 대상으로 임상 양상 및 복강경 검사 소견을 조사하여 보고한다. 대상 및 방법: 1980년부터 2000년까지 계명대학교 동산의료원 내과학교실에서 복강경 검사로 진단된 결핵성 복막염 환자 51명을 대상으로 후향적 조사를 하였다. 결과: 1) 성별 분포는 남자가 17명, 여자가 34명이였으며 연령 분포는 20대(19.6%)와 30대(21.6%)에서 가장 높은 빈도를 보였다. 2) 주증상은 복부 팽만감이 45명(88.2%)에서 관찰되었으며 이외 복통, 체중 감소, 전신 쇠약감, 소화 불량, 발열감, 이 피로성, 설사 순으로 높은 빈도를 보였다. 증상 지속 기간은 1개월 이하가 28명(54.9%)으로 가장 많았고 평균 60일이었다. 3) 신체검사 소견은 이동성 탁음이 48명(94.1%)에서 관찰되었고 이외 복부 압통, 종괴가 만져지는 경우, 반사 압통 순으로 높은 빈도를 보였다. 4) 동반된 타장기 결핵으로는 폐결핵이 14명(27.4%) 있었고 이 중 3명은 활동성 폐결핵이었다. 이외 경부 결핵성 임파선염도 2명(3.9%)에서 관찰되었다. 5) 복수 생화학적 검사에서 평균 단백질량은 4.9 gm/dL였고 평균 백혈구수는 1,240/mm3였다. 임파구 우세 삼출액 소견이 45명(88.2%)에서 관찰되었고 1명에서는 복수 도말검사에서 결핵균을 발견할 수 있었다. 6) 복강경 검사 소견으로는 결핵성 결절이 전 예에서 관찰되었으며 복막에 49명(96.1%)으로 가장 많았고, 망(omentum), 간표면, 장막(bowel serosa), 횡경막 순으로 높은 빈도를 보였다. 장유착은 16명(31.4%)에서 관찰되었으며 섬유 성망(fibrous veil)은 14명(27.5%)에서 관찰되었다. 7) 복막 결절 조직검사에서는 건락성 육아종이 37명(72.6%), 비건락성 육아종이 10명(19.6%), 비특이적 염증소견이 4명(7.8%)에서 각각 관찰되었다. 조직 AFB 염색 검사에서는 10명(19.6%)에서 결핵균이 있었다. 결론: 결핵성 복막염은 임상 양상이 비특이적이므로 의심이 될 경우 복강경 검사를 시행하여 소견 관찰 및 조직 검사를 통한 진단이 필요할 것으로 생각한다. Background/Aims: Tuberculous peritonitis is still a very important cause of exudative ascites in Korea. We analized the clinical features and laparoscopic findings in patients with tuberculous peritonitis diagnosed by laparoscopy. Methods: We studied 51 patients who had tuberculous peritonitis confirmed by laparoscopic biopsy from 1980 to 2000, in retrospective method. Results: The ratio of male to female was 1:2. The peak incidence was between 21 and 40 years of age. The mean duration of symptoms is 60 days. The most frequent chief complaints and physical findings was abdominal fullness (88.2%) and shifting dullness (94.1 %). Involvement of other organs included pulmonary tuberculosis (27.4%), cervical tuberculous lymphadenitis (3.9%). The mean ascitic fluid protein concentration was 4.9 gm/dL, mean WBC count 1,240/mm3 and lymphocyte dominant exudate 88.2%. AFB smear was positive only one patient (2.0%). Tuberculous nodules on laparoscopy were noted in all of the patients. Histolologic findings were caseating granuloma (72.6%), non-caseating granuloma (19.6%) and nonspecific inflammation (7.8%). Tissue AFB stain was positive 10 patients (19.6%). Conclusions: Tuberculous peritonitis shows nonspecific clinical features. Therefore, laparoscopic examination with biopsy is the most useful method to make differential diagnosis of patients who are suspected tuberculous peritonitis.         Single Crystal Structure of Pure Inorganic Nanocomposite $[GaO_4Al_12(OH)_24(H_2O)_12][Al(OH)_6Mo_6O_{18}]_2(OH)$·$30H_2O$

        Single crystals of nanocomposite [GaO4Al12(OH)24(H2O)12][Al(OH)6Mo6O18]2(OH)${\cdot}$30H2O, 2, were obtained by the reaction between [GaO4Al12(OH)24(H2O)12]7+ and [Mo7O24]6- clusters in an aqueous solution, analogously to the [AlO4Al12(OH)24(H2O)12][Al(OH)6Mo6O18]2(OH)${\cdot}$29.5H2O nanocomposite, 1. The crystal structure of 2 was determined by single crystal x-ray diffraction; space group $C2}c$ (No. 15), a = 27.418(2) $\AA$, b = 15.647(2) $\AA$, c = 23.960(4) $\AA$, $\beta$ = $102.850(9)^{\circ}$, V = 10,021.5(20) $\AA3$ , Z = 4. Detailed analysis of the structural data show that the clusters are held by intimate hydrogen bondings of the surface O2- and OH- groups of the clusters as well as the ionic interactions between the oppositely charged cluster ions.
